The store on Hwy 41 in North Port, Florida, has the WORST crew in the entire nation! Typically they get orders wrong. It's not unusual be told at the drive thru they can't make milk shakes, or they can't do deep fry items like fish sandwiches. Tonight, at 8:30, I was told they don't HAVE any coffee. WORST McDonalds in the state, and their alternate at Sumter and Price is a close second. I've paid for two coffees there and received nothing for one reason or another. Who ever owns those two needs to be investigated. read more

I've had I t with McDonalds. Unless you order your food "cooked to order" or in other words, made fresh while you wait, it won't be good. Went there yesterday, and the fries were barely warm and CRUNCHY. Like they'd been sitting for an hour, drying out under a heat lamp. When I was a kid, McD was good. You could get a decent meal and the prices were fair. Now, it's almost impossible to get a meal for two under $20, and the food is inedible imo. How could they let things get so so bad? But then I stopped and I just don't know why I looked at the bottom and I saw some brownish black stuff. McDonald's tracks the speed of service in their drive-thru. This location falsely keeps their numbers up by asking you to pull forward so they can go on to the next order. Appearing that they are keeping up when they are not. It shouldn't take 10-15 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich and hash brown. Also, I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with their ice cream machine. Every single McDonald's I go to claims it isn't working. This just tells me no one wants to deal with the maintenance and cleanup of the machine. There is no possible way that EVERY LOCATION has troubles with their machine. So next time they ask you to "pull forward" maybe don't. Or contact headquarters to let them know. That's what I am doing. read more

Normally,I am very pleased with this location at Sumter and W Price Blvd in North Port. Today, not so much! No place to park. They took away some parking up front (3 spaces) so people who are waiting for their drive-thru orders can pull up. That would have been 3 spaces for people so they didn't HAVE to go thru drive-thru!!! Also, they now have "curb side waiting" so you can call your order in and it will be ready. FOOD: ordered their new "juicier" quarter pounder with cheese....it was NOT juicy at all, dry and the bun was stale. This was just after noon time. I waited 10 minutes in line for this!!!! A real waste of gas. I know that employees are parking in the lot where customers should be. I have seen them during the times that I go inside to eat. read more

If you can't manage to get my iced coffee order right when I am the only one in drive thru and the parking lot is practically empty, just go home. The whole offer contained two iced coffees and she couldn't manage to get it right and had to tell us to pull up to the window to give our order to someone else. Wow. Stopped off on our way back from Clearwater to down south Florida to get a quick bite after a long day of beach soccer I went to the ladies room and to my surprise it was filthy toilet paper al over the floor, in the sink, urine the sink, a drink let on the changing table (per pics) the bathroom definitely needs attention.The front of the restaurant needed attention, pales laying around on the tables and floors and the counter where the drinks are the ketchup dispenser was over flowed the trash was spilling out, it wasn't for lack of employees they had about 4 workers behind the counter and they were pretty empty. I don't know if this is a tourist area where they get busy or not. I don't eat at fast food restaurants a lot but when I do I would like for my restaurant to be clean. Other than that the food was perfect, I ask for my chicken snack wrap to be grilled chicken and lettuce only and it came out as that most McDonald's can't seem to ge that simple order correct they still seem to put the ranch dressing on and the other stuff included and I have to send it back, god came out quick and hot! With the economy the way it is you would think businesses would put their best people where it counts the most, the interface with the customer. This McDonald's used to be good until March of this year (2020). Many of the employees are downright rude. One woman on evening shift is terrible. I mean she is rude beyond belief. There are others on evening shift who are also rude. My wife and I went there this morning and the rudeness and bad attitude have migrated to the day shift. I'm getting attitude from them now, too. There are management issues at this location. I never experienced rude employees and bad attitudes from any McDonald's, but it is remarkably bad at this location on Tamiami in North Port. The girl at the window hands me my 2 chocolate shakes and says "We're waiting on your fries. " I give her a strange look and she asks " What's wrong?" I said "You handed me milkshakes and said you were waiting on my fries to cook." She say " We always give the drink first. " I said " The milkshake will be chocolate milk by the time I get home especially after waiting for fries to cook. " She says" Well you can give them back." Now one would think they would have been put in a cooler or remade, well that didn't happen she sat them on the counter went over to a booth and was clearly trash talking me by the looks and hand motions. I worked here several years ago, and was so unhappy with the experience that I quit nearly immediately afterward. My newest job values my efforts, and my performance at said job reflects their expressed appreciation. This McDonald's illegally requires its opening employees, which usually consists of a singular person doing the job that really necessitates two or more, to arrive and begin working around 3am, though they are not allowed to clock in until between 4:30am and 5:00am. Likewise, the manager named Tina makes the workplace environment inhospitable and outright hostile, and often personally berates and insults her employees for being unable to do both their duties AND hers. Don't give this place your business if you can help it; the other McDonald's over on Front Place is much kinder to its employees, and therefore has better morale to better serve you. read more

We have a house here in North Port and also have a home in Maine. This has to be our fav Mc D's ever, they are always friendly and fast. Our daughter can't have cheese they make her breakfast burritos w no cheese no problem and they are always hot and fresh. Other mc' D's will tell us no sorry we can't do that they are Pre made.
