This is one of two fast food places in town that are quick and consistent. There are times when they are low on staffing, but the man at the drive thru this morning at 7am was handling it all, and doing a great job, even had a smile and nice greeting for me. I have had great service from them many times ( I go there at least once a week) In fact, because two of the three fast food places that are closer to my office are so bad that I will drive to Minden where I can count on the food and service. My husband & i were just at the minden McDonald's 6:24am & waited over 5 min for them to take our order at the box at 6:30. No one inside but workers.... We were the only car untill others showed up behind us. Then they had us pull up because we had to wait for hash browns. Out of the drive at 6:36! We came here for a quick lunch after visiting my grandparents in the assisted living facility across the street. My sister was not satisfied with her chicken sandwich and the manager was extremely accommodating and very nice and got her some chicken nuggets as a replacement. The staff was very pleasant as well. Fuck this place worst McDonald's ever they are all perm fried don't go here for the love of god

It's been a long, long time since I've been here and I live just a few blocks away. Sorry to say, but things have actually gotten worse. I went inside and waited at the counter for 7 or 8 minutes to place an order, and despite seeing me standing there, several employees just pretended like I didn't exist. So, I was forced to place my order at the kiosk, which was filthy so I used a knuckle to touch the screen. I had to enter a placard number for my table. The placard was so filthy that I walked over and reached behind their pickup counter and grabbed a few napkins in order to pickup the placard number. It was 8am when I placed the order. When I finished with the kiosk and held the placard by a napkin, I turned to find a table. Half of the tables in the dining area have individual chairs. All of them were still upside down on top of the tables (that's usually a sign the restaurant doesn't want diners inside. After all, they'd been open already for several hours). I had to remove the chairs from on top of the table I sat at. The table top was covered in crumbs. So, obviously, these were from the night before. Again I returned for napkins, took them to the restroom and got them wet, and wiped down my own table. After taking my seat, I noticed the floor was littered with debris. It was like the floor hadn't been mopped or swept in a week or more. The other tables around me hadn't been cleaned. I almost left, but I had already paid, and I figured I might as well see it through and then write a review on yelp, so here I am, writing a review. While I was waiting for my food, two customers came in and stood at the counter to order but nobody helped them. They both walked out. (and yes, my food took awhile to show up even though there were only 3 customers inside the place including me). When the food arrived, it was as consistent as normal for Mcdonald's, so that was a good thing. I think they should close down the dining area permanently and just serve people at the drive-thru. Management obviously doesn't want to even clean the dining area or even lower the upside down chairs from the tables every morning (basically making the customers do their work). The floors are filthy, the tables are dirty (again, customers must clean their own tables) and the placards that you get at the self-service kiosk for your order are disgustingly filthy. You won't want to touch them. If you're going through the drive-thru, this place is probably fine. As mentioned above, the food was the same as you would get at any Mcdonald's. My advice is to avoid the dinning area. Do not go inside. They don't want to take your order and they don't clean the floors or tables nor the placards. read more

Order was lost...never received food and now I have to dispute the charge on my credit card. The new "manager" was the rudest, unprofessional person I've ever met. If I could leave no stars for the review I would!! Traveling thru Nevada and stopped her for dinner with our service dog. She was attached to my husband (a disabled veteran) via a dog sling and she is trained to be quiet and disciplined while we are eating. The manager- Jeremy Evans came out and said is that a service dog? We said yes she is and he said is she wearing her vest? We said no and he said it's Nevada law they have to wear their vest inside. Fortunately part of our training is the legal requirements so I said let me look that up and I showed the manager the Nevada law regarding service dogs that says vest and tags are NOT required. Mr. Evans proceeded to say well in my restaurant they have to wear them. We packed up our food and left to do a "tailgate" with our food- while parked in a handicapped parking space! Mr.Evans sent his assistant manager to say we can't sit there eating our food and need to leave. The entire parking lot was empty except for our truck!! His assistant manager was very sorry for the trouble and stood talking while we ate to prevent Mr. Evans from coming out to harass us. DONT EAT HERE! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an order on the app at 10am knowing that breakfast would stop at 10:30 AM. I showed up at this location at 10:45 asking for my order. A woman, who appeared to be the manager, told me that they take away your pick up order from the shelf after 10:30 AM if you didn't make it in time for breakfast. This is a new McDonalds that replaced the one a little further down US 395. The building is clean and shiny inside and out, although the interior is a bit antiseptic for my taste. The facility feels like it's inside of a moat, considering all the rocks surrounding it, with lower level irrigation trenches on 2 sides. It's also an easy walk from the nearby Carson-Tahoe Medical offices, of which the ying and yang of health and nutrition don't exactly match. At many McDonald's locations, breakfast is served between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. every day except Fridays, when breakfast is served from 5 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. At this McDonald's, breakfast service ends at 10:30 and not a minute beyond. I learned the hard way as I started in the drive thru before that time, and when my turn came up, it was already too late, but only by a couple minutes. I left immediately, wrote a note of complaint to McDonald's Corporate, and was notified that they referred my concern to this location. Otherwise, I haven't heard a word from this McDonald's since. For various reasons, I've sworn off fast food, with 3 notable exceptions: 1. IN-N-Out 2. When I'm travelling, and there's nothing else available. 3. McDonald's Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit (with OJ and hold the potato patty). So back I was this morning and not wanted to tempt drive thru fate, I walked in. I skipped the ordering screens and was served well and quickly by the person at the counter. They forgot about us in the drive through. Had to walk in. The lady who gave us our drinks in the drive through asked her co-workers for help. They snapped back at her. Whe. We finally got our food, the fries were burnt as were re-heated in oil. When asked for fresh fries, the tall guy with glasses touched himself with gloves on and said F%CK. Noone was in uniform. But I'm assuming the girl who helped us was the manager. She looked overwhelmed and did everything. There was no jalapeños on the burger. The big Mac bun was stale. Didn't wanna waste the money spent, was on our way out of town, tried to feed to dog and he even refused. My son with autism who loves McDonald's wouldn't eat and threw it on the floor. read more

