I was looking for a new local coffee shop and this one popped up! It's a pretty cute place, and we decided to try a few drinks. We tried the: Cookie butter einspanner - a bit sweet and a little grainy from the cookie butter but tasty Macadamia whipped coffee - also sweet, seemed to have a chocolate syrup drizzled in, didn't taste much like macadamia nut, but it was delicious Mango pineapple refresher - sweet, fruity and sparkling Overall, the drinks all tasted pretty good but they were on the sweeter side. Places filled with good memories are always worth revisiting. I remember attending the Yelp Elite All-Star Party at Lee's Coffee back in February. At that time, they made a special Valentine's Day coffee, and the taste was absolutely amazing. Ever since then, I've been thinking I should come back. Since this café is quite far from my usual areas--Burbank, Glendale, and LA--and I've been very busy lately, I hadn't had a chance to return. But today, after getting a car wash nearby, I decided to drive about 20 minutes just to come here and enjoy their coffee again. Today, I ordered an Einspänner Latte--decaf, non-fat, and no ice--and they made it perfectly, exactly how I requested. The taste was truly incredible. If this place were closer, I would come here every single day. On top of that, the café is beautifully decorated--completely my style. It has a great vibe, a nice ambience, amazing coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and even a place to charge your phone. Lee's Coffee first caught my attention during a Yelp event, and since then, I've been back about four times which already says a lot. Right now, I'd solidly rate it 4 stars. First off, the menu is extensive. They have a ton of drink options, which can feel a little overwhelming at first but also fun if you're someone who likes variety. So far, I've tried a vanilla latte and keep going back to the upside-down rose latte (originally a Valentine's special, but thankfully still on the menu). It's honestly one of my favorite drinks here. They also have a punch card, which is a nice touch if you're a regular, always love a little reward system. Now for my only real critique: consistency. The very first time I had the upside-down rose latte, it was perfect; beautiful, vibrant, and clearly made with care. The flavor was balanced and rich. The next couple of times, though, it tasted a bit off more watered down, and even the color looked different (more pale pink instead of that rich coffee-meets-rose look). I did mention it once, and adjusting the milk helped a bit, but it's still been a little hit or miss. Not a dealbreaker, but something I hope gets dialed in. That said, where this place really shines is the ambiance and attention to detail. It's easily a 5-star vibe. From the heart-shaped straws to the fresh flowers, everything feels thoughtful, cute, and elevated. It's one of those spots that just makes you feel good being there. Service is always warm and welcoming the staff is consistently kind, and you can tell they care. Huge shoutout to the owner, Liama, for creating such a beautiful, woman-owned space. Overall, it's a great spot that I genuinely enjoy and keep coming back to. I'd love to branch out and try more of the menu (maybe even a coffee flight if they add one), and I'm definitely curious about their food next time. Don't be dissuaded by the modest exterior of the location; as soon as you enter you'll find a charmingly decorated and comfortable gathering place with a few shelves of knickknacks and apparel for sale, some packaged treats (like candy bars), and a case filled with baked pastries, some sweet, some savory, all looking very yummy. But the star of the show here is the vast menu of drinks with names like The Gabby, The Zee and The Moody, among dozens of others. They've got cold, they've got hot, they've got coffee and tea, matcha and refreshers, frappes and even "flights" of drinks that invite you to take your time, explore and introduce yourself to new flavors. My choice was a Valentine's weekend special: The Upsidedown Rose, an iced combination of Marshmallow Latte and Rose Foam. The sweetness of the marshmallow was a nice foil for the pleasant punch of fresh-brewed coffee. The Rose Foam may have been named more for its color than its flavor, as I didn't really detect any real taste of "rose," but that's perfectly fine -- in fact, since this is Valentine's Weekend, I'll say I loved it just the way it was. I didn't eat this time, but the selection of bites they have, including breakfast sandwiches and burritos, all sound excellent, and I'll be returning soon to try much of what they have to offer. This is a wonderfully planned and executed coffee shop with a terrifically friendly staff, and they deserve plenty of support. Omg yall I think I might have found my new favorite coffee shop! Okay, so this place is SO ADORABLE! It's definitely extremely feminine and aesthetic I LOVE the cozy vibe and there's plenty of seating. This is the perfect place for a date, to work solo, to take a few cute pics, etc. you can tell the owner really takes pride in this place and moves in EXCELLENCE. There's so many cute little details that are pleasing and only add to the already delightful atmosphere. They have an extensive menu with tons of options and reasonably priced food and drinks as well. A TON of options to choose from. A few gluten free options. (I had a warm muffin) Parking is free and plentiful. The drinks are AMAZING. I got the Lee's vanilla espresso. So goooood. I day that I stopped in was around the time that the students from across the street were getting out, so the place was jammed pack. They have a great menu filled with many drinks to choose from! As well as food too, and so far from what I've had its all been amazing! You will not be waiting forever for your order and they will get it right the first time, no matter how long it is. They are just so