Review is mainly on the service. TLDR; waited 40+ minutes for cookies and fries. I usually come to this McDonald's since it's on the way. Usually it's pretty packed whenever I come, so the wait is never fun. But the most recent experience was by far the worst... I always do mobile orders with curbside pickup, but they only have 2 curbside parking spaces that's ALWAYS taken. So, we always end up going through the drive thru--no biggie. This time around, we ordered a bit more than usually, which was just a medium fry and 13 chocolate chips cookies. By the time we got to the 2nd window, the worker told us to wait out front since our order was not ready. Again, not a big deal, but it's almost impossible to find parking or even a space that isn't blocking traffic near the front. We got lucky and eventually found a spot and just waited. 15 minutes passed by and my mom was getting impatient. I was trying to think positively that maybe they had to bake a new batch, so that's why it took so long. At this point, it has been 25 mins with workers coming out with other curbside orders, but not ours. My mom was not happy, so she went inside to check. She spoke with them for a few minutes and came back out to tell me they were just baking the cookies and it'll take about 7 minutes. My mom said she saw a bunch of cookies sitting around that were being given to other people who ordered. Upsetting, but fine whatever. 10 mins later, still NOTHING. We were hitting close to 40 minutes (based on my receipt time) and my mom was not having it. But exactly 40 minutes later, they finally came out with our order. And the best part, no napkins lol. So basically, we literally waited 40+ minutes, I repeat FORTY PLUS MINUTES, for cookies and a box of fries. Was it worth it? No. Do I regret it? I've been ordering the same drink Coffee latte. However, it seems inconvenience for the crew most of the time when I order because they almost always get it wrong. I only go to this McDonald because it's near my work. Most of the time they make me wait a Long time in the parking lot while they bring it out, one time the machine was broken and they made me wait twenty mins in my car with no explanation before I went back in and they told me machine was broken. I didn't quite understand what he ment until I paid and as usual they told me to wait in the parking lot, when they brought out my latte, it was half full. To my surprise, I paid 3.81 for a half full latte!? Seriously! It was 50% full! I wished I took a picture!!! This can't be real! I was shocked, the reason why I get my latte no sugar is because i have a medical issue where I cannot drink sugar, and I get it with no ice because I usually get sore throat with taking ice. Wow! The service is rude and they are acting like their coffee is the only place in town! My feedback for them is more friendly to Customers since you are in "The customer" business, and I don't think anybody in their right mind will be paying 3.81 for half Full latte cup! We just wanted an iced coffee and saw on the menu that a small, medium, or large iced coffee would be $2.00, but since we were unsure, we decided to ask. I asked "How much is a large iced coffee?" and he stared at me and said, with attitude (and I quote), "I don't know". Well, okay... We ended up just getting a medium, which in case you're curious -- it is $2.00. Workers don't read the receipts I'm guessing. Aside from my food usually looking like it's been used for a game of Hacky-sack before being given to me, I've been on a streak of orders being incorrect. Literally a full on sticker on a box saying "no cheese" and sandwiches arrive with cheese. Also recently ordered the new smoky BLT quarter pounder with cheese. Great job including the smoky sauce but absolutely zero bacon. The "B" in "BLT" literally stands for BACON wtf! It would have made more sense if they just accidentally confused the order for a regular quarter pounder and just gave me a regular quarter pounder but clearly they knew they were making the smoky BLT since they used the smoky sauce. There needs to be more quality control like someone giving one final inspection before giving that shit the customer. Don't get me wrong I like McDonald's food and despite frequent errors in my orders, I go to this location because it's the most convenient to where I live and each time i experience a fuck up I always tell myself, maybe it was a bad day or a new person working and next time it'll be better. I come here quite often normally, live around the corner. To be fair the food here is as good as mcdonalds gets. Its clean and fresh, always fast - cant say the same about many other mcdonalds. My issue is more with the attitude i seem to get from the staff on a regular basis - not during the day but at night whenever i come here i seem to be greeted curtly. Tonight i rode my bike over here, realized the front window was closed and went to ask at the drive through (as it was open with no cars around) and a lady started yelling at me over the loud speaker to get out of the lane (January 18th 9:30pmish). I was just trying to ask for directions.. i left the lane and waited in the parking lot until a person came out to deliver something and asked them how to order. They said i can use the app until midnight and suggested i download it... Which i am. But i feel that during this difficult time nobody should be approaching others with such a hostile voice, especially not at a business. From what i understand after talking to the employee in the parking lot it might have been the manager that was working the comms on the drive thru... I am okay with being told No. I am not okay with being yelled at for no reason when attempting to figure out how to purchase something during these restrictions. My rating is based on the drive-thru. This location is one of the worst drive-thru for McDonalds. The parking lot nearby is always full or crowded. So many stores around, but less parking spots. So that's pretty much the reason why I have no choice then to go drive-thru. They have a reserved spot parking for when your order is not ready on time. It happened to me a few times which sucks! Three cars behind me got their food first while I'm waiting in the reserved parking spot looking stupid. I've been to other locations and they don't have this. read more
