The kitchen completely missed the FIFA collectible cup that I paid for in my curbside order. I had to waste over 30 minutes of my time driving all the way back just to get what belonged to me. Instead of fixing their own mistake, the staff treated me with extreme rudeness, interrogated me with endless questions, and acted incredibly careless--as if they couldn't care less about their error. To make matters worse, they finally handed over the item with absolute reluctance, and not a single employee or manager offered an apology. They clearly do not value their customers' time or money. I have been going here regularly for years and never had an issue. The employees are always very friendly and the food is usually up to par. Yesterday I went by and ordered two double cheeseburgers and a large fry. When I got home I tried to eat my food but the fries were all small, hard, and oily like it was the end of the batch. I never return food but today I was really hungry and there were no deals in the app so I had to pay full price as well which is not cheap. I'm already very nervous about asking for food to be remade and avoid it at all costs but my fries were inedible. Since I live about 15 minutes away from the store, driving home and back had made my burgers ice cold and also inedible. I explained all of this in the nicest way possible and asked if they could remake it for me, the employee who was helping me called her manager over and the he just started aggressively arguing with her in Spanish right in front of me. It went on for an uncomfortably long time to the point where I felt the need to explain myself again to the manager (who never looked at me or acknowledged my existence by the way) then the original employee told me something along the line of "he doesn't understand that not everybody lives close by and he won't make new ones because it's been 30 minutes" they argued back and forth for a few more minutes in Spanish and then he angrily grabbed my bag and stomped towards the back without ever acknowledging me. At this point I was so anxious and confused I started saying sorry and that I come here all the time I've never had a problem I tried to eat the food etc. just defending myself because I was confused at the whole interaction. The employee said "no you don't need to be anxious he's just been like this with me all day". The manager here is a real piece of work. I couldn't have been nicer and was a long time regular who enjoyed this place. Now it's soured and I won't be going back. I actually left in tears because of how rude he was to me. When I got home the food was somehow even worse than before. The fries were weirdly stale like he pulled them from the back of the warmer or something and the burgers were burnt to a crisp. Why review a McDonald's? They're all terrible, right? I was pleasantly surprised that my curbside service was delivered with an enthusiastic smile, and a post-it on the bag instructed me call JP if I had a problem, prominently showing the phone number. Well, I had no problems. The hash browns were perfectly cooked and the sausage and egg McMuffin perfectly assembled and wrapped. So I thought I'd text the number to thank him, to see if he also took texts as well as phone calls. He replied, and thanked me for the feedback. So, as of June 2025 at least, this McDonald's is well managed and does a great job, and wants to do a great job. Bonus: huge parking lot. read more

I did not think I would ever review McDonalds, but I had a quick and pleasant experience here today. There are days when you want a cheap meal and McD's was it. I went for their value menu items, literally my go-to when I was a kid. I got the McChicken Sandwich and a small fries. They have a promo going on right now for their value menu (Buy One Get One $1). Thanks to the worker who went over the promo. I also got a medium unsweetened ice tea. Meal today cost around $7! Not too bad! Although, I do miss when the McChicken used to be $1, now it's $3.99. However, it's still cheaper than getting a combo meal of the premium style sandwiches / burgers. Also, had service with a smile! I got my food literally within a minute after ordering! I went to McDonald's this morning expecting to pay $8.49 plus tax for the sausage McMuffin meal #2 pictured on their display. I was asked what I want to drink and in the picture it showed orange juice with the sandwich and hash browns so that's what I asked for, as I already had my coffee. Imagine my surprise when I was charged an extra dollar and $0.80 for the orange juice! The BTS meal isn't something super special - they had a special sweet chili sauce and cajun sauce and I thought the cajun sauce went the best with the chicken nuggets in my opinion. I've had raging diarrhea even taking medicine after eating at I believe this location over a week ago. I assume I was unintentionally poisoned by them not on purpose. This location seemed really weird and I got sick right after I think this had to have been the cause. And I just haven't recovered it's like whatever happened damaged me internally. Fast reliable food and prompt service. This McDonald's is slightly off the beaten path and in a nice neighborhood. I count this as one of the better Mickey D's. The staff are very nice so I'm not sure what that one-review-"Toby" profile is going on about. Workers in the drive-thru are very courteous, efficient and pleasant. The one small aspect that's not quite perfect is the final window where you pick up the food: it is way high up. Like, only lifted trucks or big SUVs would be same level, window-wise, to comfortably receive the orders. If you're rolling in a smaller vehicle, have to reach waaay up and far out of the window to get your bags. McDonald's is not on a main thorough-fare, but you can sort of see it from El Camino Real. Reliable fast food, without the horrid drive-through lines (i.e. I-n-O). Extra star for great service. read more

check your order before leaving the premises because if you arrive home and you realize that they gave you a regular hamburger with ketchup and bread only. If you are going to complain because that is not what you asked for, the manager will tell you with freshness that it happens and if you want they will refund your money or give you the hamburger. What he does not tell you is that it refund the money for the hamburger, not the meal you bought. They don't want to give you back the receipt so you don't do the McDonald's survey.
