Simple request was denied by manager on duty who was more focused on pushing people away from standing too close to pickup line that was empty. I had a drink 80% filled with ice and asked to top it off again/ refill. I showed him that the ice was filled to almost the top and he said sorry thats an old policy. I asked that he maybe just fill a little as I had felt it was unfair. Still denied me. Im far from a cheapo but I paid $18 for a meal and my drink was not sufficient...very disappointing. I love it here! My first encounter with the brand was in Richmond, VA about 10 years ago and when they arrived in NY I was too happy to reunite with that milkshake and that chicken . Yes, they're closed on Sunday's. I have no issue with that. Yes, their brand stands behind the principles on which it was built. Also take no issue with that. I suggest you research any company you're patronizing to making sure your values align. If it doesn't, you have every right to chose to go elsewhere. Go for the chicken that looks air fried. Go for the nuggets with that chic-fil-a sauce. Go for that flavored lemonade and def go for the waffle fries send shake. Just don't get all those items at once. P.S. I actually haven't had the milkshake or chicken sandwich in years but I'm hooked on the Cobb Salad. Came to this Chick-fil-A before I went home and the mayham my goodness the line was soooo long.. After staying in line for a little while maybe 20 we got to order our food. The girl kept telling us to move up I asked for a coffee she told me "they didn't have coffee" I said "I had an iced coffee here before" she said "oh yeah iced" we kept having to move up while ordering my food. We went over the order 3xs and someone else came to us to get credit card payment. They gave me the drinks first two half & halfs with my kids drink and my frozen coffee & a bag. Came here on my once a month Trek to Roosevelt Field mall, and saw that Chick-fil-A just opened up! My kids love Chick-fil-A. Despite their prices that are higher than other fast food options, especially in the food court, I happen to like their kids meal options mainly for their toys. On this visit, we stood in line for about 5 minutes. (Don't be scared if you come here and you see the line is long, it moves pretty fast, especially when all the registers are manned.) We got our orders in, and our food was handed to us and another 3 minutes. My kids got the chicken strips kids meal, which was crispy, hot, and juicy. For two pieces of chicken strips, that were roughly 6 inches long, A fruit cup, and a chocolate milk, it still came to a little over $6. Now, that might be a few dollars more than what some parents are willing to pay for a kid's meal, but that was before I saw what the toy was. It was a pack of Table Topic cards, which were basically conversation starters. The kids chat amongst themselves using the table topic cards, which stimulate a dialogue between them. For the first time during one of our food court dinners, they weren't screaming for my phone at the end of their meal! I walked over to the kiosk and ask to see if I can buy the entire set. The restaurant manager, Joe Hawkins, got behind the counter, searched around the front end for them and presented me with the remaining cards in the series. That is service!! Him, and the girl at the counter Elaine, offered excellent service with a smile. I'm definitely coming back anytime I'm in the mall and hungry for a quick bite. Hot tip for parents, if your kids are driving me bonkers while you're trying to have your mail and keys, run, don't walk, to the Chick-fil-A here, and get whatever toy they're offering in their kids meal. I absolutely love Chick fil-a! I visited this location on Sunday, September 15, 2019. This review is not about the food at this location although everything was perfect. This review is about the excellent customer service. This mall location was packed. It took about 15 minutes to receive my order not because of any deficiencies on the behave of the staff/No it was just that many customers. All employees encountered was pleasant and very efficient. I was greeted, staff was helpful and everyone worked together to make sure each order was filled in a timely matter and each person received their order as requested. There was also a Manager assisting with handing out completed orders. Great customer service he engaged with everyone from the stroller to the elderly. I'm a huge Chick-fil-a fan and was a bit concerned about ordering in Roosevelt Field Mall, where lines at the dining hall can often get out of control (especially on a Saturday afternoon). Half expecting mobile orders not to be available, I was really pleased to see that I was able to still place a mobile order at this location! I placed the order from the Chick-fil-a app while walking over to the dining hall and then hit the "Prepare My Order" button as I approached the counter. This Chick-fil-a is also organized