been going here for 20 years and its great. Love the play area although the area is for kids under 3 there are so many kids who are over age and still use and they don't enforce the rules. This McDonald's use to be open 24 hours but they changed it which sucks because it was my goto place if I ever had late night cravings. This location has been around for over 10+ years, I even use to work here when I was in high school! The place is very clean, but staff sometimes seem like they're annoyed or have an attitude which can be off putting. Also when I use to work here they would always tell us to say the ice cream machine is broken after a certain time because they didn't feel like cleaning it anymore. Window guy/girl (not sure) was deliberately rude for no reason. Refused to say "thanks" or "have a nice day", just offered commands "drive up"..."2nd window" and refused to even speak when asked a question. As I mentioned, they were deliberately obstinate to the customers. The restaurant is utter chaos -- not a single person speaks English and there is not organization whatsoever. I don't mind people speaking other languages in restaurants -- it's to be expected, but this was just insanity. Food was okay but was just thrown in the bag barely wrapped; like they couldn't make an effort to actually completely wrap the paper around my burger, just low effort all around. It's really Romper Room in there. Probably be smart for someone wanting McDonald's to forgo this place and drive up to the one on Sunrise Highway. When I pulled up to the drive-thru payment window it seemed like the cashier was on their cellphone. No hello, no good evening, nothing but my total and back to their conversation. I now drive up to the pick-up window and the kid asked me if my order was my order I confirmed. He handed me my drink which I just noticed was put into an iced coffee medium cup, and I waited about 3 minutes till he asked me to pull up to the drive-thru spots. I asked if I could get a barbecue sauce and honey mustard, he said he would put it in the bag. I pulled into the spot and I waited there about 4 more minutes until this really nice girl brought the food out. When I got home to my dismay there were no sauces, and my Big Mac no cheese extra pickles was really a Big Mac no cheese extra Big Mac sauce, but i should be calling it Big Mac Sauce extra Big Mac sauce. Usually, McDonalds stays so close to reliable mediocrity, that the only reasons people post reviews are borderline criminal situations. However, this location deserves 5 stars for parents of kids under 12. The food is fine, but they have a recently built play area with tables that lets parents keep an eye on their kids. We used the app to order to the table and two employees brought our order out promptly and professionally. It's kept clean and well maintained. With this play area, it pretty much gives 80% of the experience most indoor soft play areas offer without the $30/child entry fee. read more

This location is convenient because it has a drive thru, however, the drive thru experience I had was not great. I pulled up here around 9am. I asked for 2 steak, egg, and cheese bagels, as this has been my mom's favorite breakfast items from the menu for years. The woman working the drive thru replied me "STEAK? You and a STEAK bagel? I don't know if this place is under new management or something, but man I just had the worst experience. It was around 8:30 PM and I had a party of 5. (including me). 2 Adults, 3 kids. Having a fairly large party, I would want to sit in a booth or a table thats not a high table because there's children with us. The playground was the best choice but it was closed. 2/3 of their sections in the place was closed. We were left with small tables or a long table that had really high seats. Not a great look. We decided to eat at home anyways. But it only got worse when we finally received our food after more than 10 minutes of waiting. We paid, and they messed up our coffee drink, so they made us wait an extra 5-10 minutes for it. After all that waiting, they still forgot one of our drinks. No No No!! I am so disappointed with my purchase today I ordered a McGriddle ,hash brown and strawberry pie simple right? WRONG!!! It was all wrong. Let's start with the McGriddle it had flakes of black unknown hard speckled maybe burnt pieces laced throughout the entire thing it was cold and nasty with a slice of cold hard unmelted cheese on the stale McGriddle my hash brown was broken into small pieces in the bottom of the grease filled bag and the pie well nothing really fresh about that either. The "Golden Arches" has served so many hamburgers they lost count. McDonald's has menu items that contain cellulose (wood-pulp) additive present in shredded cheese, fish fillet patties, biscuits, sausage and scrambled egg mix, smoothie base, syrup, ice cream, barbecue sauce, sweet 'n' sour sauce and honey mustard sauce. Not what is really fair to consumers. Years ago people say they use cheap fillers to extend the quantity of the foods at lower cost. Meats in past had meat from ground earthworms and kangaroos but called 100% meat. Ingredients are currently printed for us to view so we are able to keep track of their honesty. This location of McDonalds is legendary to residents in this area. In the 1970's it had a nautical style interior. Smoking was allowed and people loved to steal the iron ashtrays. If cigarette smoke bothered you we would take a seat further away or ask them to put it out and they always agreed. The coffee stirrers used to look like tiny spoons but we're changed for fears that people would sniff cocaine with them. In the middle of the parking lot there used to be an outdoor dining area which no one can understand why they removed it. Eating there lately only in the drive-thru because the activity inside a hassle. Inside dining interrupted by janitor constantly mopping floors with bleach and ammonia that irritates my nose and eyes. Kids screaming and sneezing, some coughing like they have the flu. The food itself has a laxative effect from the cellulose filler used these days so be aware of this if having company over later. I had Filet-O-Fish (Captain Crook's favorite). In addition to this Chicken McNuggets with sweet/sour sauce and side salad with Newman's Own Italian dressing (no croutons available). Six hours later this food liquidised my bowels for the next twelve hours. Had to take pill to stop this diarrhea from the meal. Honestly I cannot recommend eating McDonalds bill of fare unless you have a "death wish" for your behind. read more

