Why on Earth is there a giant, ridiculous lock on the door like it's protecting national secrets--when the bathroom itself is already a disaster? And then--THEN--you have to go on a full adventure just to get the bathroom code. Not a simple "here you go," no. You stand there waiting because only the person at the front counter knows the secret digits, like they're guarding nuclear launch codes. Meanwhile, the bathroom you're fighting to access? Flooded floor. Broken toilet. Everything looking like it gave up on life years ago. I'm standing there thinking, "Is this really happening? Is this the Hunger Games of bathroom access?" No one should have to spiritually prepare themselves to pee--and definitely not wade into a swamp when they get inside. By the time I finally got the code, I felt like I had earned an achievement. I always come here since it's close to my house the mornings I have no issues my food is always ready my coffee is always perfect which I appreciate I need my coffee but at night this is the third time with some nonsense going on the first time they didn't have fries the second time they didn't have anything I ordered last night they blocked off the entrance I parked and waited for someone to come out to give someone else there order and she proceeded to come out I tried getting her attention in which she walked back to the door and locked it and shut the lights off watching me through the window waiting until I left I get it I don't want to work either but at least just tell me you don't want to give me my food or money and these last couple times I used points and never get nothing back. read more

I go there and they have no recollection of my order, I showed them my receipt and you would think I was showing them a Chinese textbook they had no idea what they were looking at. To start, the man taking our order was not kind and rushed our ordering process. Mind you, it was 9:36am and I am still moving quite slowly and would have truly appreciated some grace and patience as I carefully considered my options as I was thrown a curve ball as the man quickly brought to my attention I would not be able to purchase an item on their menu... French fries. I did not think it was a big ask and frankly I can personally recall more than one occasion within the last 365 days that I was able to satisfy my salty craving with their well known French fries in the hours before lunch. I have visited this location on many occasions and have been disappointed one too many times. I'd say that going through the drive-thru has caused me more misery than necessary. I'm sure they've gotten my order wrong a minimum of 75% of the time and today's order included pickle stacked on the top (meaning outside) of the sandwich. Also, while waiting at the drive-thru window one time I even had the employee chat me up a bit during a long wait for food. In the morning if there are more than 2 cars in the drive thru you will wait 20 minutes+ ( because they only have 1 person taking orders, ringing you up & giving you the food). ANY time I come to this McDonald's, which is very convenient for me cause it's right next to my job, they seem to always screw my order up. For example, went through the drive thru today, sat waiting for them to take my payment for about 4 minutes. No cars in front of me, no cars behind me. I asked for extra onions on my cheeseburger and they put none. NONE?! Previous time, I asked for extra onions and pickles, and they still managed not to put them on there. This location makes people in the drive thru lanes park so they can manipulate their drive thru line times. Openly admitted by an employee when asked why the need to park when the drive thru line was dead. So you'll be parked waiting like 10-15 for your food but hey, at least they have fantastic times on paper. Normally I try to stay away from McDonalds because they are everywhere so they are where I go when there is nothing else. I still end up eating there every year or so with travel. This time though I was just tired and it was the closest place to eat. I went through the drive through and got one of the chicken wraps with fries and a drink. When I got my bag there was no ketchup! They didn't even ask if I wanted any. Despite no ketchup the french fries tasted better than the wrap thing I had. I don't normally eat here so I can't comment if the blah taste of my food was typical or not, but it wasn't worth the calories. Plus I was peeved to be without ketchup. read more

I can't believe I'm reviewing a McDonald's - but it had to happen. Not just because I'm a freaking fast food junkie so it was going to happen one of these days anyhow - but because of today's experience. I've been to this one, well, let's just say more than several times. The food is always.... uneventful. It's not one of those specifically great or specifically bad ones. It's just..... fine? The only really good thing I got there once was their big breakfast. It was only McDonald's good, but man it tasted good that day. Anyhow, so I was grabbing a breakfast burrito (that stupid healthy yogurt was not going to calm the grumbling monster that was my tummy that morning). For breakfast, I'll normally either get my item solo, or as the meal w/ OJ. But I remembered seeing last week that in a blind taste test, the McDonald's coffee actually scored higher on a taste test than Starbucks. So I figured I'd give it a shot. ACKKKKKKK!!!!!!!! PLECCCHHHHH!!! Ick! Ug! Gross! Spit, spit, spit.... I wanted to wipe my tongue down w/ the wood tasting napkin to scrape it all off. They had thrown in some sugar and cream. I'll normally do a cream and a sugar for one this sized. I initially tried it black. I thought maybe it was better w/ the stuff added. This was a SMALL cup, and I added both creamers and all 6 sugars they gave me and I could barely taste any sweetness. It was like the black hole of coffee condiments. What is totally sad - I ended up drinking about 1/2-3/4 the cup just trying it after adding each condiment. I really wanted it to be better. Kept waiting for that magic ingredient. It didn't come. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Mediocre fast food, fine. But the extra 15 min drive to Starbucks suddenly looks much more reasonable. read more

I was in McDonalds located at 3130 E. Broadway road at 1000 this morning, I waited about 5 minutes before I asked was anyone working the register, I could see at least three managers and some line employees in the back. One of the managers looked at and shrugged her shoulders at me then yelled the kiosks work. As soon as I began using the kiosk to place my order, that same manager came out to the register and began taking other customers orders and of course their orders were placed before mine. I was very upset at her behavior because all she had to do was come to the register and take my order in the first place. I will not be using that McDonald's ever in life nor would I recommend that McDonald's to anyone, the management are unprofessional and don't know about customer service, they are in need of re training or they don't need to be in a management position. read more
