    Interior with iced coffee

Cute cafe located on the corner in a strip mall. The day I visited unfortunately was very warm and there was no AC. Very much a neighborhood spot, there were lots of places to sit and a separate room off to the side. I got a half caff Americano and daughter got an iced coffee. The coffee was very good and strong! Prices for food were a bit steep to me, but maybe $8 is the going rate for a PBJ these days? They have some cool baked goods including a chocolate chip cookie that was the size of my head. I was tempted but knew better. Friendly, personable service.

So so so good! First off, this shop is so aesthetically pleasing. I loved the decor and the vibes. Everyone inside looked like they were enjoying their coffee and food as well. The worker who helped me was great. The name on my ticket said Joe, if that makes any difference. They suggested one of the seasonal beverages and I loved it. The espresso was smooth and delicious. I think it was a honey cinnamon latte. I wish I remembered. But when I go back I'll definitely get it again. I also got a gluten feee chocolate chip scone. Also very good warmed up. It was filling, so I only ate half and ate the other half the next day and it was still good. Thanks for an awesome experience!

I ordered take out and they break the cookie or give you broken cookie.

Great matcha, cookies not so well packed for take out. I won't be ordering baked goods to go from this place anymore but the matcha is well done and highly recommend.

Cool decor and vibe. Good variety of coffee to choose from with a lot of customizable flavors to add Tried their pumpkin spice added to their cold brew. It was not your traditional Starbucks/sugar-bomb flavor you would expect. So it was an unexpected but still nice change from the usual. Had some interesting food options to pick on another occasion (toast, pastries, etc). They also sell their own roast coffee beans.

I love pink so I love it here. The café is such a cute setting with pink tables and chairs, a little free library, and a fireplace. It's definitely homey and cozy. I love the mochi muffins from 3rd Culture Bakery. Ample parking in front. They close kinda early at 4 which is a bummer.

We came here on our way to the hike from Fremont this morning. it was an absolute pleasure to be here. Very cozy coffee shop, and the coffee hit the spot. The host was definitely very nice. The only problem was they didn't our bag so make sure you remind them to the bagel. Other than that, I will definitely be back at this coffee shop.

My husband and I were very pleased with Pink Owl Coffee! Very cute decor and cozy atmosphere! The staff were short but very efficient, patient and friendly! We are not used to that coming from Miami! The only thing we wish it was that they had one in Miami Beach! We highly recommend Pink Owl Coffee to everyone!!!

Cute decor and ambiance. This place is right in the middle of downtown San Rafael and I stopped in to get a chai and pastry. Seems the use a chai tea (steeped in water) and add a splash of milk instead of it actually being a chai latte. I did like they asked if I wanted any sweetener and given the option I opt out. Croissant was good but once warmed up looses its flakiness a bit--wish they'd asked about that first Big variety of merchandise too. Great idea for building their brand, hope they use a local vendor!

    Hazelnut latte so good

Great spot for morning coffee. Love their signature coffees. I love the variety and their kindness

First time trying this place and I always hear so many good things! Pink Owl did not disappoint! I love the vibe and all the decor is so cute! I will definitely come back to study here. I got the Ube Matcha with oat milk and a ube mochi muffin which they were both so so good! I was impressed by how many unique drinks they have! Also, yay for student discounts!! I will definitely have to come back to try more drinks because there are so many that I need to try!

Wonderful single origin coffees available -pour over style as well as a variety of various espresso drinks, and tea. The staff is real knowledgeable and real personable and frequently make me laugh, and they know their product very well and will share information with the consumer. It's OK to ask a question and they won't yell at you if you want cream in your coffee. They do keep it behind the counter in the refrigerator, by request only. For some reason, coffee always taste better to me on site than at home. Maybe it's the temperature of the water, maybe it's just the ambience and the brief conversation? I ordered an iced mocha with oat milk during a busy time and waited about 20-30 minutes. While I was waiting, I noticed several customers who ordered after me received their drinks. I went up to the counter to ask about my order, and the cashier seemed confused. The barista remembered making my drink and believed someone may have accidentally taken it since there had been a drink sitting on the pickup counter for a while. The barista told me he would remake my drink and even offered the drink to another customer instead of discarding it. However, he continued making other orders before remaking mine. Just as I was about to ask for a refund, I finally received my coffee. I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy periods, but better communication and order tracking would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, my first experience left a bad impression. As much as I liked the atmosphere, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this coffee shop based on the service I received.

Comforts sits right in the heart of downtown San Anselmo, with a small parking lot next door (very handy). We opted to skip the sit-down café and grabbed a to-go salad from the marketplace instead. The small size is $10, which feels reasonable until you look around and realize everything else in that to-go area is... let's just say Whole Foods looks like a bargain by comparison. This is premium Marin pricing, full stop. But back to the salad -- it absolutely lived up to the hype. All the components were fresh and crisp, but the real star is the sesame-ginger vinaigrette: savory, sweet, and tangy all at once. Add in the satisfying crunch of peanuts, and it's the kind of salad that makes you understand why people drive out of their way for it. Comforts has been a Marin institution since 1986, and one bite of this salad tells you exactly why. Just go in with eyes open on the prices -- and maybe don't browse the marketplace too long if you're on a budget.
