I went to chipotle and asked about the free burrito only to find out that there were steps for this process: #1) you have to fill out a form on line #2) after filling out the form on line, it's a raffle and you may NOT be chosen for it This was very distasteful. This location continues to be the worst of them all. Never really paid attention to the reviews until today. The workers are always rude when I do uber eats pick up. I placed an order for 11:30 AM pick up this morning. Only had 10 minutes to get there and back. Came home and literally NO MEAT in my bowl. And I ordered half carne asada and half chicken. 2 pieces of meat to be exact! I went searching in the bowl and nothing but rice sour cream and fajita. Is this what happens when you don't physically go to the restaurant and order? Are they skimming when you place the order to go on purpose? This would be the 3rd time. This is exactly why I stopped going to chipotle. Their portions are a rip off. $20 on nothing. Always a winner. I'm a fan of chipotle. I find this to be one of the better locations. Parking is easy and the employees give fair portions. I've found some to be very skimpy lately. They have a new lime chicken that is delicious. I would definitely recommend trying it. My biggest complaint with this, and probably every chipotle, is that they never clean the tables. If you choose to eat in you are almost always sitting at a dirty table. And while I sat there eating, for close to 30 minutes, I never saw anyone put any effort into cleaning anything read more

I have saw customers being unnecessarily rude to this young man, and he continues to wear a smile. In spite of the way he was being treated . I literally come here every day and every time I see him, he's always there with a very authentic smile along with a how can I help you or what would you like today that young man is certainly someone who you guys should be proud to have on your team . As a regional director For a corporation for many years, I can absolutely tell you. He's definitely without a shadow of a doubt ready for management. I've seen him do everything from de-escalate situations to cleaning to serving. To cashier work while talking his coworkers off the edge at times and all with a smile while doing it. After being very unnecessarily disrespected he continued to wear a smile great job Jelani continue with your amazing work ethic and you're genuine smile actually, I passed a number of chipotle's to come to this specifically because my 11-year-old son always says when we step into a chipotle, mom let's just go to Jelani. This is my second time visiting this location & the same woman serving me gave me the same problem. This time I really almost lost my appetite & left. The best way to describe her is an older Hispanic woman. She had a problem giving me extra rice after only putting two scoops of rice in my bowl. I'm a small girl but I eat heavily but I'm also not greedy. The way she treated me made me feel like I was being greedy. She yells after the second time after I asked for more rice which didn't amount to a whole spoon full, "You'll get charged more" I said no problem. She probably thought I was going to say never mind, no. I'm aware of what I'm purchasing . In the picture added, she made sure she aggressively wrote R for rice & circled it, I guess letting it be known I'll be charged extra (which I've never heard of before but ok). I still didn't stress it. She shares food like she pays for every piece of food being shared on a customer's plate. Yes, I know they're all the same, but I visit this Chipotle (across from Nassau Coliseum) several times a week so figured I'd gear my review for this one. Most of the friendly staff and both of the managers (Jimmy & Brian) know me by name since I'm always in there (steak fajita burrito - NO RICE!) so I want to first give them my compliments for terrific service with a smile, no matter how busy they are! Unlike Baja Fresh or Green Cactus, the standard Chipotle burrito does NOT come with tortilla chips or the salsa sides that the former two provide, but that still doesn't sway my decision to continuously visit Chipotle over their competition. When ordering, choose from three tacos, a burrito (beans & rice) a fajita burrito (peppers & onions and rice) a burrito bowl (no bread), or a salad. After that, choose a meat - I stick with the steak, but there's also carnitas (shredded beef, also spicy). if you want to tone it down, choose either the chicken (medium hot) or pork (mildly seasoned). There's also a veggie option which comes with a generous helping of guacamole for no additional charge (it costs extra if you add it to one of the four "meat" options) Once you've picked your meat (or veggie) base, it's on to the toppings. Unlike some of the other places that nickel and dime you for extra toppings, you have free reign over what you'd like to add in. There's black or pinto beans, peppers & onions, and the cilantro-lime seasoned rice. As you slide down the assembly line, choose from three different types of salsas, a delicious corn