My husband and I went to McDonald's to cool off after going to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. I ordered an Oreo McFlurry and my husband got an iced French vanilla coffee. The service here is fast!!! Our friend got his drink before we could finish ordering. The food came out as expected. I love the decorations throughout the restaurant. There were even flowers in the men's room. Solid McDonalds choice in the area. Plenty of parking and a fairly large and well decorated dining area. The service using the kiosks was friendly and surprisingly quick in preparing our food. Food came out as expected in terms of temperature and flavor, fairly consistent with what I expect out of a McDonalds. read more

Went to McDonald's for a McFlurry. They had a promotion bon their app for their new flavor Caramel Brownie with their vanilla soft serve. It was simply awesome! The texture of the brownies were.maintained and the caramel was perfect with the vanilla Mc D's soft serve. Only issue I had was the staff ignoring me or even running into me as I was awaiting acknowledgement for my order. They dont have in-room dining open so they must not want customers hanging out or have forgotten customer service with a smile (indoors at least). Guess they don't really expect to have people stand and order anymore since they have the kiosks for ordering. The drive thru is super busy - always occupied. But I'd prefer to do curbside with their app. Once you're there, just indicate which number slot you're parked at and they'll rush out your order with a smile. So if you want a positive experience, you should not expect to interact with a human for ordering anyway. read more

I never ordered online within the resturant so I pressed the incorrect button. Because of this, it used up my deal so I was unable to redo the order. I went up to the cashier waiting for someone to take my order. The one working going in and out of the kitchen didn't acknowledge me whatsoever. When he was ready to take my order, I explained my frustration with the app and that I'd like to get the 2 for $3 deal of the spicy mcchicken. I was charged full price for two. I waited approximately ~7 minutes for my food. Had to get up from where I was sitting to get it. Both my mcchicken did not have extra mayonnaise when I asked up front. Food is dry. We were passing nearby and needed a quick breakfast. The parking lot was very easy to drive in and out of, very roomy. We went through the drive-thru and got our food quickly, except had to wait a few minutes for more hash browns to be made. Take away the smell of fried food, and the occasional hustle and bustle, and you'll find yourself a solid cozy place to work with great WiFi. I know it sounds weird, but I just discovered the remodel of this restaurant when I randomly decided to go in and pick up breakfast for my boys. What a beautiful space with great lighting. I was so enticed by the calm environment, that I decided to stop back in a couple days later to make it my office for a couple of hours. Aside from the new Colombian coffee that I don't like (I used to love their coffee), the mornings seem pretty nice and quiet. They have a nice variety of sweet rolls and pastries to choose from, and if you're not a coffee fan, there's always a solid iced tea. Great comfy seating. I'll be back to work for sure! read more

The breakfast crew is great. But, don't be surprised if you get sloppily constructed burgers toward evening. Not really sure what's so complicated about a deluxe quarter pounder w/o cheese, yet it does seem to present a challenge. Needless to say, I avoid this place after sundown, from now on. This place is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Living in the area I have never been so offended by the manager Jose, and hIs horrible customer service skills should be addressed. This person was completely rude, disrespectful and obnoxious when trying to get information to report his behavior and mannerisms. When we advised him of the issue he just responded, want your money and you can leave. Even sent us to Burger King, which was down the street. Not sure McDonald's would like this kind of behavior. The staff does a very poor job maintaining the restaurant, which is quite filthy. The waste bins were overflowing and flies were a constant nuisance near the garbage, drink station, and around the tables. Tables were not being cleaned properly after customers were done using them; at least a few tables were dirty and remained uncleaned for the 15 to 20 minutes I was inside the restaurant. Aside from the poor cleanliness, the food and service were standard for McDonalds. read more

My friend and I have consistently gone to this location over the past year and a half. Since my friend is autistic he will order, so as to work on/improve his life skills. He knows his order, can give it correctly, we see that the order has been taken correctly as the receipt is accurate to what he ordered. The reason for the one star review however is that in the past year and a half I can count on one hand the number of times we haven't had to return to the drive thru, as either his food was made wrong, or items were missing. I understand mistakes are made, and we are nothing but polite when we ask for our orders to be fixed, as it is part of his life skills to do so. The issue is at this point where we have come the same day and time for over a year, see and talk to the same employees each time, it is beginning to feel as thought it is done on purpose, whether it is a lack of training or awareness among employees, I don't know. I have even tried to speak with the manager to discuss my concerns, but they were not open to any suggestions or criticism. I am making this review so that other people with disabilities are aware of the treatment that can be expected at this location. read more

8pm, plenty of staff, place is empty. This location does not live up to the expectations one would have from a newer, suburban McD's. It was filthy. First impression were muffins toppled over and scattered around in the display case. Then when looking for a place to sit, each seat was grosser than the last. It's McDonalds, I get it. But the cleanliness was lacking. I took pictures but decided that nobody wants to see crumbs and wrappers and sauce all over the floor and seats. read more

I really like McDonald's and am happy to praise the good ones. In fact, the one a mile away in Deerfield is really good. This one is really bad. Nearly every time I stop by, something goes wrong: they get the order wrong (this has happened to me repeatedly) or the service is slow/indifferent/slow-and-indifferent. Despite the new facility and the ultra-convenient location, I find myself going out of my way so to visit another location (or even ordering from the Burger King up the road). I have been to this McDonald's on a few occasions, and have been disappointed every time. Unfortunately, it is one of the only 24hr McDonald's in the area. One notable instance was when I went through the drive-thru for a Big Mac value meal and got home to find all they gave me was bread and lettuce with a side of fries. When I went back with it, I was given a hand-written note written on receipt paper that supposedly entitled me to a free value meal. When I did stop buy to redeem this "coupon" I was given a hard time about it. The most recent incident had to do with McNuggets. Other McDonalds' sell a 4-piece McNugget for a couple bucks. My daughter just wanted a little snack -- all she wanted were a few McNuggets. I asked and was told very sharply that I could only get a 4-piece with a Happy Meal. I pressed further and the cashier asked someone else who was also very curt. How hard would it have been to charge us a couple dollars and give us the McNuggets? Not to mention we would have made a much more significant purchase had we ate at this establishment. We ended up going to Steak n Shake. Unless something changes, this McDonald's is blacklisted for us. read more

Dirty restrooms, rude management, and something really funky about the ketchup dispenser. Manager sent someone over to "look" at the ketchup which was "broken" off color and terrible tasting. Instead of disconnecting it and cleaning it out he just fiddled with something under the counter and walked away. The manager proclaimed it was "fixed". A customer next to me told me the ketchup on the left side (the same problem dispenser) was orange two weeks prior. The person taking the order through the drive thru was very rude. He wouldn't let me place my order. I started to order and would cut me off and just say stuff so I couldn't understand. When I asked if he could repeat what he said he just closed the order. When I received my food the containers were open so the food had spilled around.