Regular McDonald's with an awesomely large and colorful play area with a bunch of tubes for kids to crawl in and out of. It's a clean McDonald's with pictures of flowers on the walls. Straight up lies about the ice cream machine being broken or being down. Listen man i know that thing stays on till 5, you just dont want to walk over and make it. I wish I could give this place no stars, but I have to give them something. The nicest way I could describe this McDonald's is saying how horrible it is. The night crew is awful. No matter what time you get there, something you order will be "out of stock," which is their way of saying, "We don't want to make it right now." This has been going on for years, and it's really bad. In addition, they really like to take their time and make you wait. I once ordered two pies and it took them 10 minutes to give me my food at the drive thru after I paid. I was the only one there, and it was fully staffed inside. A lot of them were just standing there. By the time I received my food, there were four cars lined up behind me. My friends also complain about them messing up their orders. For example, I had a friend order a McFlurry, and the crew decided to "mix it by hand" (aka: dump the mix-in on the top and leave it there) instead of using the McFlurry machine. One time I tried to do two orders at the drive thru. I asked them if it was okay, and the woman working it sighed in anguish and then said, "What do you want?" Then immediately said, "Wait, no. We can't do that. You're going to have to go inside." I've placed multiple orders in my car before, and while I understand it's company policy that they have the right to deny any customer they want, they didn't have to be rude about it. All we wanted to do was give them more business. So don't go here. It's seriously the worst. It's been bad for years, and it's never gotten better. read more

My wife and I went to McDonald's tonight for a late nite snack. As a general rule I do not give Mcdonald's high ratings. However tonight was a GREAT experience. We were served quickly and efficiently. The manager Frank was great and the crew was happy and efficient. As a business professor I know this is the correct atmosphere for this type of restaurant. My wife had a problem with a sandwich which was replaced quickly. The food itself was great for a McDonald's and was made perfectly. I must say this was an extraordinary experience and I look forward to returning to this restaurant in the near future. read more

Drive-thru is always backed up almost all the way to the street. Employees there are nice and helpful, but understaffed I guess due to location. Worst McDonald's I've been too by far!! For starters, once I got my order it was all wrong and my food looked like it had been sitting for hours. Wasn't fresh nor hot. Secondly, I watched the manager or shift leader watch as two of the employees made my drink incorrectly two times and never chose to intervene and correct them. I used the drive thru furthest from the store four cars in the other lane were helped first. I placed my order drove to the window to pay and they didn't have my order. I went inside to order and a small black haired manager who was working the drive thru yelled what order are you waiting for. I asked to speak to a manager and a lady came forward didn't identify herself and I explained the issue. I made my order and asked for the General Manager's number it was written on a napkin. I had the most terrible experience at this McDonald's today. I place that I USED to frequent almost daily. NEVER AGAIN! The person that took my order couldn't have been nicer and forgot to give me my entire change. I went to the 2nd window and asked the associate for the dollar and explained that the young man shorted me only 1.00. She said ok and turned to her coworker all the while my dog began to bark, so I couldn't hear her ask me what I wanted so I raised my.voice to ensure she could hear me and she got so nasty and said so you want a dollar. I said yes a dollar and you don't have to be so nasty. She should have apologized but instead she said I am not nasty. I said you are and look how you are acting now. She walked away and when she came back I said do you have a manager, she didn't respond so I said HELLO and she said just wait and waved her hand at me. The manager came to the window and I told him she was so nasty and that I come there daily, she comes up and starts telling him and I said she is out of control and I have to admit I lost it. Point no way to treat a customer, throwing the bag and slamming the window when I didn't have the whole order. I called her a fucking baby and an asshole. I left and let me say I wouldn't go there if it was the last place on this earth. Pretty poor management. The manager should have stepped in and stop the whole thing. read more

I have been going to this McDonald's in Lynbrook for years and have never had an issue with any of the staff from those who prepare the food, the cashiers who take the orders, the employees who bring the food to your table or the managers on duty who are always available to help in any way they can.
