This is the oddest McDonalds I've ever been to. People came in to order and the woman said I'll take your order at the counter. So they waited. She came back and said they had to use the self order terminal. Then she refused to help them. It's like there are customers and servers and absolutely no connection between the two. I think new management with a human touch would help a lot. read more

This McDonalds is on the freeway and not too far from my house so I usually drop by to get a quick bite to eat. After going to this location several times, I think i will be going elsewhere from now and on. I have been coming to this location for about a month and every time I come here something goes wrong. The employees are very rude, don't do their job well and don't speak English too good. One example is when I went in with my friend and we both ordered a guava and cream pie. The expiration sticker on the pie was the time that we had ate the pie. About an hour later, we both had terrible stomach pains and diarrhea and we felt very nauseous. The next time we went, we had split an apple pie thinking the food poisoning was only a one time thing. On the apple pie, you could see the sticker that showed the time that the pie should not be served to customers had been intentionally torn off. When we bit into the pie, we both noticed that the pie was dried out and the filling was chewy on the outside. It tasted like the pie had been sitting there since they opened the restaurant. Again, we both had violent diarrhea and painful stomach aches. Another time I went I wanted to order a large Caramel frappe. I always order on the kiosk because it is more convenient and none of the employees speak very good English. I go up to the counter to get my frappe. The employee tells me that they are out of frappes. They should have had it as unavailable on the self ordering kiosk machine. I had already paid $3.99 for my frappe and I wanted either my drink or a refund and the lady tried to offer me a coffee instead which I could normally get for $0.99. I ended up agreeing with her on a caramel macchiato, which was 50 cents cheaper. I could have originally ordered that had I known they didn't have frappes and saved myself 50 cents. They frequently are out of things or the machine isn't working but they tell you that AFTER you ordered and spent your money on it. Another time I got an iced coffee and I had added whip cream and caramel drizzle. This cost me a couple dollars extra but I heard from a friend that it tasted better than a regular iced coffee. I ordered it on the kiosk but when I went up to the counter to get my coffee, it was just a regular iced coffee. The lady was already walking away so I had to get her attention again and I told her that I had ordered this with whipped cream and caramel drizzle on the top. She looked at me like I had ten heads and I repeated it to her. She finally took it back with an attitude and it took her about one minute to put whipped cream on it. She just placed it on the counter and walked away before I had a chance to say anything. I tried to tell her that I also paid for extra caramel drizzle but she ignored me. Another thing is that the kiosk machines are frequently out of receipt paper and when this happens i don't know what my number is since I didn't get a receipt. This last time I went for breakfast. I got a big breakfast (which was almost 9 dollars!) and a medium caramel mocha. They call my order and tell me they have no mocha. This has happened several times, when I order something and they don't have it, so I ask the lady what they do have. She offered me a bottled water or an iced coffee, neither of those are anywhere near worth what I initially paid. I ask for a smoothie instead and she agrees. I go sit down to eat my breakfast since it might take a minute to make the smoothie. I start to eat but when I eat I need a drink to eat food so I can wash it down. Without a drink it's difficult to eat. 30 minutes go by and I have nearly finished my breakfast and I have not gotten my drink yet. They haven't even started my drink and they had no intention of making it. I go up and have to wait for another 5 minutes until I get my smoothie. By now I had already choked down my breakfast without any drink. This same scenario has happened about 3 times already with my past visits. One time I ordered just a frappe (my 2nd attempt at trying to get a frappe) and I was waiting for my order for 15 minutes and I noticed something was up when they were calling numbers that were past my order, when I should have gotten my order before these people. I had to eventually go up and stand there for 5 minutes before I got the attention of an employee. She tells me they are out of frappes so again I choose something else worth less than my frappe. They really need to have some sort of warning before you buy something that they are all out of said thing. I don't understand why people still come to this location. I have come here one too many times and this will be my last visit, even if it means driving a few extra miles. read more

The best McDonald's around for order accuracy, but the worst for service. Curbside delivery is hit and miss, frequently have to go in to pickup food, because they assumed that the tag that said "Curbside 2" in large letters meant they should stick it under the counter until the food is cold, then give it to the customer when they come in looking for their food. read more

