I used an app code with a linked payment for my debit card. The original total was 59.06 and the code brought it down to 47.25. I was told by the Manager, Gary, that the linked payment did not go through and was asked to give another form of payment. I gave Gary my credit card. I checked my bank which showed a pending transaction for the 47.25 and asked him to not charge my credit card. Gary told me the pending transaction on my debit card would reverse. He then handed me the receipt which showed a charge of 47.25 and 11.81 (for the original total of 59.06). I once again tried to dispute the charges and Gary told me again that the machine always messed up and that the error would reverse. He told me to return if it didn't for a refund. I told Gary I was from out of town and did not feel that I needed to drive 45 mins to get a refund if it wasn't an error on my part. Gary refused to give me a refund. I checked with both my bank and credit card company today which showed both amounts processed and paid. I can easily dispute the charges with my bank but I truly feel Gary is trying scam customers by overcharging and refusing to issue refunds. He and his store needs to be investigated! read more

I ordered a happy meal for my daughter at the drive through around 6:40pm . the African American young lady at the second window was in a bad mood and had horrible customer service . She handed my boyfriend a milk and he said oh we ordered an apple juice. She looked annoyed rolled her eyes and got an apple juice. she said not one word the whole time. I was here last week due to a funeral. It was a bit past midnight and I was next door buying gas. Since I was slightly hungry, I decided to buy a snack. I waited at the drive thru menu (where you place an order) for roughly 5 minutes before someone answered me from the other side. I quickly placed my order and went straight to the cashier window. Paying was a breeze but as soon as I got to the other window to pick up my food, no one was there. I waited another 5 minutes until someone (cashier) came to hand me my food. In terms of food, it was just ok. My McChicken was pretty dry. You can definitely taste that they use processed meat and the meat has been sitting there for a while. I don't mind processed meat but a little extra mayo would save it from being inedible. Customer serve was so-so. It was past midnight on a Tuesday night and the cashier didn't seem too happy. This is the worst McDonaldls I've been to. I go there often because it's cheap and around the corner from my home, but yesterday was the worst. I decided to enter the store because most if the time my drive through order is usually wrong. Well I waited 10 minutes for 2 Mc Doubles. Why 10 minutes? I counted the drive thru cars being served to see if there was a difference. 8 cars were servered in my 10 min wait. Why???!! When I was waiting a gentelman entered the store who's order was also incorrect and waited for a long time to get his meal correct. Why? When I asked a person who looked to be in charge where my 2 Mc Doubles were she told my she didn't know and should ask someone else, instead of helping me the customer. Why? When I was finally fed up (12 min. Into my order) I asked for my money back. The person who said they didn't know anything was the person to refund my money. So it seems to me the manager at the time didn't care about me until money was involved. Why? I have called and complained about this store to the phone number provided at the drive thru yet nothing has changed. Why? Out of my whole experience in my life with McDonalds, I would have to, hands down, say my worst experiences have been at this one. I'm not sure if it's because it's a sign that you shouldn't be eating here but really I just come for the dollar coffee because I don't really like Seattle's best brand and order an actual food item from time to time. But at this particular location they either a. Always mess up my order, b. Run out of whatever I am going to order, Or c. The staff is so rude. Or best case scenerio: be a combination of all 3. I ordered threw the drive threw and had asked if they had a certain toy for the boy happy meal she said she would tell the second window. I would order the happy meal only if they had the toy I needed so it would not help for me to know at the second window because they do not allow you to change or add to the order once you pass the first window. I proceeded to the second window and no one knew what they had finally a young man came and told me exactly the toys they had and while he was still letting me know the information the manager yelled at the employee various times to get to the other side. Far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to in Sacramento. I order the Spicy Mc chicken meal both large fries and drink.. vanilla cone.. went through the drive thru.. they forgot to give me my vanilla cone and I only got one spicy Mc chicken. The spicy Mc chicken meal always comes in two burgers not one. I didn't even look in the bag when I got everything because I was in a rush to go somewhere. By the time I got to my destination I decided to open my bag up and only got one burger. I was disappointed because now I had to drive back to complain. I also called them before I went back but they didn't pick up their phone. Which was far more irritating because I have to drive another 10 minutes back from where I was. Just stopped for a lemonade. A young woman working the counter accidentally let another family in front of me not realizing that I was there before them. As they were ordering, two others joined the