I heard the beep, saw that I had enough balance, and even took a screenshot of my account to show her. She confirmed hearing the beep as well. When I refreshed the app, I saw that my balance had been drained and debited twice, leaving it at zero. Despite this, the cashier said I still owed for my order. When I asked for a manager, she was dismissive and said she didn't know when I took the screenshot, despite it being date and time stamped on their app, implying I could be "gaming the system," loud enough for other customers to hear. She told me to take it up with corporate since it was a third-party app. Even the cashier said she watched the app balance go to zero and it was an issue on their end but the manager was less than helpful and disrespectful. I was embarrassed, and people were staring. A kind couple even approached me afterward to say they felt bad about how I was treated. Sara at Chick-fil-A, you made me feel terrible today.