enough to have a separate line for mobile order pickup rather than a general pickup area. With one person in front of me, I waited maybe 30 seconds before the employee asked for my name. Less than a minute later, I had my food in hand (and a chocolate shake about 2 minutes later, since it does take a little bit of time to prepare it). How'd the food come out? It really was as expected! I had ordered a Chick-fil-a deluxe sandwich (with cheese), medium waffle fries and chocolate shake on this visit. All three lived up to the Chick-fil-a quality you'd come to expect (delicious). I was also very pleasantly surprised to see that they over-delivered on sauces. I had requested one BBQ and one honey mustard sauce via the app, and yet I had two of each in my to-go bag (more to enjoy at home). Staff here was not the best I've seen at a Chick-fil-a, but they were definitely more service-oriented than most food court employees. They also were sure to give the standard "my pleasure" response to my "thank you" (per Chick-fil-a service training). Overall, this place exceeded my expectations (with mobile order at least). This is my 2nd go round at a Nassau County Location. I'm in love with their Hicksville location, so when I caught wind that they were bringing one to the mall, I got excited. I overheard some employees in JC Penney's talking about ordering on the mobile app as a quicker route than standing in line. I downloaded the app, paid with my Cash App Debit card (10% boost saves on the Tax !) and my order was ready. I did some shopping and then headed over to the food court. They must have GPS on the app because as soon as I stood in line the counter girl called my name and looked at me. I didn't even make it to the front yet. The lines were very long but the mobile pick up line, makes you feel like you're flying first class ! All the food was good. I enjoyed the Spicy Chicken with Jalapeño cheese along with an unsweetened tea and super food salad. My daughter enjoyed a kids meal with fruit and a chocolate shake. Came here the day after their opening and it was crazy packed but the staff made our experience pleasant and quick. While on line workers provided us with the menu to think about what we wanted. Then, there were other workers with tablets walking through the line taking your order so all you had to do was pay once you go to the front. This made all the difference, the line moved much quicker and every worker I came in contact with was helpful, patient, and professional. Two workers that were exceptionally helpful were Normaniquie and Austin. Normanique was working the cash register, she was smiling, and answered any questions we had. When we asked for extra sauces she had no problem and provided us with exactly what we needed. Austin delivered us our food when were in the "waiting area" of people who's food was ready. As you can imagine it was pretty crazy with so many people and so many food orders. But, Austin and Normanique were calm and professional under the pressure of such a busy crowd. I loved my experience here and will definitely return. I always wish they had a drive through- I find myself coming here often and struggling but that's first world problems. Chick-fil-a, known for its "hospitality" and great "customer service." The only thing this cashier was "great" at: rolling her eyes. Like okay I get it, you're 32 years old, working minimum wage since high school. How do I know this? There were two high school students in uniform in front of me, and this cashier decides to have a 5 minute small talk about how she went to their high school and graduated back in late 2000s. Sure seems like a high school I'm glad I didn't go to. I go to order half lemonade half ice tea. Price comes out to 2.99 plus tax. I thought the sign said 2.65 so I asked if that was the correct amount. To which she didn't answer but rolled her eyes next to her coworker. Then I saw lemonade was in fact 2.99-I said my mistake. This girl rolls her eye to her coworker again thinking I didn't see. Like okay, I get it. Your life's miserable, you aren't the most attractive but hey, least you can be is kind. This person then proceeds to give me a dirty look as I walk away thinking I don't notice. I've been raised in a Korean society where "nunchi" is the norm. The line is beyond long, but the food is so worth the wait. The spicy chicken deluxe is my go to meal and it is always so juicy and delicious. I crave this just about every second of every day. Honestly the best chicken sandwich ever! I loved going to the ones down south and I'm so glad that they opened one close by. It's a great way to get my Chick-Fil-A fix. Although they have a long line at certain times of the day don't be scared as the lines moves quickly. Also they have people who come out and will place your order on IPads and then all you're left to do is pay at the registers. Staff is very helpful and willing to help if there is any problems.
