Compared to other Mcdonald's near me this one is the one that my family always resorts to because of their customer service. They are super helpful and almost always get our order correct. When asked for condiments or other extras they are helpful in assisting us and our needs. The only improvement I would suggest is to improve the interaction with customers as they are really speedy in the drive-thru, which is understandable but it would be kind to have them take their time. read more

I work late hours at an urgent care vet in Palo Alto; The night team at this McDonald's is always on point! I got off late and wanted to go straight home, so I decided to stop at a different McDonald's that was on my way home for dinner. I ended up needing to go to this McDonald's to get the rest of my order as the McDonald's I originally went didn't give me half my order. The food is always hot, fresh, and made to order. They make the best Double Quarter with Cheese and have the best, hottest french fries. I will definitely go out of my way to this specific McDonald's whenever I have a taste for it! read more

Did drive up order. Lunch time so long line. Nobody was getting their order. Told to park at numbered space and order would be brought out. 15 minutes later, the 4 cars parked before me finally got their orders. Another 15 minutes and the 4 cars that had ordered and were behind me finally got their orders brought out to them. I still had not received my order. Got out of car and went inside. This location was easy to get to and was chosen since no other restaurants were open. I need to mention that the food was great and so was the drink but the dining area was a mess. There were only two tables that were clean, so my wife and I chose one of them. I will add that there were some really weird looking people in there who looked as if though that had been there all day and night, trying to stay warm and possibly free refills on their drinks. How do you rate a McDonald's? I'm going 4 stars on this one for the following reasons: 1. Fries are always hot and fresh. 2. They have never gotten my order wrong at the drive through. 3. Staff always smile and greet you warmly. Short and to the point but it is McDonald's, the food generally doesn't change but the service certainly can. Today, along with a number of fans (and I mean the number) waited in line... for our Schezwan Sauce. Well, you can only imagine the horror of finding out that they never had the sauce to begin with. I thought it extremely strange that only one person came out with a poster, but surely they had the sauce... At one point my fellow line waiters and I est how many McDonald's logistics department probably sent to this restaurant based on local demographics and show viewers...We might have overestimated the care McDonald's would throw towards this endeavor by ... a lot. I'm a bit upset with this location as they: 1) Didn't care about line safety (there was nobody helping with the line - to make sure that we weren't in the street.) 2) they didn't even come out to tell all of us of the situation - instead basically had to figure this out once we got to the front door. read more

Ordered two egg McMuffins for the buy one get one for $1 more deal and the manager suggested we add on an egg. It ended up more than doubling the price from $3 to $7 due to invalidating the deal. We didn't notice at time since we had ordered other items as well. The manager intentionally tricked us and I felt it was dishonest. YAY...fast food at its finest. I remember when I worked at McDonald's when I was in high school, but it wasn't at this location. There's so much grease flying through the air in the back that when I quit after 2 years, my skin cleared right up. Was it puberty or McDonald's? I will never know. Occasionally, I would come to this McDonald's when I want something quick to hold down my hunger. I came here this afternoon around 3pm and ordered a few items. I got a hamburger happy meal with a sprite, and a quarter pound meal with a Mr. Pibb. The total bill came to $8.61. My gosh how prices have changed. I remember when I worked at Micky D's all meal deals were about $2.99 and the selection was still plenty. Now there's angus burgers, better salad choices, specialty espresso and coffee drinks, and more desserts. Times have definitely changed for the better. I guess whenever I think of Mickey D's no one ever thinks health conscience. If you're ever in the Los Altos/Mountain View area, check this location out. It's one of the newer renovated ones with nicer seating areas and free wifi. They still have some $1 food items and mini meals are still very affordable. Cheers! read more

I went here this past weekend during my lunch break (from class) and received the standard quick and friendly service. But I want to emphasize the inside... It has sectioned off areas to eat. One area has a large flat-screen HDTV where I watched TV. Another area looks like a study lounge where people were on their laptops (there's free Wi-Fi), and it reminded me of Starbucks. There are different seating arrangements from your standard chairs/table to bar style seating to circular table booths. The interior design reminds me of an Asian fusion restaurant. I guess it's fitting since it serves customers from hi-tech corporate giants in the area like Google. Because of the unique interior, I'd go here to study or get some work done rather than eat fast food. read more

