They gave me old ass cold French fries and my hamburger patties were old as hell too !!! Come on people !! After moving this McDonalds is now the closest one to where I live and geez I'm so happy because the McDonalds/Chevron on College Town seriously can't seem to get the most basic order right. I have visited this particular Mc D"s on several occasions due to location being less than a mile from my home. But, After my last experience with "one" particular Woman who is either a team lead, manager etc.. I did not get her name but she is an older Hispanic women with a ponytail, Extremely inpatient and Unprofessional who rolls her eyes at her new employees when they make a mistake and is very rude to customers and definitely hadn't learned the "Customers always right" that her co workers and I myself learned back as a teen when working at a restaurant and in customer service. Everyone else inside is very mice. My order and amount was incorrect and first she tried to say I owed $12 and some change, then more than I already had paid, fine a mistake but I am confused at this point because the young man was new and my order was very big , he made a simple mistake , no big deal. She rushes over there "Rolling her eyes, irritatingly and rudely barking I owe $12 and change , the fact she care in the middle of transaction, did not ask just ripping the till out of register when I disagreed because then she's saying I owe $4 and some change, like I am going to just hand her money when she had no clue what I already gave him. I know working at a front register when there's a discrepancy on a til at my past jobs we would count money at end of night and if over or under the customer left there phone# and would settle afterwards . Especially when the cashier himself was confused?!?! So, instead of acting professional and not being a miserable person who hates her job and really doesn't deserve it . She goes in back , counts and then sends someone up front to say it's $5 exsctly short, for one I don't trust that she counted it and didn't pocket that $5 herself! I had plenty of money, she apparently needed it more than Me! I drive to Broadway now. Although other employees including the one who came and told me $5 short (which I paid) is always nice. Went to this location (through the drive-thru) since the baby gidget was hungry and we had to wait on a refill of a med at the RA location. She had a hankering for a McChicken and fries. I do not have any kind of gourmet expectations since it is fast food. But I would expect the food to be at least fresh and not over seasoned. The chicken was seriously dry and overcooked. The night before I visited this McDonald's I had gone to two others, the one on La Riviera Dr by Sac State and the one on Folsom Blvd and 59th across from SaveMart. I ordered food on the app at both, the app took my order I go to pick it up and they say there is no order waiting and that the store is closed. That was the La Riviera location which is listed as being open 24 hours. I go to the walk & the young lady says there's no food they are closed there is nothing they can do & to call my bank since my credit card was charged for the food. I ask for the manager she says the same, too bad so sad cal your bank. So I say ok you say you're closing for some emergency call another McDonald's so they can honor my order. She sends me to Folsom & 59th. I put in another app order, it's taken and tells me my order # and to go to drive thru. I pull up & say I have a mobile order & he says sorry we're closed & that was that. Another too bad so sad. My 12 year old son had baseball practice & just wanted to try the new chicken sandwich. Next night I decide to go to the Fruitridge location. Put in my app order it takes it again. I wait in the drive thru forever & get to the window & guess what? I checked in after 10 so they didn't even have my order even though again the app took it. I ask for the manager she explains I got there too late. I told her what had just happened to me the night before & that my son just wanted to try the new chicken sandwich. She asked if he ordered just the sandwich or the meal I said the meal & she says, go to next window they'll have it for you there. I'm like what????? She hooked up the meal for my son, said she had kids too & understood & sent me on my way with a HUGE smile & my son was SO happy when I got home with it. She did what the managers at the other stores didn't...she made something happen instead of treating me like the other 2 places...too bad so sad. Her name was DeDe, I don't know if that's the correct spelling but her customer service skills were on point, she was personable, professional & friendly and she needs a raise.
