Thursday morning and no line! Yaaasss. Took two of my coworkers for breakfast and my beautiful daughter met us a little later. Here is what we had... Blueberry Pancakes with Jalapeño sausage - Delicious Bacon Waffle with Country Potatoes and sage chicken - Great flavor and that sage chicken hits er'y time. Tri tip Eggs Benedict- She loved it. Customer service was excellent, atmosphere was warm and friendly. Would I go back? Definitely

I now see why the Morning Fork is often busy every day. I finally got to try this spot for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Despite the crowd waiting outside, there was only a 10 minute wait. My table ordered the crab Benedict with hashbrowns, blueberry pancake, and the French toast with a side of eggs and fruit. Our food came out pretty fast. Everything ordered was really good. Can't wait to visit this place again as they have a big menu.

Excellent cozy cafe/diner with fabulous breakfast options. The space is narrow and seating is limited; plan ahead! The maple fried chicken and sausage gravy were delicious and my over-easy eggs were perfect. I was not a fan of the sourdough toast, but that's probably just personal preference. With good coffee and great service, the Morning Fork is great for brunch or a date or even just a treat yo self morning.

I would probably say one of my favorite breakfast spots in sac. Why? It's a no frills non experimental mom and pop shop. Yes they do have the unique pancakes and French toast with fruits etc but I came to see what a good old fashioned French toast, eggs benny and biscuits and gravy were all about. The mimosas were good both mocktail and and with liquor. They are kinda small I wish they were just a little bigger. And their servers were so sweet and brought up their yogurt which cleaned my palate after eating hearty comfort food. What we ordered below. You can check out the review I made on IG and tik tok @ TheFood.snob Drinks: * The "That's Pretty" mimosa--edible glitter, seasonal fruit, peach syrup, ginger beer--flashy, but surprisingly balanced. * For a spirit-free option: "It's Green"--kiwi, mint, jalapeño. Bright, refreshing, with a subtle kick. The mains: * Fried chicken & waffle--crispy, deeply savory, dialed in * Brioche French toast--rich, indulgent, soaked in maple butter * Biscuits & gravy--thick, creamy, unapologetically savory * Eggs Benedict--perfectly poached, with a house hollandaise that carries

I'm giving this five stars because I love classic 60s 70s types of diners where they have just good basic breakfast.. Nothing special and fancy but just good comfort breakfast food like biscuits and gravy and Eggs Benedict with great hashbrowns. Their service was super attentive. We kept on getting coffee and water and nonstop. The interior is what you would expect of a basic diner with brown chairs and seating at the bar. It's what I would want in a place like this. I'll definitely be back.

Haven't been here in years and didn't really remember my last visit, but we were walking around Midtown and wanted lunch. Luckily, we were seated without a wait around noon even though it was busy inside. My girlfriend ordered the Belgian waffle and I got the maple sage fried chicken. Food came out very quickly, and the waiter was a bit blunt but attentive. The country potatoes were really good, fluffy yet crispy. The chicken itself was great, crispy and juicy without being greasy. It was a solid fried chicken, but there was almost no maple or sage flavor, which was a bit confusing. The sausage gravy was absolutely stellar. Honestly, the best way to judge a breakfast spot is by its gravy, and theirs had a lot of layers of flavor, deep and rich. Eggs were cooked perfectly to order, and the toast was just standard buttered toast. I tried a bite of the waffle too, and it was super airy yet crispy, really nice. Overall, a solid spot and pretty fair pricing for being on the grid compared to other places.

Don't let the somewhat sketchy neighborhood deter you from eating breakfast here! Be brave because it's well worth it! We ordered the Fancy Banana Waffle & it was absolutely divine! A thick, fluffy waffle was the base for banana medallions, each with a caramelized crust, tons of chopped nuts, and amazing whipped maple butter. No need to add the syrup to this decadent breakfast item! The staff were very friendly and doting!

What a fun, hoppin' joint! Joined some out of town friends for Sunday brunch here recently. Friendly service and food was delivered pretty quickly. We shared chicken and waffles and the traditional eggs Benedict with loaded hash browns. The latter was quite good with tasty hollandaise sauce, but the loaded hash browns were a bit disappointing as the cheese wasn't even melted (cold hash browns?). The waffle was good but the chicken was on the dry side and I didn't love the corn meal crust. Friends had a BLT (looked good) and a single huge pancake with a side of sausage patties. Coffee was strong and delicious. I'd definitely hit this place again!

Best brunch in town. I love it here. They offer vegetarian options that a lot of breakfast places don't. The food is always delicious and full of flavor. I love the mimosas and all the different flavors. It' stays busy but that's a good thing. I'm never disappointed. When we want a good breakfast/ brunch . We drive from Yuba City just to eat here because we know we won't be disappointed. If you want a great brunch/breakfast. This is the spot !!!!

This quaint downtown restaurant is just what you need on a Sunday morning. The sign in sheet outside with no hostess is a little odd but the staff does a good job of checking in on the list and on a Sunday morning the wait time is between 30-40 minutes. There is a huge counter seating area and lots of table and chair seating on both sides of the restaurant. The staff checked in with us immediately at the counter and offered to explain anything on the menu. I ordered their staple dish of the maple fried chicken and egg breakfast and it was amazing. The batter and seasoning was great. They offer beer, cocktails and Bloody Mary if that's what you like. Parking maybe a little of a challenge as it is only street parking with pay by meter. If you are the area definitely stop by as you will not be disappointed!

Ughhhhh wish this spot was closer to home!! To keep a long story short, this is your diamond in the rough, classy, mom and pops, one of a kind, hole in the wall breakfast joints. Parking? Good luck. It's down town Sac so it is what it is. Our server was sassy - but sassy in a very good way because that's precisely how we knew this was a TOP breakfast spot! Iykyk. Service was fast, friendly, prompt, and accurate. Pancakes were delicious, fluffy, and filling. Corned beef was made with perfection. Now the highlight - their egg benedicts are the BEST we've had near and around the Roseville area! We've had our share around Lincoln, Rocklin, Roseville, and Sacramento. Now THIS is how you make an egg benedict. Wife had crab egg benedict - was hands down the BEST dish we had for breakfast in quite some time. Forget the fancy spots. This is it, your search has ended. Decor brought me back to the good'ol days with nothing but simple, good food that'll send you loving the rest of day no matter what. Highly recommended for everyone, families, friends, and even solo solos! Follow your nose and it'll lead you right over to The Morning Fork.

I ordered the shrimp po' boy with a side of fried cauliflower, while he got the double patty cheeseburger with mac & cheese. We also tried their house-made lemonade and an Arnold Palmer. Here's how everything rated: * Shrimp Po' Boy: 3.75/5 * Double Cheeseburger: 3.5/5 * Mac & Cheese: 4.5/5 * Fried Cauliflower: 3.5/5 The shrimp had a great crust, and that romesco sauce with the buttery fried cauliflower was seriously addictive. The burger had a nice kick thanks to the hot link tucked inside, and the mac & cheese? So creamy and cheesy--definitely a standout. The lemonade leaned more tart than sweet, and the Arnold Palmer was refreshingly solid. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I loved that they kept the classic diner booths, vintage signs, and old-school decor--it all added to the charm, especially with the throwback jams playing in the background.
