We tried this PNW local restaurant for the first time today. The service was good and they were helpful in walking us through the menu. However that's were it all stopped being good. The food came out and was hot except the tot's they were lukewarm and way over salted. I mean brush off the salt and there was still more on them. The #1 combo with chicken was so under filled and so over salted it was not good at all. The #2 combo with chicken was the fried one and its filling was nonexistent as well and it too was way over salted. It was like eating a salt lick. Not too good at all. The inside was clean although all the tables were very wet and we had to wipe them off to sit down. I am not sure this was worth $30+ and the food was lacking in substance and so overwhelmingly salty. The 2 stars are for the service. read more

I'm not sure what is happening at your restaurant but it's really gone down hill. I ordered a Fit Hit Chicken bowl today. It was more than 50% beans. Typically you are generous with the chicken...not this time. Hardly any when compared to the past times I ordered. Your dressing portions are about 2/3 smaller. I ordered two thinking they'd be enough. Not when the container is only half full. You also need to recalibrate your soda. The diet Dr. Pepper tasted like straight up cabonation and no flavor to speak off. Lastly, please don't oversalt your tater tots. It was my first time at a Taco Time, and I will probably never return. Two veggie burritos and chips were $19 (no drinks or other sides). The burritos were literally flavorless, and had the thinnest layer of beans spread on it. There was an oddly sweet aftertaste that lingered, too. I do not understand the flavor combinations they are going for. It's my fault for not asking what they contained before ordering, but I found out they have roasted pumpkin seeds and ranch. I caught the ranch before it was added (I cannot have dairy, so I also requested no cheese), but I took a bite before I found the pumpkin seeds, which I am sadly allergic to. I would have never thought a mexican burrito would contain pumpkin seeds?? It's not something I would have thought to ensure wasn't on it. The burrito contains no actual veggies, too, except lettuce and cabbage. No onions, no tomatoes, no avocados; it's so bizarre. There's corn, but some of the pieces were hard. The people were kind, though, it just doesn't make up for the terrible food. We couldn't even get our friend that eats everything to eat them. It's very overpriced for what we received, and I'd have been okay with that if it had a taste that matched. The prices are basically the same as Chipotle, with zero quality. Avoid this chain. Taco Bell is better and way cheaper. And I hate Taco Bell, so I guess that's saying something. read more

I just have to rave about the people who work here. Went today with my two kids and a friend and her two kids and wow! From super friendly staff who took out order and then brought it to our table then came around to check how we liked the food to even as we left were walking back into the restaurant and said have a wonderful day guys. So friendly and you could tell they genuinely cared took the service over the top! Will come back to this location from now on! The food was also even more delicious then other locations! read more

I've tried the tacos and crunchy burritos at taco time which were decent but my favorite thing to eat there when I want something filling but on the healthier side is the fit hit bowl with chicken. It comes with rice, black beans, chicken, corn salsa, pico de gallo and mild salsa. I like to get it without the black beans and with extra rice instead. This with tortilla chips is sooo good! The pico de gallo and salsas give it the light, fresh, crunchiness and the chicken is tender. I was helped by a few younger men who were friendly and prompt with my food. The drive thru is usually pretty empty when I go. They are located right beside the Wells Fargo bank. Downside about this location is that it's off of Meridian (a very busy street) so it can be difficult trying to squeeze back into traffic. read more

so sadly this place gone down hill , while prices go up , stopped here in the way home and got 1 crisp taco, a 2 cups of veggie corn chowder and a fish soft taco.. cost 20.00 no drinks or taters what we got, watery luke warm soup. taco w hardly any meat , no cheese and a end of a quarter green tomato on it . My fish taco was wrapped in a cold ( like out of the fridge cold ) burrito and had two tiny pieces of fish in it , and the rest was cabbage !! literally thru Half of it out . this used to by my favorite fast food place ! now its just a money sucker . used to love the corn chowder , what happened ??? Definitely been awhile since we've been here, we normally go through the drive thru but it was 10 cars deep. Walked in and the same was for the lobby. All due to a cashier that was overly chatty with the every single customer. She was very sweet I might add, but during the lunch rush- some time management would be appreciated as some people are here during their lunch break and have a limited time. Watched two people have to end up taking their food to go because it ended up taking to long. While I appreciate her kindness it just needed to be cut in size a little. Also; the restaurant was very dirty, the. Vents had falling dust o to the tables and lots of grime and they were still playing Christmas music. The food like always is classic taco time fresh! We usually go to the frederickson location but stopped here as it was more convenient for our drive. Tonight I ordered a crispy chicken burrito and a chicken soft taco meal. To start, The crisp burrito wasn't fried all the way! Like it was soft still. And the chicken soft taco was poor quality, the chicken was dry and tasted like it had sat in the warmer all day and hadn't been touched. I'm so disappointed in the most recent poor food quality and terrible customer service. I strongly advise you to go elsewhere. My last visit nachos only had cheese on 3 chips! Today I waited minutes at the drive through order box with no response. When someone finally addressed me, she asked me to scream at her so she could hear me. This was my favorite place to come to for their mexi fries and their hot sauce... and of course all their food is amazing honestly... but their service sucks. The 2 stars are only because of the food otherwise I would give only the 1 star. This place is hit or miss with service. My husband asked for 8 packets of "5 alarm sauce" and the woman laughed at him and said "it's called hot sauce but yes I'll get you some hot sauce"... well.. we ordered $30 worth of food and only was given 2 "hot sauces"... when I responded to their customer service survey they offered me a $5 gift card for the issue... what a joke.. I spend $30 at a place to get snarky remarks, no where near enough hot sauce and a joke of a gift card for our troubles. With their prices $5 only pays for half a meal. Other times I have come in the employees are very generous with their hot sauce, so much so that they even filled up an entire large drink cup full of their hot sauce because I asked to buy a bottle of it once... they told me anytime I want sauce just ask and I can have as much as I want for free.... I go here a lot. The staff is always friendly and helpful from what I recall. My main issue is the consistency of their food. Mexi fries? Sometimes, soft and kind of cool, but not cold. Other times, crispy and hot as heck. When they're soft and cool, I just toss them out, because, gross. It's the same with the "crisp" beef burrito. Sometimes that thing is so crispy that you might be worried about biting into it. But then other times, the thing is so soft that it tries to "fall over" on itself and feels squishy. Sometimes my soft tacos have WAY too much sour cream in it. Do you know how their sour cream, is runny? Okay, that's fine, but it shouldn't be leaking out the end of my taco and into my lap. Most times, the soft tacos are good. Crunchy tacos have always been on point. Soda has always been what you'd expect. read more

So, my wife and I spent the day at Good Sam, for reasons I won't go into, needless to say we were starving when we left. Taco Time, as always, came through. We used the drive-thru and Ryan was our cashier and did a great job at helping get our order processed. We got the #12 Habanero burrito combo and the #9 two soft tacos (changed to the shrimp). We usually go to this particular restaurant and have never had an issue. The food is always hot, the order is always correct! The staff are always friendly! They have customers for life...don't EVER close...there would be a LOT of sad customers. I will say this, we live in Spanaway, so it's kind of a "drive". They are just putting in a Taco Bell off Pacific, close to the Wal-Mart, maybe a Taco Time close by, a little friendly competition wouldn't hurt! read more

Worst customer service ever, go to Canyon or downtown because this place screwed my order up and was so rude about it for the last time! I will not go back after tonight they messed my meal up then assumed I wanted to wait why they corrected it which I was too tired to do so I took the wrong meal and left.
