I made the mistake of coming to this McDonalds after past disappointments and again was disappointed with the service. We ordered using the app and chose table service and when we got into the restaurant we were prompted to enter the table number which we did. We chose table service because we're in our late 60s and it's not so easy to get around anymore. 15 minutes passed with no food so I walked up to the counter and found that our food was sitting there getting cold in a take out bag with the table number and the words DINE IN clearly printed on the receipt and the food was cold. We understand that some businesses can have bad days but the number of bad experiences at this restaurant make it a NEVER AGAIN. No more chances. read more

I opened the bun to find no hamburger patty on any of the sandwiches I took it back in and got a refund. I will never go back here again. The customer service is horrible, the staff is rude and even if you order one thing you get pulled to wait 10 minutes. This McDonald's is so hit or miss. It's never great or exceptional, just good at best. I don't know if they're short staffed or don't know how to run the place back there, but they can be SO SLOW at night. I've waited 15-20+ minutes in the drive thru before my order was even taken. Tonight we waited over 40 minutes in the drive thru and our order wasn't even taken yet, which was to just give the code for a mobile order. We just canceled the order and left. I get if they're short staffed or someone called out, I've worked at Chick-fil-A for multiple years and we still get orders out within 15 minutes when we're down 4 people. If it's the owner not staffing enough, an extra $15 an hour will significantly increase your sales and speed of service. This is anything but fast food. read more

Best one I've found recently I had just about written off McDonald's as a dining option because it takes forever just to place an order, get served and the order to be right. The new one on the West Side of Statesville is good but when I went there, the trainers were still there. This one has been around for a number of years but for me, it's a bit out of the way. Today I was in the area and even though I was pressed for time, I gave it a shot. A lot of traffic and crowded lot but they run this location like a well oiled machine. Double drive though. traffic moves well. From time of entering the row of traffic till I picked up my lunch was less than five minutes. And to top it off, the order was correct, the food was hot and except for the fries being a bit underdone, it was delicious. Good location in town for a quick in and out Saturday morning. Ample parking with matching dining room space - both of which are kept tidy despite the considerable traffic. McFood is what you expect and costs are about the same; nothing real exiting but never a major disappointment. I'm starting to develop a taste for the biscuit-sandwiches lately and not sure that's a good sign. Regardless, it's about once in five weeks for coffee and an egg sandwich. Not sure what's up with the coffee, the taste seems to have improved some but I couldn't tell you how exactly or when but I am pretty sure that it is getting better. Went to McDonald's today between 5:30-6:00 pm. A employee behind the drive through window person blurted out a curse word; particularly the F' word. It was random and scared not only my mom, but my eight year old niece. Also no napkins and they asked what sauce we would like for nuggets, but we didn't get those either. So me, my mom and my niece heard someone burst out yelling "WTF", we didn't get napkins and any sauce. The food was there at least one greasy and was warm. This a copy of complaint I recently filed with McDonald's. I am not sure exactly what happened that contaminated The burger. I would hate to think it was deliberate! No one could know what happened or the conditions that led to this incident. Complaint: "Easter Sunday I drove through drive thru. I ordered a double quarter cheese meal and mcdouble plain. They then prompted me to pull forward to wait for fries. There was no one else in line at time so I refused. Once getting home I took two bites of Double Quarter pounder then opened to take onions off. I noticed as it had pile of onions. About 4 times normal amount. When I removed Onions I noticed dirt lint and other debris. This had been covered up by the onions. If I had not removed the onions I would have never seen the debris that the onions were covering. I called the local McDonald's and was furious. She tried to explain it away. In reality there are only 2 reasons for this. It was either purposely sabotaged, or the McDonalds is filthy. Sometime later we saw a girl in the store going through a bag that was probably ours. The girl came out and gave the bag to the wrong car. The recipient took the bag back inside, so the same girl took the bag to a second car (not ours). They refused it after going through the bag. Finally, the bag was brought to us. We told them we didn't want a bag that had been gone through by three different people. She went back inside. After waiting a bit we drove off. It wasn't worth it. Who know. I have no complaints when I go early in the morning or for lunch. I love the crew that works during that time frame. Plus they're super efficient. However, going anytime after 4 is a freaking nightmare! Night shift clearly doesn't care about their work ethics or customers. I took my aunt there for dinner and we sat and waited for 40 mins for food. I went up a couple of different times to ask how much longer. All the employees were either goofing off or casually "chillin" in the drive thru. Not one employee who looked at me asked if I needed help. When my food was brought out they didn't give us our fries. I then went up again for the third time and the young lady nearest to the counter turned toward me, rolled her eyes, then turned her back to me. The manager noticed and asked if they could help me. I explained I was missing two large fries. She apologized and said she would bring out fresh ones when they were done.