As we're trucking up the highway, my wife warns me - that McDonald's only has 1 star. I ask - how does that happen. It's a McDonald's - they have such tight quality control (heck - Ronald McDonald might be reading this review right now). There must be a mistake - they are probably old reviews, etc., etc. So, there may be some justification to that rating. I certainly won't give it a "1". I believe McDonald's tight controls ensure that even the worst McDonald's is probably better than a lot of places. Nonetheless, this is one of McDonald's I have ever been to. 1 - It's hard to get to. Not really their fault, but you need to know - if you are on the 101, it's a pain in the McMuffin to get on and off to this one. 2 - It was slow. Fast food should be FAST. Definitely slow for a hasbrown and two McMuffins. 3 - It's not that great. Our hash browns were lukewarm and oily. I stopped there on my way home from Marin business and decided to go inside and order. The food was typical McDonald's. The fries & burger were served hot:). My only complaint was that I had to repeat my order several times and there was some confusion with their scanner using my iPhone app. The checkout was longer than necessary holding up the line. The long haired Hispanic male there now 8/2/22, fairly new, with high pitched voice is rude and has a very bad attitude. Some of the other staff are ok but you better be overly nice. This place is a joke, and I'd give it zero stars if I could. Last week I went through the drive thru, only to be told their debit machines were down and they were only accepting cash. I didn't have any cash on me so I drove through empty handed. I came back 7 days later today and ordered a McFlurry. Got to the pay window, and they inform me the ice cream machine is down. Why didn't you tell me that when I placed my order at the window 30 seconds prior? Second time driving through empty handed in a week. Went to A&W across the street instead. Not only did they forget half of our order, there was a BUG at the very bottom of my fries!! SERIOUSLY. We called and the manager said, "there's nothing we can do about it" and said it was "impossible." They were insinuating that we put the bug in there. UH seriously? There's salt on the bug!! This is one of the worst McDonald's that I've been too. I live several miles from this McDonald's, but I'd be willing to drive a few extra miles to find a decent meal. I'm not a big fan of fast food, but sometimes it is easier with kids to get a quick, cheap bite for dinner. We eat some type of fast food about one time per month. I like Big Macs and the fries and my kids like the Happy Meals (for the toys primarily). It seems like a good business person would improve on their restaurant if they got reviews like these, but I guess not. I know, from working at McDonald's when I was a kid, that there is a time limit on how long the food should be held in the warming trays before it is tossed out. In this case, I would guess that the food is kept longer than it should. It is very disappointing to get less than a hot , "fresh" meal at McDonalds. Try a different McDonald's. read more

Needed coffee 6:15 or so in the morning, and pulled in here. BIG mistake. We sat in front of the drive through speaker for several minutes. Finally my husband said, "Hello, HELLO??" A surly voice replied to wait a minute. After a few more minutes, my husband again said, "Hello, HELLO!!!" The voice said that they were busy and to wait. We drove around the corner, and there were two cars in the drive through. When we got to the window, we again asked for two large coffees only to be told nastily that we had to go back and order through the speaker. So of course, we just left. We wasted 15-20 minutes for nothing. There were three or four people inside, and the two cars in the drive through. There were two staff people that we saw. No reason for the attitude or the very poor service. However, with the reviews being what they were, I'm just as happy we didn't get something here. We got coffee at Burger King once we got into San Francisco. After reading the reviews of this place, I'm glad we waited. read more

If I could give them no stars I would, I went through the drive-thur during my lunch break and told them I had a coupon in the app they said ok and to pull up, they completely rushed me so much so I forgot about the coupon, I kept telling the cashier loreette hold on I have the coupon, after shaking the key pad in my face like hurry up and take your card, she said to me it's too late maybe next time, I was very upset because I told her to stop and she was being very rude. I asked to speak to the manager and he said oh no I'm sorry it's too late but you can come inside our line is too long, I appreciate him being a little nicer but I had to get back to work, I explained that and asked why he couldn't just press the cancel button, but he kept repeating I had to come in.