chili, sour cream, shredded cheese, guacamole (costs extra, unless you ordered veggie) and lettuce. All of the ingredients are derived from humane means, animal products are free of antibiotics and hormones, and some other ingredients are organically produced. Needless to say, flavors are intense and rich, regardless of what you order. I think after today, I am done going to this location. For one thing, parking lot is horrible, with people waiting to get into the tiny lot and backing up traffic on Hempstead Turnpike. Secondly, every time I have placed an online order for pick-up from this location there has been an issue. Either they left something off the meal that I'd paid for, or they put something else on that I did not ask for. Mistakes happen, yes, okay I can understand that. But this has been EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. at this location. The staff also is not very polite or helpful either when it comes to fixing such issues. They don't even seem to really care about keeping customers satisfied. The food was good, service was terrible. The older lady taking the food orders was very rude, and got not only my order wrong, but the guy in front of me. Kept asking over and over for customers to repeat themselves and still put the wrong food . Then had an attitude after I said the order was wrong when I told her multiple times what I wanted and she still didn't remember. Honestly my last time going to this chipotle, which sucks because it's the closest one to my house. But I refuse to spend another dollar there. Overall, good food, bad customer service. I've been a customer prior to working here and I've seen both sides -- as a customer and as a worker. All I can say is any con you will find on this restaurant is not the "crews" neither the "store managers" fault. Blame the corporation or the higher ups for making the rules that customers often complain about. I'm seeing how customers complain about "portions", but it's not the crews fault. They're trained to do that and where do you think did that rule came from? Obviously the corporation. Really miserable experience here. Started with them not giving the appropriate number of sides for a kids' meal. Since we opted for an extra serving of chicken in the kids' meal (and we were paying for it!!) which took an extra space, they couldn't understand how that meant that our child was still owed another side (lettuce). Next, the orange that came with the kids' meal was moldy. When we pointed this out, the only reaction was, "They all came that way." So, instead of not offering them, they just hand out moldy oranges. Additionally, an older woman came in and had a simple question about the menu, and the same employee rudely said, "The menu is up there." We walk in and a gentleman was standing waiting to order, the woman about to help gave him an attitude for asking why no one has helped him or even if placed him, the man was trying to apologize. This is normally my go to Chipotle spot. I've been going here since they opened years ago. But today they really pissed me off. I went in to get to bowls. The young man waiting on me was very pleasant. He went to get carnitas for my bowl, he recognized that they were out. He asked the guy to the left of him for more carnitas, since he was the one chopping up and putting out all the meat. He was like someone wants carnitas? (Really?!?! That's what you sell here!!! Along with other things). He was like, well we don't have anymore. So it's 4 in the afternoon and you ran out of carnitas and no one thought to make more or perhaps out of curtesy put up a sign that says we are out of carnitas. Well that was my cue to leave. So many positive things to say about this Chipotle location. This Chipotle is located on busy Hempstead turnpike in Long Island. It's next to two major colleges, Hofstra University and Nassau Community college. With that being said, it's always a line. I honestly can't think of a time where it wasn't a line lol. The most times you will see a line is around lunch time 11:30-2ish and in the afternoon rush hour. There's a parking lot which is a huge plus. And also you can dine in. There are seats downstairs and they also have an upstairs where more seating is available. There's a soda section where you can get free refills and also next to it they have the hot sauces and other condiments. The customer service is awesome! You'll never know if any of them are having a bad day because they're always on point. There's a guy there, don't know his name, but I believe he's the manager, is an extremely pleasant guy. Always smiling and making sure you leave with a smile. They serve Coronas and patron margaritas here and I must add, the margaritas are delicious! Great add to the meal. My only problem is that I wish getting guacamole wasn't so pricey. It's $2.10 for guacamole but it's not this stores fault in particular. All chipotle's overprice their guacamole. We usually go to the Chipotle in Hicksville, but decided to review this location after seeing a few :( ratings. This location is right