Bright lights, 50's music, a wide mix of people sounds like a great party, but just an average night at the McDiner. If they only could fix the women's bathroom lock. Like actually put one in! One McDonalds is as good as the next.... well, I tend to disagree. There are things that set one apart from another. This one has ample parking (once the construction next door was finished), the soda fountain is not behind the counter (meaning easy free refills), and the ketchup is a pump dispenser (not a pile of ketchup packets). I used to live down the street from this McDonalds. I realize this is going to sound pathetic, but I eat McDonalds at least every other day, so I'd liked to consider myself somewhat of a golden arches connoisseur. This is not the prettiest or newiest McDonalds, but it has by FARRRR, the best food of any McDonalds I've ever been too. The nuggests are always cooked perfectly (not overcooked and dehydrated looking like some), the ice cream is DA BOMB (never icey like it is at other locations), french fries are always golden and salty. read more

This is strictly for my last visit, which was drive thru at around 5 and some change in the AM. Usually, you have to wait a while, not very long, but longer than you really want to when you have to be at work at 6. Like me, most of the time, the cashier is still waking up and less than energetic at that time. On this particular visit, we had a nice young lady who was full of energy and very friendly and smiles. Maybe she did a line or two before clocking in or maybe she had gone to the gym, but whatever it was, I really enjoyed the nice change in energy/mood levels of the cashier and felt well taken care of. read more

This McDonald's needs new management at the very least! Desiree Rodriguez is very unprofessional and talks to customers like they are about to be in a street fight in the hood. I have never seen such low class behavior from someone in management. On top of her embarrassing performance, this location never gives you the food in the driveway. They always make you pull over because they don't want their timers to show the correct time it takes their orders to get out. Then you get home to find out your whole order is always wrong. I went to this McDonald's last week and it was very nice how they decorated the restaurant. Many Christmas ornaments were hanging from the ceiling. I can definitely feel the holiday spirit. As far as the fountain drink bar there is sign posted saying you can only have 1 refill. So if you're a heavy cola drinker just be aware of this. These days after chowing down a Big Mac and large fries it's virtual impossible to limit yourself with just 1. One more thing McDonald's have a new breakfast item which is oatmeal with apples and raisins. Pass that to the curb. All they do is just pour a packet and add water and put preserved fruit and raisins on top. Why pay dollars for that when you can do that at home at fraction of the cost. Went to this Mc Donalds this past Sunday they were serving fries that were cold. When I went in spoke to an employee called Erika who was so rude instead of apologizing she said you will have to wait three minutes for new fries then after I waited and said the least you can do is give me an extra fries for the inconvenience she put one in a bag didn't realize till I got home that she only filled the free fries half way. Mickey D's is Mickey D's and this one often has a line throughout the day because its located on busy Huntington. I usually have no problems but please don't go here after midnight. I don't get why you stay open after hours if you can't keep the pace going. I mean the dining room is closed,there are only 3 people in drive thru,WTH is the hold up?! And I saw 3 people behind the counter,so 2 could be cooking/heating and one is at the window. Still shouldn't take that long. Also one guy was cleaning the dining room,put him at the damn grill/fry maker just to bust this line out. I pulled in this morning at near 1 am and ordered a smoothie. It took damn near 5 minutes to get my order. I was behind 2 cars and I could tell the guy in front of me was about to bust. This is the second time I've come here late at night and they always take hella long. The wait is similar to one of those diners/in and out that make it when you order it,which we all know MD does not EVER do that. I mean Wendys stay open till 3am and they are fast up until that time. If you can't be efficient after closing hours,maybe you shouldn't keep the place open 24 hours. I just get the vibe that the franchisee just said WTH lets just keep it open all night,and make for $$ with no real plan to execute it efficiently. read more

I have gone here for years but I'm wondering if it is under new management. Everything in sub-par here. Cashiers automatically upgrade to a larger drink without you asking. Happened twice before I caught on. I have filled out their surveys twice and asked for a response but have never received one. (When I had a complaint in the past the owner called me the next day to talk about my complaint.) The music in the evening is crazy-loud, so one has to shout to be heard. The asst, manager said it's that way so the help in the kitchen in the rear can hear it- what?!?! The place is dirty and the tables are all always covered with leftover food and dressing. When I ask if I can get a table cleaned off they only clean mine and leave the rest of the tables dirty. Last night, they had a leak at the soda fountain leaving a mini-lake and even though it was a slipping hazard and a customer told them about it they took a long time to address the problem. I told my wife if one was a con artist they could sue for a lot of money with a slip and fall claim. Even though I live near here I'm going elsewhere from now on. Really too bad. read more
