The owner/barista is friendly and really makes the place welcoming. I love small coffee shops like this. Intimate and great place to meet up with friends. The decor is a lil bit ska/punk skateboardey which I love. Lots of local artists works displayed there. Some awesome unique latte flavors that those big shops don't have and one hellava great Mexican hot chocolate. Large House coffee only $3.50. Coffee beans from Hood River Roasters. Lots of alternative creamer options from soy to oat milk. Backed goods offered too. I've been going to this pls e for years, though not regularly, but I hope it continues to thrive for a long time

I wanted to grab a quick coffee and saw this cafe close by . Its a small coffee shop but has a warm inviting ambiance and was filled with neighborhood folks. There was just one person working but boy was she fast and still spent time chatting and checking up on customers. I decided to work from there for sometime and it was convenient. Charging stations were a little far apart but it worked out fine with a little moving around. The coffee was great but could have had a little less foam. The scone was huge and tasted alright. The café was bustling with people during the entire time I was working there. On one hand, the liveliness was great, but the constant chatter made it hard to concentrate. What can I say? I get easily distracted, lol. There is also a small section where they sell all kinds of Knick knacks from earrings to Mugs to stickers . The vibe overall is very relaxed and inviting and I would definitely be back.

The place has a spacious and comfortable ambiance with plenty of seating, but the menu presentation could use some clarity, especially if there are multiple signs. As you walk in, you will see the gift shop next to the coffee-counter. The cafe consists of a gift store with skateboard art around - not sure if they were featuring an artist or not. There is parking in the front and the back of the building. It's unfortunate that my chai was too hot to enjoy (which I will have to report back) as I got my drink in a to-go cup. There weren't any sleeves so I grabbed a napkin. My partner enjoyed their latte. The breakfast sandwiches were okay, though more variety beyond sausage would be appreciated. **After looking back at my pictures. They do have bagels, muffins, and oatmeal (according to their menu). And pastries next to the window frame/register. As you can see very overwhelming with stuff. I cannot evaluate the service as they had a new hire in training. Overall, it seems like there's potential, but some improvements could enhance the overall experience for me. -1 couldn't enjoy my drink (my main reason of stopping by) -1 confusing menu / lack of food options/unclear. They need a QR code or tangible menu

A cute little coffee shop close to Gabriel Park and Multnomah Village. The inside is cozy and inviting. Over the coffee bar, there is a ladder decorated with pieces of wood, and on the wall, painted skateboards. There is seating inside at several tables or on a small couch. There are also a few tables outside, however, if you choose to sit outside, you will be looking at a parking lot. I ordered a Hot Girl Summer, a cold brew with additional macadamia nut and caramel flavoring and coffee ice cubes. Driftwood has a great variety of syrups, specialty drinks, and a food such as bagels, Bobs Red Mill oatmeal, and breakfast sandwiches. In addition to selling coffee and food, there is a wall with necklaces, earrings, small bags, and coffee mugs. I love the vibe here, but I wish they were open a bit earlier so I could get my morning cup of coffee before work!

The ex and I tried to go to a new cofee shop for our monthly coparenting talk near the insane Scholls Ferry/Beaverton Hillsdale/Dogwood Lane/ Oleson intersection from he** , but it was crammed with people, loud, and not for us. Nope. I remembered seeing Driftwood Coffee and we headed over there. It was peaceful, busy but not packed, lovely, and a really good alternative. Go me! Our half sweet triple mochas were good, the lovely barista asked if we wanted to go cups or here cups so we enjoyed our coffee in big ceramic mugs. Happiness. I noted for next time they have coffee ice cubes. I LOVE coffee ice cubes. Food selections include a breakfast sandwich, bagels, pastries, some vegan treats. We ordered an almond croissant and toasted cheese bagel. Both were served on a glass plate and were tasty. It is a cute little space with a variety of seating choices including a comfy couch and chairs. There are all kinds of crafty things to purchase. Right now there are baskets of adorable Christmas ornaments. There was a wall of art from the local elementary school. I loved that the barista knew people's drinks and greeted regulars by name. It is a true neighborhood joint. The only drawback is that this place is not closer to home.

12oz americano (what's left of it at least)

I stopped in here to hang for a bit before my doctor appointment down the street and the first thing I noticed was how many regulars there were. The barista was greeting the majority of people by name and to me that's a good sign as it's obvious this place has returning customers. I got an americano and it was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they also serve Petunia's baked goods which are vegan and GF! I didn't opt for one this morning but I'll be back again for sure. Plenty of seating inside and a couch if you want to get cozy.

A dollar extra charge for a dry oat Cappuccino, but only .50 cents for an additional espresso shot. The cost doesn't feel justified.

Located in a strip mall blink and you may miss it-but look for it and go! The interior is simple, comfortable and clean. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. There are books and games for customers. It's not fancy, but the drinks and food are quite good. We had a delicious carnitas taco the meat and pickled onions were delicious. Our lattes were smooth and full of flavor. Their syrups are house made and I wish they would sell them. Especially, the lavender and cardamom ones. I can't wait to try more delicious drinks. There is also beer and wine and a cute little side bar. The owner,Moose is friendly and welcoming. I appreciate how kind and patient he was with my mother. It may have just been our experience, but the first impression wasn't great. Location - If you're not familiar with the area, I highly recommend using GPS because it's tucked away on the corner of a large apartment complex and is easy to miss. It's essentially hidden. There are fewer than a small handful of guest parking spots in the complex, and the rest are reserved for residents. Street parking is available, but that's limited as well. Service - This is the primary reason for the rating. The staff member who helped us came across as less than friendly. Since it was our first time, we mentioned we were leaning toward one drink and just wanted to confirm a few things about less ice and size. He responded with "What drink?" and proceeded as if we were ready to order, without really addressing our questions. It wasn't the words themselves, but the tone and approach that felt rude. When I later asked for a receipt, he pointed to the tablet screen where it mentioned receipts would be emailed, though he did eventually hand me a printed copy. Overall, the interaction just didn't feel welcoming. Drinks - We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee with less ice, though it still came with quite a bit of ice. The ube was more of a thick cream consistency, which just isn't personally my preference. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, similar to what you would typically find elsewhere.

I'm been searching for strong delicious coffee for a while now…read more I recently was in starbucks near my house, not where I would want to go for coffee. I asked them this question, and they said you could get a latte or americano. How would so much milk equal strong coffee, anyways it didn't work out. I recalled this place, and that they have Vietnamese coffee.... Now that is strong, and also sweet which is just what I've been searching for. So we came by. My wife got a fruit tea which she said was really good, and I got my strong coffee. I was slightly concerned that it would be so strong my stomach would have issues, but this wasn't the case. It was perfect and also not crazy sweet, like I've had before. They really know what they are doing. The guy at the counter was serious looking but also friendly. The people behind us brought him flowers and then he had a big smile. Sooo, I you want to see a smile bring him some flowers, it was also valentines day, to be honest. If you like coffee with actual flavor, come here. I'm wondering if they sell decaf. I do really want to come back and get some salted egg cream!