After Opened my big mac and lifted the bun to see someone took and damn bite out of my damn patty. Mcdonald's should be shut down absolutely terible might as well spit in my damn food. I was horrified to discover a clear bite mark on the top bun. It was as if a McDonald's employee had taken a bite out of my burger before wrapping it up and serving it to me. The food was perfect but my iced coffee was sooooo bad! My husband and I decided to grab a quick breakfast on our way out of town. We ordered through the app. No issues there. We did curbside pickup. That went fine. The lady that brought our food out was friendly and efficient. I don't know what went wrong with my regular iced coffee with cream but it tasted like a cup of milk. It was completely white not even a hint of a coffee color. Not even the slightest coffee flavor. What went wrong? Did the person making it forget to put the coffee in and just put the milk? I tossed that in the trash and just ate my breakfast sandwich. Glad I had water with me. read more

McDonald's is McDonalds , you pay for what you get including the attitudes from workers. They hate their jobs and they let you know it. I usually don't get service like this but it's been getting worse lately. Take a look at the pics again, finger prints smeared in ketchup, did they have gloves on??? My food was definitely tampered with. Maybe a worker doesn't like me?? I find this unprofessional, if they don't like me say something to my face. One rule everyone should know is you don't mess with other peoples food. I hope management starts to manage their workers, maybe take the ones behind the counter and have them wipe down the tables, sweep and check the bathrooms or empty the trash cans that are overflowing outside. Management, Don't be afraid to tell the adults back there to get their hands dirty since it looks like they like play in ketchup. I have to say, I'm reading a lot of bad reviews here. Especially the one who said someone took a bite out of his hamburger patty (gross). But our experience has been just the opposite. Every time we order breakfast or burgers, they always come out hot and fresh. Like the best McDonalds food I've ever had! I can't even believe I'm writing this, but McDonald's has reached a new low. My friend and I went there for a quick bite, but what we got was beyond disgusting. My friend ordered a Big Mac, and when he opened it, there was a big, obvious bite taken out of the patty! Like, what even? I normally don't write reviews for fast food restaurants because it's just fast food, never awesome, just whatever. But something happened that I've never seen in my life at any fast food restaurant ever. We came here because it was my son's 8th birthday and we don't really eat fast food, and he wanted McDonald's. so we decided to treat him. Now, we did order a substantial amount of food; two double quarter pounder meals, two 20 piece chicken nuggets, a 10 piece nugget meal and 6 McChicken sandwiches (I have two other teenage children). I, for one, expected it to take a few minutes, not a big deal, I also expected some degree of haphazard, thrown together messiness to the sandwiches; just things to expect when getting fast food. However, when my husband opened his burger, the topping were ON TOP OF HIS BURGER. It was bottom bun, patties and cheese, sauce top bun, and then the lettuce and tomatoes and whatever else, were on top of the burger... ON TOP!! It was super strange, like they forgot them and then just threw them in the box. To add insult to injury, all 50 nuggets were old, dried out and chewy. They'd definitely been sitting in the warming drawer for a while. It's times like this that I cannot believe that fast food employees are begging for $20+ an hour, it's not worth it as a consumer. Ordered through the app for drive up pick up. The old lady told me not to park in the assigned parking for drive up pick up anymore. Followed the rules as a customer and I still get yelled at by an on old boomer that can't pull her boot straps up and do her job correctly. Went in for a couple of drinks, then we stood to the side to get back to a text after having a family medical situation. Just as I was finishing my text the kid came over and asked why we were still there. He said well it looks like you're waiting for something. I explained I was just answering a text and then the shift manager came over and said we needed to leave. We're retired people, not thugs! Fries are always undercooked, old, and nasty!! Refries are the best they can offer-I don't think I've ever gotten a fry from them that wasn't old or pasty white and nasty. The fries should be golden brown. I went back after my first order was messed up and they corrected it by giving me very stale fries, and an attitude. I get to the drive through, and surprise surprise...they claim the ice cream machine is "broken". They said they could not refund my money and changed my bill to .10 as an extra sauce. Wow. Terrible. Just saw a commercial that shows the burgers juicy and fresh ha ha I have never had a burger or anything from McDonald's that was fresh every time I've eaten there the food was dry and old not fresh cold.