on Hempstead Tpke across from the Nassau Coliseum and Hofstra University. Right away I noticed the grill loaded up with fresh meat cooking. Friendly smiling staff and every item that they were serving up looked fresh and well stocked. No more Moe's when for the same price you can have quality, fresh Mexican food in a hurry. Coming from East Meadow, it is just minutes west of Merrick Ave and well worth the trip. The sign in the gun store window next door says that they sell mace and pepper spray. Chipotle at Uniondale- After our movie at Raceway10, we headed to Chipotle on Old Country Road but the crowd was just to much. Just south of this location on Hempstead is another Chipotle across the street from Hofstra University. A short drive later and we are all ordering Burritos. Fortunately it is Sunday and there is no crowd from the university. I got the Fajita Burrito+chicken+Fresh Tomato+ chili-Corn and Chips & Guacamole. Everything was fresh and tasty. The whole gang got a burrito-combo and everyone was happy. Servers were friendly, the place is clean and the food is delicious. There is enough parking in the lot and on the side street. I've come here a few times during my lunch break and have gotta say the staff here has got it down. They've got great flow but aren't also mechanized and still see you as a human, which is great because I've been staring at a computer all day without human contact so it's nice to have a pleasant interaction. I will say it is, for whatever reason, always loud inside, and it's hard to hear and return instructions for what you'd like to order at times. The drinks/sauces station in the front can also be a little messy at times, but the restaurant is generally well-kept. They even have some chairs outside for you to sit and enjoy a sunny day with Hempstead Tpke traffic. I haven't met a long line here or a long wait time ever, which is even better when on a time crunch. read more

Chipotle is kind of "meh". The food was okay. The service was okay. It was inexpensive, $21 for lunch for me and Teagan. But the restaurant itself was really messy. The parking lot at this location on Long Island was horrible. The burrito I had was very full. That is about all I can say. The meat had no flavor and wasn't hot. The sour cream and guacamole were indistinguishable except for the color. The brown rice was not hot. Overall "meh". The chips were really good. The queso was warm. The bottle of water quenched my thirst. I have only been to one other Chipotle, that one was 10 years ago in Colorado. The best part of that meal was the beer and the chips. I order the Burrito Bowl with the hint of lime rice, black beans, barbacoa which is flavorful, tender & a little bit spicy, lettuce, cheese, sour cream & guacamole on the side. I ask for a tortilla on the side & then roll a smaller burrito & get tortilla chips on the side with guacamole & use the chips to dip in the bowl & guacamole & to smear on my burrito. I used to like coming here until the inexcusable experience I had to endure today thanks to "MAGGIE". I walked in with three orders and proceeded to ask for lettuce, cheese and tomatoes on the side like I always do and Maggie tells me that she can't give it to me and that she has to charge me $1.09 per side!! I've been coming to Chipotle for years and ordering the same stuff always with stuff on the side with no extra charge. She tells me that it's the new rules that came down from her GM however he's not there to dispute and she says she's in charge. But there's nothing posted anywhere that states they charge "$1.09" per side and she continues to argue with me in front of my daughter. I arrived at this Chipotle restaurant more than an hour before they closed. Not only were they out of many things the soda machine wasn't working. I find problems with the soda machine to be the norm with Chipotle anyway. Well we were a party of 5 and when we went to sit noticed that all the tables except the ones with people sitting at them had the chairs put on the table. I went to put some down at one table so that we could sit and was told by an employee that that table was unavailable now as I watched another employee putting chairs up on a table that someone had just gotten up from. He pointed to some high tables with the stools bolted to the ground and said we had to sit over there. Only problem is they were 2 seaters each. Like I said before we were 5. There is also more seating upstairs but they had a chair across the stairs that said closed. Once again this was more than an hour before they closed. So if you go there just know that the employees are looking to blow out early so you might not be able to sit and you may have limited choices because it seems they are looking to get out fast at closing. And don't forget about the common problem with all Chipotle restaurants in that they all seem to have faulty side machines, so you may not be able to drink either. This Chipotle just happens to be the wise I've been at though. I have finally decided I'm done with the whole Chipotle chain . Go to Qdoba instead.