family and placed their orders ahead of me. After they finally finished (complete with special orders and special requests), I stepped forward and ordered a small lemonade. The Young lady (Samantha) said "I'm so sorry that was my fault and you stood here waiting just for that. $1.09 please" I handed her $2. Well what can I say. One of the worst McDonald's service wise in Sacramento. Can't count how many times my order was wrong. Managerial staff can sometimes be rude. Maybe it's the area I don't know. But with the Resurgence in in the tallac village and Fruitridge Manor neighborhood and the new Shopping Center & Starbucks going in across the street maybe they can then attract a better class of employee. Can be entertaining though, was in the dining room during a take over style robbery at the front counter LOL that was an exciting afternoon. Then I was on lockdown inside the store as a witness as a helicopter flew over and the police came into question everybody. All the while my food is getting cold. And of all the patrons in the restaurant I was the only one who took time out to go to the rear corner of the store and actually call 911. (1st) excuse, we are short staff (2nd ) we cant serve food only ice cream and drinks (3rd) team meeting (4th) we only have drinks, we are closing at 12 from now on (5th ) my boss said we are short handed!!!!! .get that one, the boss, last but not least( #6) we are closed due to maintenance and repair, so on, & so on!... we either need new help at this location or new management. if you close at 2 you dont start clean up until your closed or not busy. mc'donalds is a hamburger place not an ice shop, you serve hamburgers. this location always has cold or stale food . this is unexceptional, & will continue contacting the corporate office until the problem is resolved. I thought after roughly 2 years things would change . Came on a Friday night after preparing for my sons 4th birthday to grab a quick bite . Ordered 20 piece nugget meal w/ 2 fries & 2 drinks and 2 double cheese burgers , order came out to be 12.47 exactly . Before I left the window I asked the lady who handed me my food if my sauces were in there , she said yes ! Came home and no freakn sauce ! Called the store spoke to someone named Lucas who claimed to be a supervisor . He said he would replace my entire meal since they lacked customer service . I asked if I had to bring my receipt and he said no as long as I remember his name it should be ok . I told him I would not be able to come back until Sunday ( today ) . Went through drive thru and ordered ( mind you this is an exact replica of my original original , which they messed up on ) . Went to the first window and I mentioned that I'm picking up a replacement confirmed by Lucas . A lady named " Tracy " came over to the window claiming to be a supervisor and I handed her the order number paper I had ( I tossed the receipt ) and she asked me to pull up the 2nd window . Waited at the 2nd window and she comes up and says according to Lucas the 20 piece was just the nuggets and not the meal . I told her I no longer had the receipt but I do recall using my debit card so I pulled up the transaction . She said even if I was to prove that I had the exact amt debited from my account the day I called and spoke to Lucas she would only be able to accommodate the 20 piece and the 2 cheeseburgers . She said without a receipt it didn't do any justice. I could not believe what I was hearing ! Bc I don't keep all fast food receipts in my damn purse and although I could prove I paid the exact amount 2 days prior , she couldn't help me . She said it's written in the it "policy " . I ended up paying the different for my 2 medium fries and 2 large drinks but I am not done here ! I will be contacting cooperate to advise of my horrible experience once again . This place only gets my services bc it's so close to home and my son occasionally likes to be treated to fries and nuggets . I am stunned and appalled that although I could prove my purchase she only confirms with " he said she said " . Before I start with this review about this McDonald's, im a very patience person and I never complain. However this McDonald's made me ran out of my patience with them. My boyfriend and I stopped to get breakfast before heading out to South Lake Tahoe and I suggested we ordered inside instead of going through drive thru since there was a long line. We ordered our food and waited for more than 20 minutes. While I was waiting, i noticed that there wasn't any manager on the floor or saw any manager. Instead there was a white girl who was running the floor and she was scratching her head and touching her hair while she was bagging the sandwiches and hash browns for all of the orders that came up from drive thru. Finally waiting for a good 15-20 minutes, two managers walked in and they immediately took charged and was actually excuting the orders out for front counter. I was glad that the white girl wasn't touching anymore food because that was disgusting. However, I still didn't receive my order while all of the other customers who ordered after me received theirs. At this point I was furious and I asked the manager why i haven't receive my orders while everyone else who ordered after me did. I would expect her to apologize and give me my food right away. However she didn't apologize and rudely said that she dont know because she just got on and she walked away. They don't provide good customer service, enforce the importance of having good hygiene, no teamwork, no communication, and no leadership to run a business. read more
