We ordered a burrata and a charcuterie board it was so yummy with plenty to choose from. The servers are friendly and quick. The only thing was that in this heat wave, it was hot inside. But other than that, this seems like it will be our bookclub meet up spot!

Both drinks were not too sweet and you can still taste the espresso. The flavors didn't over take the rich based espresso coffee drink. I stick to my usual: Small Iced Moody Latte (pistachio latte with strawberry cream top) and they perfect it every time. Perfect amount of sweetness with the strong taste of espresso. Someone in the kitchen also likes kimchi and loves mixing it in their food because they also serve Kimchi Breakfast Tacos and Kimchi Grilled Cheese. We were there because we genuinely wanted to buy and enjoy their baked goods, yet somehow we walked away feeling like we were being treated as if we couldn't afford to shop there. And that's the part I find disappointing: great products do not excuse poor customer service. You can make the best ensaymada in town, but if the person behind the counter makes customers feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or looked down upon, the quality of the food becomes almost beside the point. People remember how a business makes them feel. I hope the owners of Max & Lucy's take customer service as seriously as they apparently take their baking. Almost same review for several McDonald's locations we frequent. [Throw your tantrum "AFTER" you get what you want] We've noticed that all the McDonald's seemed to have such bad scores? Doesn't anyone ever write up on good experiences? Well, we've had some mistakes happen in the past, but they were corrected immediately. Either in person or by way of a phone call. All because.... [well we'll share a little trick] Yep, we get really mad too, when we've left an establishment and have been ripped-off from an item they forgot to put in a bag or added ingredients, or not deleting/eliminating an ingredient. Or...??? But if you R-E-A-L-L-Y want to get the issue resolved, and done so in a "quick" manner... follow this little trick: If you express your issue or concern with a personable sounding tone... and communicate your issue with a bit of "HONEY" in your voice..... yea, that means swallowing your pride for a matter of seconds in your life [no matter how angry you are] we promise........... you will get a lot further and resolve your issue quickly!! Whether we have to make a phone call or have it out in person, we "make sure" that our "TONE" of our voice is calm and express what the issue is in a calm manner. [yep, the only way we found it works] We get our FREE/complimentary food or even a free coupon for another meal!! = All because... we were "nice" about how we explained our issue. [even though the manager or employee was acting like a dick] It is what we found that works 9 times out of 10 - - or 10 out of 10 Who cares if you have to bite your tongue for a second out of your life... because in the end, you get what you "really" want. I usually go to this McDonald's in the morning for my coffee. Recently I went around 10pm and got horrible service. There was only one person making the food and 3 managers with headsets for drive thru just standing around talking. I went through the drive thru with the intention of buying food but instead just got 2 drinks. I got my drinks and one cup was filled up half way. I asked for a cup of ice on the side which I always get and they said they were out of cups or had none to spare. This location really needs to concentrate on hiring people for this last shift especially with a 24 hour drive-thru. It took 10 minutes for me to get 2 large drinks. I'm very disappointed because I have never had a problem before but they need a more reliable night crew. With how much minimum wage is now you would think people would care about their job and the service they provide. Not a good impression. read more

My recent McDonald's visit was a letdown. I grabbed a Big Mac meal, and everything felt tired. The fries, usually a reliable comfort, were lukewarm and limp--miles away from their advertised golden standard. The Big Mac itself was sloppily assembled; the special sauce barely present, and the lettuce seemed to be escaping from every angle. It was fast food, yes, but lacked any semblance of care or freshness. It satisfied a hunger pang, but that's the only praise I can muster. You definitely don't get what you payed for and to be honest though this place opens up millions of job oppurtunities each year all around the world the results are catastrophic. Thanks to these guys millions of people if not billions of people are getting fatter and fatter . The employees here are friendly enough but it feels like maybe this is a location that they use for training because it doesn't run in sync like the other stores. If you have any customizations, they will mess up your order so order simply here. Also, forget ordering any fries well done, they are never served well done here. Overall average and worth the go because they do have some good days.
