When in Sturgis and the surrounding area here are a lot of places to eat, and Mickey 's D's is not one of my go to places. However after being on a bike all day and realizing I hadn't eaten a single thing since I hit the road I just pulled in here out of expediency. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was, and that the food was fresh and surprisingly not bad. I hate using self order kiosks and you don't get an alternative here. With easy access and parking it was a quick way to get some food before hitting the road again. read more

Have had multiple issues with this location. Always forgetting things and having a terrible attitude when confronted about it. You would be better off spending your money elsewhere where. The quality of the food has fallen and if you get a larger order they do everything they can to smash it all into one bag. Terrible service terrible food and terrible management. Strongly recommended finding some where else to spend your hard earned money. Instead of lining the pockets of someone who cares very little about your experience. read more

The employees are polite and have a smile. Barbie is the best person there, IMO. I get a Frappe almost every day.

Slowest McDonald's ever! Took over 30 minutes for 2 double cheeseburgers through the drive thru. So much for fast food! I feel like alll the employee's in here are on thc or something all the time, absolutely ridiculous. read more

I went into McDonalds the other day, and I had such a terrible experience. I went through the drive through and first window was okay. when I got to the second window it took me forever to get through. Then a lady with blond curly hair maybe mid 40's practically shoved my food in my car. She did not say have a good day nor gave me a smile. I did at first ask how her day was going and I got completely ignored. My food was completely spilled in the bag and I got a dr. pepper instead of a coke. While I said thank you at the window this woman pretty much slammed the window in my face.I have never received such terrible service and will not be going back. read more

A week or two ago I went to McDonald's and got helped by a younger lady named Kynlee. She had a positive attitude and a smile the entire time she took my order and handled my money. I wish my entire experience was like this. Coming to the second window, a little bit chubbier, pale, blonde short haired bteenager asked what my order was multiple times and took almost 5 minutes to decide what food to give me. After slamming the door on my face, I tried to get his attention because my food was wrong and he mean mugged me. Kynlee deserves a raise!!! I wish all employees were like her and she will be the reason I'm coming back. read more

I've never had a problem with this McDonald's, if you're in the spearfish or Sturgis area in the daytime wanting to ONLY go to McDonald's.... Definitely go to Sturgis location, they treat their customers much better and are MUCH more capable of doing their jobs accurately and efficiently unlike the spearfish location. read more

Was charged for sauces that should've been included with Happy Meals. I was told the charge would be removed and it wasn't. I asked for manager to see and was laughed at. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

I come to Mcdonalds for two reasons - one is coffee in the am if I cant find a Dunkin', the other is restrooms are almost always clean. This location met my criteria - they had coffee and without hassle provided MILK instead of cream for it! The restrooms were also spotless. read more

They had a system down to ensure Covid safety practices. So friendly and offered a nice military discount this week. Asked if we were from out of town and just so welcoming! They were super organized, efficient with their take out process. We're doing a long road trip and have made McDonald's our morning stop 3 days in a row so far, but this location was exceptional and stood out! Thank you! read more

Lost my business today. Building in under renovation which is fine but what isn't is the haphazard manner in which my food was made. Messy unorganized just thrown together. Next came the older woman who brought my food out being as I had used the app to get curbside. She came out and was extremely rude and unprofessional. The was nothing posted any where about curbside not being available during the remodel. With the combination of these factors I have decided I will no longer spend my money at this location. read more

Pretty much a typical McDonalds. You better check your orders because 1/2 the time they don't get your order correct, which always tickles me. Don't get me wrong the food for the most part is pretty good and mid day when we go certain people that work the window are in really cheery good moods that affects my day and puts a smile on my face. My wife and I come here about twice a week just don't order the fries or buttermilk chicken past 10 pm or you will wish you didn't. read more

I can't give a zero so you get a one star. I went here earlier this week for a latte and waited in the drive through for 29 minutes. When I got my latte, it was only 2/3 full. For $3.86, this is a rip off. I will go to Starbucks from now on. Now, today a friend went to get soft drinks and the cups were only full to about two inches to the top. What a rip off. I don't care if it is an automatic drink filler. You just took my money and didn't give me what I paid for it. Not going to the MCD's in Sturgis ever again. Even if I'm starving to death and you're the only food in town. I'll look for some road kill first. read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way back from the weekend activities pretty late at night around 10:30. We normally avoid McDonald's but once in awhile it's the only choice that is open. Unfortunately we had to wait close to 30min. for our drive through food. The manager came out with our food and apologized, and said she threw in a fresh large French fry since we had to wait forever. She said that were very short handed. My girl friend and I always stop here on our way up to Terry Peak. We operate a cleaning business and clean cabins. We need our coffee fix heading up the mountain. To date, we have NEVER gotten our order right for two coffees, that's it, just two coffees. We never order more. It's become more of a challenge now to get the right order than to get coffee our fix. Today, we ordered one hot caramel mocha size medium and one iced caramel mocha size medium. My friend said, "well this can't get any easier. They can't screw this up!" The guy repeats our order over the speaker, "ok, so that's two hot caramel mochas medium??"......So we repeat the order to him again VERY slow, "one HOT caramel mocha medium.....one ICED caramel mocha medium". He repeats it back correct this time. (By now I'm in tears laughing). We get to the payment window and the cashier says, "did you have the small hot caramel mocha and the medium iced caramel mocha??".....No, we ordered (slow again as she corrects it in the computer) "one HOT caramel mocha medium....one ICED caramel mocha medium". We get to the pick up window and they hand us two ICED coffees. One caramel with no mocha, one mocha with no caramel. By now I can't breath . So we handed one of the iced back and asked for a hot (they have now been corrected three times along the way). The guy says, "I'm sorry, we're out of milk now, we can't make it" . The second star is for their good sportsmanship, they laughed with us. We are going back, it has literally become our weekly challenge to someday get two coffees prepared and delivered to us as we ordered them. We aren't quitters read more
