Slowest drive thru in existence!! Horrible .....I want my time back!! :( Got out of line after 20 minutes on 2 separate occasions.

I just wanted a ice cream cone and they gave it to me without any effort put in it. It was lopsided and ready to fall. Ive worked at McDonald's before it was my first job over there on Arlington Ave and never did I NOT put into any care into my first job. Usually I don't write reviews but this just pissed me off as a customer. I didn't say anything but I hope this reaches to the store manager. The service member that served me is named Christian. And his coworker an African American woman both just seemed laughed about it. Terrible service for the most simplest thing. read more

Service was ok...The cashier seemed a little lost perhaps she was overwhelmed with the crowd. Food was good.. my only complaints are the restrooms were disgusting. Also there were no straws or ketchup or napkins. I ate as quick as I could and left. Won't be coming back to this McDonalds read more

Drive thru is terribly slow. The people at the windows were a little too firm and they seem to ask you if this was your order. They didn't even know which order was ours. Also, at the drive thru speakers, the woman kept talking through the mic so we thought she was talking to us. This isn't McDonalds. read more

Although I've never really had a problem with customer service here, the wait to get your food here is horrible. I drove through to get a burger and a drink and I sat forever at the window to get my food, then they proceeded to tell me that I must pull forward and wait in the waiting area for it. They apologized, but I seem to always have this problem! If you are looking for a place to get a quick burger, don't come here. The "fast" in fast food isn't really present. read more

I think that McDonald's is taking advantage of clients, through this corona virus pandemic, I went and got 1regular cheese burger, 2 double cheese burgers, 1med fries, and a sweet tea #20/29, to me I think that's a ripoff, no star from me, McDonald's at van buren & Lincoln, I was told by an?employee that the prices were marked up. Needed to invest money in their coffee machines instead of the outside of their building. We mainly go to McDonalds for the coffee early in the morning, not the food and we're always in the drive thru. We've had to back up a couple times after they told us sorry we can't make that for you today and the times we can't back up we just waited in the line for nothing. Watched the cashier handle money and the turn around stick her fingers inside cup and then on coffee lid all with out washing or sanitizing her hands. Gross. Not going here ever again. Every single time I purchase my coffee in the morning, every McDonald's worker and even the management I encounter is in a bad mood and gives no proper or sincere greeting or goodbye at all. And may I add whether it's drive thru or inside, I experience super super slow service. read more

Friendly staff, busy sunday so kind of dirty but customer service was amazing! Plenty of tables even though there is a lot of people here. Staff came out to wipe out tables and pick up trash so that was nice. I will be back since Denny's had a line and this is good enough for me. It seriously is rare when mc donalds employees are nice and take their time. read more

Ordered a coffee sausage McMuffin and parfait with nobody ahead of me, they pour my coffee and make my sausage McMuffin then after standing there close to 15 min they call my number just to let me know they don't have parfait made and if they make one the fruit will be frozen if I'm ok with that, I say ok and continue to wait and finally the guy that's been running trays out to people seated in the dining area all this time they ask him to make my parfait of course I know my coffee & mcmuffin are probably both cold sitting on the tray all this time but I'm trying to be patient then I look between two machines to the back where the guy went to make my parfait and I watch him grab a serving spoon and scoop some yogurt into the cup then watch as he sticks his bare hand into the box of fruit and put some into the cup ... I then asked for a refund and will never be back. Very poor customer service and lack of being sanitary !! read more

Went there on Sunday around 2pm. Place looked like no one ever cleaned it. Trash and food on the floor. Trash cans overflowing. Placed our order anyway. Got our food and asked for ketchup. The guy told me they were out of ketchup. Who runs out of ketchup. Than the fries were cold. Asked for fresh fries and those were cold. Had to wait for fresh fries out of the fryer. Still not the same without ketchup. Than out of napkins. We told them they were out and they just handed us a few and didn't even fill up the holders out front. Over heard the manager telling the employees things they needed to do. And they just laughed as she walked away. Manager goes out side to smoke and sees a spill on the floor and just puts a caution wet floor cone there and proceeds to go outside. Even seen people walk in and right back out because of how bad the store looked. I will never return to this McDonald's again. This is the worse experience I've had a McDonald's down. Lazy lazy employees or bad management. They need a manager that's not afraid to manage and fire people for not doing there job. read more

