Went here for a quick lunch. The place is small, so during the rush hour (when I ate here) expect no moving room at the font counter. The Prices are a bit more then what we have in Hillsboro, Oregon, but your on the coast so expect higher prices. Plus I think this may be a corporate store, rather a franchise one like the Hillsboro ones are. The Food tasted ok. I mean, its McDonalds. The Angus Deluxe was very bland, like they didn't put enough mayo on it. I had to ask a mananger for some and he pointed me in the direction of the cashier. You mean to tell me YOU can't serve a paying customer? That is your job isn't? They also charge 25 cents for mac sauce when in Hillsboro its free. Another issue was the Cashier didn't give us our cups till AFTER we got our food. Every other Mcdonalds I've been to (in any location) they pull out the cup right when they ring the order up. read more

I was feeling a little fancy the other day and decided to treat myself to some gourmet McDonald's. To my surprise their was nobody in line to order, talk about lucky! I ordered my usual, a kids meal and a large Dr. Pepper, however I was turned down my request due to being "too old". Talk about rude! They said I needed to have a kid with me to order a kids meal (something that has never happened to me before), so i reluctantly ordered a Big Mac and sat down at a table to eat. That's when I noticed it, the giant playroom! I just couldn't resist, I knew I had to check that bad-boy out. I walked in the room and I was amazed by the architectural wonder that stood before me. Tunnels upon tunnels upon tunnels, I had to know what it felt like to traverse these cylindrical tubes of wonder. I spent what felt like hours crawling through the plastic tubes, having the time of my life. I was awakened from my trance by the sound of an employee shouting something at me. I looked through one of the holes in the tubes to see a McDonald's Worker telling me that I needed to leave. I crawled out of the tunnel and tried to explain the joy I was experiencing, but she wouldn't have it. I left McDonald's after having the time of my life, yet feeling a little disrespected. I live here in Beautiful Newport, Oregon. This McDonalds does NOT follow the national specials. They will run them, but only for a few days. The only thing I enjoy at McDonalds is the Big Mac & it's only for the sauce. This store uses so little Mac sauce that it's hard to discern that you're even eating a B.M. Just went again today & ordered my B.M.'s. I told the cashier that I wanted enough sauce so I know I'm eating a B.M. He say's, so you want extra sauce? I replied, I guess, I just want the amount that should be on there. He rings it up & it's like $1.60 or $1.80 extra. I asked why the extra $$, he replied, for the extra sauce. I told him I was not paying for what is suppose to be an integral part of this sandwich, please fix it. He removed the extra charge, I thanked him & went home. When I opened the package there was, once again, waaaay too little BM sauce. What kind of cheapskate alienates customers for a nickels worth of sauce. TRADE MARK SAUCE!!! Love the Newport Mcdonalds. Mainstay here for a very long time. Its kept very clean, reasonable prices love there Coffee. The Food is always very delicious. Staff always smiling and making you feel at home. only thing there new leaderboard with Menu goes too fast so cant see what to order. Terrible experience at this location. Firstly, the credit/debit card machine was inoperable at the time, a mild annoyance, however I had some extra cash so no big deal. My order was not correct and when I asked for them to correct my order I was asked to make an additional payment. When I complained about the inability to accurately complete an order I was asked to leave without getting my order corrected. The manager was very pompous with an undeserved sense of superiority. This sort of disregard to customer service is absolutely deplorable. I love McDonald's, the quality and consistency of the food, friendliness and care for customers has always been exemplary. We've been going to this Macdonald's regularly for a few years. over the past year the service has gone way down. They consistently get the drivethru orders wrong. The last time we were there was in March. They messed up our order, nothing complicated just 4 bacon chicken sandwiches. we got home and 3 were chipotle something or other. I tried calling to complain but the line was busy for my whole lunch hour. I completed the survey on the receipt and earlier this week the manager called and apologized. I went back today and lo and behold, I ordered a bacon chicken club and when I got home it was not what I ordered. There was no one behind me in the drive thru, the lunch rush was over, no excuse. I called and the lady apologized again but I made it clear I would not be going back. They have one job to do and fail. read more