nice. The place is spotless and super cute. The drinks are a hefty price of around $8-- i opted for "The Jenny" which is a Honey caramel matcha with banana foam and cinnamon. it was a bit cinnamon heavy and the matcha flavor seemed more muted and more of the banana sweetness and milk taking the forefront of the taste. I absolutely adored the vibes in Lee's Coffee House. The decor is lovely and it's a great place to study with comfy seating and plenty of outlets. It was a little busy when I went so it took a minute to find a spot, but overall it was a good space to get some work done. I knocked a star off because the drinks were just okay, but the presentation was super cute and I loved the pink heart straws. As a long time coffee connoisseur.. Lee's Coffee House absolutely deserves a 5 star rating!! The ambience is super girlie and fun. The decor and chairs look expensive. Fresh roses on the counter. It's definitely a top tier shop without insane prices. My coffee was about $7 and only a dollar more for a large. That's a great price for an upscale fancy latte in LA in my opinion. I got the Zee latte and it was so delicious. My boyfriend got the brown sugar latte (I forget the name) and also the bacon egg and cheese. Sandwich is a little on the smaller side but tasted great. I will say the flavored lattes are definitely on the sweeter side, more like a decadent dessert drink. If you don't like sweet coffee the Zee probably wouldn't be for you. My whole order came out in less than 5 minutes. All the ladies working were so helpful, sweet, gorgeous, and fast!! After getting a chance to come here last week, I stopped by here this time for breakfast as it was a perfect spot for a quick snack in between my day!!! I wanted to get myself a breakfast sandwich and drink, and in total it costed me about $13 for those two items!!! I got the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich and did ask to switch out the hamburger brioche bun with a plain bagel, but they unfortunately couldn't carry out my request and said that it came like that. Which did make me wonder if the sandwiches here are prepackaged and just warmed up similarly to how Starbucks does it. The Lee's Special had delicious espresso and white mocha flavor, and was definitely and especially helpful on a rainy day. Tucked away in a local strip mall- once you step foot in the door- you are transformed into a paradise of all things chill & honestly- you'll feel like the ultimate girly pop. Got a round of drinks, including cold brew, matcha, espresso and tea. All drinks were made in a reasonable time and with care. Pros: - Selection (there are so many things to choose from- everyone will have something that meets their tastes.) - Vibes (it's so chill, quiet music, space to sit at the "bar", blankets, cozy seating), you'll groan when it's time to go. - Matcha is delicious. - SUGAR-FREE SWEETENER OPTIONS! Cons: - With such a large selection, menu can be overwhelming- give yourself some extra time to read through and understand what's going on there. - The pastries (around 5p, Saturday) were a bit stale, but with a couple of hkurs until close , it wouldn't make sense for new pastries to be stocked. Not absolute definites that would prevent a return visit. They even have cute drinks named after the employees of you want a quick guide on what they recommend. My daughter and I love exploring coffee shops near us, and she found Lee's without knowing I had been here before. Same location, but a completely different vibe, now better atmosphere, better drinks, better desserts. Everything is so good! It was a matcha and yap kinda day at Lee's coffee house with one of my girl friends. I got the salma with almond milk, it's a vanilla strawberry matcha with coconut creme. The matcha mixture was really good, definitely a must try! My friend got a latte and a croissant on the side. I saved Lee's special for the next day and had the cookie one the day of, and it gave me the energy boost I was looking for. I ordered an iced moody latte with strawberry foam (half sweet), and it was SO good--I could actually taste the coffee, which I love. Shoutout to our CM Maddy for trying this spot and leaving her review! Her review alone is what got me interested in trying this spot. Decided to come by this morning (Easter Sunday) before running some errands. Parking lot is a bit tight and small but we got lucky finding a spot. We were greeted by the sweetest ladies/staff! Salma was our cashier and she was super nice and helpful with their menu. The interior is super girly and absolutely cute!! They even have cute details like heart shaped pink straws. They have at least 4 menus of drinks to choose from so make sure to look at all of them!! From regular coffee, to signature drinks, to spring drinks and even barista favorites, there were so many pre-made drinks to choose from and I was all about it! We ordered The Sirush, Lee's Special, & Macadamia Whipped Coffee for our drinks to try and also a Brown Sugar Pop Pie. The drinks here are definitely on the sweeter side BUT still have the strong coffee I'm looking for. Super flavorful and delicious! Whipped coffee was a new one for us but it was great. I think my favorite out of all is their signature Lee's Special because it has that classic cinnamon latte flavor with a twist. Our drinks came out quick and after my second drink, Salma said to enjoy and I was a bit confused because we had a 3rd drink we were waiting on. After only waiting a few minutes, the baristas all asked if we were still waiting on something WHILE helping the line of customers, and there was a bit of misunderstanding and they thought I wanted to replace one of my drinks so it wasn't actually ordered. They took care of me right away and the 3rd and final drink came out super quick. I waited for the line to die down so I can pay for that last drink but Salma took care of it as an apology for the misunderstanding.
