This McDonalds is one of the worst ones you can go to. I placed a mobile phone order, the same way I have at multiple locations. They finally bring it out since I chose curbside. They tell me there are no Apple pies, and put strawberry cream in the bag. I had to give them that back and get a refund. I get that. Happens more than I like, but no biggie. I get home, open the bag, and my burger is wrong, and they only filled the half way. So I go back, and the dining room is closed still. I bang on the window, press the door bell thing they had. They finally come out after 5 minutes of me banging. I show them that my order is wrong, and he tells me that I am the one who put the order in. No Shit? Really? The worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I ordered at 5:40 pm and was continuously looked over, ignored and passed by all the employees until 6:50 when my food was finally started to be brought to me just for them to tell me my order was not finished. My brother, 3 year old nephew and myself went through the drive thru yesterday. Ordered my nephew 1 six piece chicken nugget happy meal with a strawberry shake. We stopped at the first window to pay, had our drivers window down and waited for several minutes. Since no one was there and it was raining, we rolled the window up. When we got to the 2nd window, the male manager started handing us a tray of drinks. We let him know that this was not our order and we havent paid yet since no one was at the first window. He told us that we should have waited and to pay at the first window. No apology for the inconvenience or appreciation how we were honest instead of taking off with some free food due to their continued incompetence. The manager again, tells my brother next time pay at the first window and I felt like going off on him! If a 3 year old wasn't in the car, we would have! If I could give 0 stars I would. That may seem cliche but I absolutely hate this McDonalds. It's not their food because honestly, all McDonalds taste the same. This rating is based on their customer service in particular their drive-thru. The attendants receiving the order are amazing always quick efficient and friendly. But that's where the positive ends. Every time you arrive at window 2 there is no question that you will end up at their parking reserve stations. Parking here immediately adds 10-20 minutes of waiting for food. The parking spaces are small and in front of drive thru exit so many people are often causing traffic getting in and out of those spaces. After waiting an exhausting amount of time a person, hopefully, brings your food. Too often have I been handed the wrong order or seen others take my orders instead. If I do receive my order 9 times out 10 there is something missing. All of these issues could be quickly resolved, however, the person that brings the food often throws it in the window and quickly leaves. I have gotten into the habit of asking the person to please stand by while I check order. This request is always met with extremely poor attitude. I'm sorry to say that I had this experience today and too often at this particular location. Do yourself a favor and drive to any other location. The customer service at this McDonalds has gone downhill. This is the second time that I have had to wait over 20 minutes to get an order. The first time was Friday afternoon and I had to wait over 20 minutes just to get chocolate chip cookies and then tonight I thought I would give them another opportunity since they were so busy on Friday. Tonight I ordered drinks, fries, and a kids meal along with a McFlurry. Had to wait 25 minutes before my mobile order was brought out to me. When I asked what the wait was for the employee apologized and then proceeded to tell me that the ice cream machine had been down all day so they weren't able to give me the McFlurry that i had ordered. He said I would have to go through the mobile app to get the refund. I asked him to show me where I would do that at and after trying to find it on the app he apologized that he just couldn't find it. I asked to have a manager come out to speak to me about this issue and maybe guide me on where to go or what to do to get my money back on an item that they weren't able to give me. The young man, who was very polite and courteous by the way, comes back to tell me that the manager is not coming out to see me since it is a mobile issue and they don't deal with that. I would need to contact corporate for the refund and it is not their problem. I understand all the issues with COVID and not being able to go Into McDondalds at all but the customer service at this location has gone downhill during this time and now that nobody can go in the restaurant the managers just don't care if they get your order right or not. They don't even have the decency to come out and apologize or even attempt to make the situation better. It's sad that customer service has just gone to the wayside through this pandemic especially at this McDonalds. I came here this morning to get a quarter pounder with cheese for my better half as well as some nuggets. I ordered a shamrock shake for myself and an iced coffee. I placed my order in at 10:59 pm. Around 11:23 I saw my number pop on the screen for "now serving" at the pickup area by the cashier station. There wasn't any food there yet, so I just patiently waited. It was somewhat busy and I know how it is. At around 11:33, an older lady working there noticed me and asked if I was waiting on something. I showed her my ticket and she walked up to a young, bigger girl with pigtails to ask about it and the girl said, "I don't know I'm on break!" while carrying food to another table. This older lady then took my ticket to the manager (or who I assume is the manager) who had purple hair. I witnessed as she took the paper, didn't look at it, and threw it on the counter. All while shaking her head. The older lady looked visibly upset by this point, and asked me if I got my drink yet. I responded I hadn't. She asked the girl with purple hair what my drink was and she said, "Shamrock shake, but we don't have it!" The older lady turns to me and tells me "We don't have it, what else would you like." This is about where I went from understanding to down right pissed, since they had thirty minutes to tell me they didn't have this shake and never did say a thing until this moment. I felt my blood boiling, but it honestly wasn't the ladies fault who was trying to fix it. That'd be like yelling at a kid for what their parents did. So I took a deep breath and asked for a refund, and didn't say anything else. I still wanted to yell, they never started my order and never communicated with me, even though I was sitting at a stool nearest the cashier station, but it wouldn't solve anything. But I figured I'd write this review, so others can avoid going through this. After my experience I rode over to the McDonald's in menifee off Newport and received my food AND my shake in 6 minutes.
