Convenient but dumpy location just W of the SeaBus terminal entrance by Lonsdale Quay. Parking here is horrendous. Can't help too much here. The place is freaking tiny. Honestly it looks like the layout was an afterthought. The counter area is way too small, especially with the automated booths taking up much of the waiting room. Seating is available but limited. The tables were all sticky and covered with stuff - staff don't quite check enough. Best to grab takeout from this location. Oh yeah, the nice large windows face W, so one gets a pile of sun in one's face in the afternoons. My burger was tasty. read more

I see there are a ton of negative reviews on this place on google reviews and on yelp about rude staff and food mishaps but luckily i didnt experience that on my visit. if you're ordering a super simple quick order at the counter like just an ice cream cone and doing take out, it might be fine. Came here because an app coupon appeared for a $1 vanilla cone. I ordered in person at the counter and I waited there for about 30 seconds before somebody noticed me and took my order. There are no "interesting" people hanging around inside or outside around the restaurant which is a plus. As a transit user, its in a convenient location actually beside the seabus station entrance. You can't miss it. The ice cream machine isn't "broken" here which is a plus. For the first time ever, my food, an vanilla ice cream cone, was ready before I finished paying with my card at the counter. Usually i have to wait at least 2-3 minutes for my cone after my order at my usual location. I was in and out of McDonalds with my cone within minutes. I didn't use the dining area this time and ate my ice cream outside. As for the food, Mcdonald's vanilla cone is a cheap and a cool refreshing snack on a hot summer day. If you are too desperately starving to survive the trek into Lonsdale Quay Market for real food, this is an acceptable place to go for the next best thing. Despite being in a fairly high-end area, there are video surveillance monitors positioned in the dining room to remind you that you are being monitored. Presumably to discourage anyone from committing any of the most heinous acts that once can commit in a McDonald's dining room. The soda fountain doesn't dispense sparkling water, like some locations do. read more

Came here with a buddy of mine the other day because he had a coupon and this place is just like any other McDonald's, there is nothing special to really say about it. If you been to one, you've been to all of them. The cashier were nice, the place was clean enough (although the unsettling thing was the washroom needed cleaning, which makes me wonder what the cleanliness of the kitchen is like). I ordered a fillet o fish that came with a side of fries and a regular drink. It was a pretty tasty early lunch and a pretty standard McDonald's food. Since we had a coupon, the total was around $12 for the both of us after taxes, so it wasn't really all that expensive. The one only good thing about this location is that it's right beside the seabus that can take you to the downtown location and one of the two North Vancouver bus loops. Anyways, this place is an okay place to go to if you needed a place to get a quick bite. read more

Not the best McDonald's location but it's the only place that's open late night in the hood. I also decided that calories doesn't matter tonight. So I got poutine and apple pie. I rarely have McDonald's so this is one of the rare occasions I kind of just wanted to splurge. Just before ordering poutine, I asked the cashier if they have a fresh batch of fries in which she replied yes. I don't really take her word for it but wth I was hungry. Got my poutine. It was half okay and half tasted like plastic. Artificial tasting gravy was sitting on top of my fries. My baked apple pie was a disappointment. A hint of cinnamon but barely any apple. It was also a bit dry given that it was baked fresh this morning sitting on a warmer up until I had it in my mouth. It sucked. read more

My wife and I have been frequenting the McDonald's at 157 Chadwick Court, and other locations in North Vancouver since we moved here in 2012 from Calgary, since that time, we have spent a small fortune at these locations owned and operated by Jim,Pike Ltd. It is fair to say we have seen,observed and witnessed many things at the 157 Chadwick Court Location (Lonsdale Quay- North Vancouver) location over the years. More recently, I was in this location one morning on my way to work, and the manager serving me, got my order wrong. The receipt was correct, and the sticker was correct,but what her employee gave me was wrong, the manager argued with me and was speaking to her subordinate about me in her native tonge and not english, very unprofessional. I filed the complaint using McDonald's survey on the receipt. I was in the same McDonald's another morning(Wednesday) with my wife and a colleague and friend, I went to use the men's bathroom( stall) and |I lifted the seat, and discovered feces all over the back of the toilet, I reported the situation to staff and they acknowedged that someoneone would look into it, I also filed that complaint using the surevey on the receipt . I was in the McDonald's on Friday, buying lunch, I went into bathroom, went into the stall, lifted the toilet seat and the feces was still there two days later.. I spoke to staff, and I told them that it had not been dealt with and that if Health Canada saw this they could be shut down.. I was in McDonald's today with my wife and and a colleague, about to order dinner when one of the staff members came up to our table and tole me the owner banned me from his restaurant.. Since when, does an owner get to abuse his franchisee licence agreement and ban someone who is exercisng their right to complaing about poor customer service and uncleanliness in their retaurant? This is unjustifiedand unwarranted blatant unprofessionalism and absuse of their franchise license and operator agreement.. I have photos, and Jim,Pike Ltd hsd both offended myself, my wife and my colleague, and I've informed my friends and colleagues of the situation and they plant to boycott Jim pIke's McDonald's give him as much bad PR as possible... read more

I love the strategic placement of places like McDonald's. If you plan to take the Sea-Bus out to North Vancouver, and once you get to the terminal, on the left hand side right when you exit is this masterpiece of a place. You don't realize how big this McD's is, until you enter, and you realize that this place has some great real-estate. So whether your entering or exiting the Sea-Bus, you can always get your first, or last meal out on the water here. Now if they renovated this place to look like all the other 'chic' McD's in the city, then it would be a hangout! read more

This morning I came in for a quick bite (first mcdonalds in over 3 years I'd say). I've gotta say how very disappointing today has been. When I singularly approached the quiet counter at breakfast I stated that I had an egg allergy so it seemed pretty limited. I decided to get a BLT combo. It was only after a few bites did I discover that it had mayo slathered all over (mayo=egg). I know mistakes can be made but had my egg allergy been more severe than it was, I may have had to goto the hospital instead of work. I've worked at mcdonalds and know that at least where I worked, when I worked there, that standards were set high for counter staff. I expect more from a manager. When I approached the counter to calmly state that it seemed obvious to me that if someone states they have an egg allergy, that she should pipe up an say something. She offered reluctantly and flippantly to replace the half eaten sandwich with a non-mayo one which it seemed a waste and too late to do. Sigh Boo read more

Me and my friends came here to get ice cream and food. I had finished my ice cream and was consistently nagged by one of the managers to leave the McDonald's when my friends were still eating. I wasn't doing anything wrong and he claimed there was people waiting for tables, however when I checked to see, there was nobody ordering food. The guys name tag said Cameron B. I felt quite attacked and would recommend. There are many other great restaurants around the quay. Horrible customer service. Needs to be dealt with immediately. read more

Solid 3.5 stars, a classic, could be Expo days I'm guessing from the exterior. A lot bigger than it looks, lots of seating in the back. been handy for those late nites when I'm here in Lonsdale, open 24hours. good view too. Quite convenient for the commutes at the loop and the Seabus. read more

Yikes... I live in the area and use to get the odd junior chicken and small fry here on my way to or from the seabus. That all ended on my last visit as I spotted a cockroach skirting across the counter where the ketchup, fountain pop and napkins are. I am so grossed out that I couldn't even manage to go in during free coffee week. Until I see this place closed for "renovations" I'll take a pass. read more