My family frequents this McDonalds. I was with them when we had it on August 8th. They always say they want it fresh when ordering, per a managers suggestion from previous visits, receiving not fresh or hot food. I got 2- 1/4 lb cheeseburgers...they were quite undercooked and the first one I ate had a ton of onions on it..and maybe 1 pickle....the second one was all pickles and no onions. None of our burgers were fresh, and the French fries in the 2 happy meals were room temperature, like they had been sitting for hours. After calling corporate, and then speaking with the manager of that store, Katie, she said she would replace the order and talk to the night crew. The following weekend, I went thru the drive up for the replacement order, said I wanted it cooked fresh, and explained what happened with the original order. This order was no better than the first. My 1/4 lb burger was literally raw....the French fries were the same as before, I think they purposely put "old" fries in kids orders....and the chicken nuggets were terrible this time, but better in the first order. So I called the corporate office again, and the area supervisor named Carmen got involved, and said she was going to have to go to the restaurant and see what's going on...and if she replaced our order AGAIN, she would be at the restaurant at that lime to make sure it was done right. So she spoke with the owner of that McDonalds and he said he would not refund our money...which was $32+.....and would not replace the order again, because it was already replaced once. When I spoke to the manager and the area supervisor, I explained to them that I am not the kind of person that causes trouble or is looking for free food, especially from McDonalds. But when an order is placed and asked to be cooked fresh, that's what is expected. An apology and assurance that the staff would be dealt with would of been enough....at least from the owner who chose to do nothing. read more

Whoever the white dude with the saved was is extremely rude, disrespectful and arrogant. I did not want to sit in a drive-thru line that didn't move for 5 minutes. I backed out and was gonna fun inside for two sodas. I was still at my car when that guy shouted at me from the doors that they were not open. I asked not even for carry-out. He said drive-thru and mobile order only and then slammed the door locking it. All other places are open for walk-in carry out, why isn't this location? Why is there a need to be rude about it as well when I didn't know? This location has permanently lost my business. It is very easy to see why this location gets low ratings. The people who work here are rude. We are all going through difficult times right now and things are constantly changing. DO NOT BE RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and ARROGANT to your customers who do not know! Learn to have some respect and kindness. I will be taking this up with corporate. read more

My kids love happy meals, unfortunately, and I usually opt to not eat at MC D's... but today I thought I'd try the Swiss and Mushroom Artisan Crafted Chicken Sandwich. Big mistake!! The chicken patty was miniscule and very overcooked (I could hardly bite into it). The mushrooms tasted like they had gone bad about a week ago. And the onion rings (at least I think they're onion rings) that were shoved in there were also overcooked and just sorry looking. Artisan Crafted? By who? A blind person absent of his or her ability to smell? The sandwich was so disgusting I spit out my 1st bite and threw the whole thing in the trash. Even my Diet Coke tastes bad!! Something must be wrong with their soda dispensing system (happens often here). I've given Mc Ds so many chances, esp this location that's close to home. The food is not as advertised and just plain disgusting. I'm never going back, I'm done. read more

Why??? I am a huge McDonald's fan. Im obsessed with their fries and their flurries are the best. I can gobble up their double quarter pounder in a few bites and love every bite of it. If my kids had a choice we would eat McDonald's every day. So it makes me so sad when i have had to visit other fast food places in the area. It seems like lately always they forget something on my order and their employees are always so rude. I understand it is a fast food place and i would not expect excellent customer service. But i guess i didnt realize how bad their service is (i am obsessed with their food and kinda ignored) until i had to start visiting other fast food places cuz i was frustrated with their constant mistakes. This is the closest location to me and convenient but had not been there in a while do to past bad experiences however i was running late so stopped by this location today. Mistake. So I arrived at this McDonald's on Van Buren at 5:50 am. I waited until 6:05am to place my order at the dive-thru but, still no answer from the worker. I pulled up to the window and I seen a worker inside setting things up. Once the worker seen my car at the window she approached me and asked me "How can I help you"? I proceeded to ask her what time they opened and she replied 6 am. So then, I told her I'd been waiting at the drive-thru menu to place my order but no one said anything. She replied, "Sorry we clocked in late, so it's going to be another 10-20 min before we start taking orders". This literally took me by surprise and I was in disbelief with her answer. This was so unprofessional and such an inconvenience not only for me but for the rest of the people waiting in line behind me. She didn't apologize, nor did she offer any discounts. I hope that this isn't a regular occurrence because people have jobs to be at, and this is a huge inconvenience to those people that actually care about being on time to work. These employees should be counseled about showing up to work on time. read more

Wow what a surprise took our grandson to get some toy story toys and they charged $2.99 each for them per Katie when they could of advise the customer a happy meal purchase would be a better option.