I recently stopped in here and had breakfast. You know your standard Mickey D's which is nothing out of the ordinary. What I found really distrubing at this McDonald's are the two different men that I saw gawking at a young child dining with her father. I say this because what I witness was not normal everyday looking/glancing at someone. Being the person that I am, after seeing that I went and sat down in the area where the child & her father were sitting and kept an eye on the friggin freak and was ready at the drop of a hat to alert the father. It took sometime for the guy to notice my stares which projected 'i see you'. Finally after about 5 long direct eye contacts with that guy he started paying attention to his meal when I noticed another freak leaning and gawking from behind the first freak. Long story short, my recent experience here tells me that parents need to really watch their children when they are at this McDonald's. So parents look around and keep your eyes sharp because the morning that I was here this place had at least two what appeared to me to be predators! read more

My favorite stop in the morning to grab a large coffee! ok and a hash brown too. The morning drive thru is usually quick. It's in a weird intersection so you may have troubles finding the entrance to the drive thru. The food and coffee are usually hot and fresh. Rarely do I get a gritty cold bottom of the barrel cup of coffee. Nice place to drive on through. There's no need to go inside. read more

It's McDonald's but a highfalutin McDonald's in a little fancy area of Mountain View. Anyone who feeds me when I am absolutely starving at 6AM when there are no 24 hour diners to be found will get an extra star. I walked it at 6:04AM and was eating a hot and fresh Egg McMuffin by 6:05AM. The woman who took my order was very pleasant but for the first 30 seconds of standing there, at least 3 employees looked at me like I didn't exist. Three dollars and three minutes later, I didn't care. But man, has the coffee at McD's gone down high or what? It seems that any one that has the McCafe stuff has terrible American coffee. This review is based on other South Bay Micky-Ds and only drive throughs. Pros - They've never messed up an order. Money takers and the food-hand-er-out-ers all are nice. Ask if I want ketchup, etc. etc. So-Sos The drive through line can back up on to the street at rush hour. Way to mess up EVERY item in my order and be rude. The girl at the drive through window kept commenting loudly to the other employees that she didn't have a clue what was going on. After handing me my bag of food and ice coffee she continued to comment that she didn't know which drink went to which order. I patiently waited for a minute for my soda, the whole time she didn't look at me or bother to ask what I was waiting for, during that time she was asking all the other employees who it belonged to. They told her it was mine and she still didn't give it to me, the other employees told her to ask if it was mine (what a concept) at which point she asked in a tone of annoyance. I said yes and thanked her and we were on our way. I understand that she was a little lost but instead of complaining about it and ignoring me she could have in the very least apologized and explained the situation. I would have been more understanding. As we were driving away we had some fries and they were super overdone and crispy. O well it happens some times. Then I realized they they charged and gave me premium wraps instead of my snack wraps, that has happened to me before and I always am very sure to clearly say "snack" wrap, I know I said it. I take a sip of my ice coffee. RIDICULOUSLY sweet. I've had their ice coffee before, I know how sweet it is supposed to be. So I can't eat fries, cant drink my ice coffee and can't eat my snack wraps (the premium ones have tomatoes and pickles. I can't eat anything that's touched them). In terms of McDonald's this place might be one of the best ones I've ever been to. The food is good and the service is very pleasant. But most importantly They had a program where you could get four McDoubles for 5 bucks or 2 filet o fish sandwiches for the same price. Seriously that was the highlight of my high school life and this McDonald's really deserves a special shoutout because they're actually much better than your average McDonald's. The employees truly embody the original McDonald's vision, they always carry and upbeat attitude and friendly demeanor. Wifi is mixed bag, sometimes fast and sometimes super slow. There are 3 plugs/outlets but on weekends, good luck getting access to one. Service is okay and parking is generally good, except busy times like weekend or lunchtime, etc. read more
