When McDonalds was on the right hand side of the road it made the decision pretty easy. Especially paired with the nugget craving and lack of time. It was a quiet night at McDonald's today, but to be fair, it was Christmas Eve! Just stopped in for the $3 deal - a Mc Double and 6-piece Mc Nuggets 'cause I needed a snack. I'm loving the ranch sauce served here in the US, which we don't have in Canada. My food came warm and service was friendly. Inside the restaurant, there's an abundance of seating and visually, the place was decently clean. Not sure if all McDonald's in the are the same (because I don't recall the sign yesterday at the other location) but they ask that customers only remain in-store for 30 minutes. The parking lot was a little messy since it's a one way, but there's a decent number of spots. There's also a drive-thru if you're looking for something quick without getting off your car. read more

This is the second time I've used yelp in years because I generally don't care enough to review places that I eat at... but Jesus Christ. The employees working the drive thru and food pick up windows on November 24th at 9:30AM provided some of the worst customer service I've ever witnessed in my life. The drive thru lane was completely empty and yet the employee was still annoyed and trying to rush the order. And I mean it's McDonald's, I don't expect a smile and greeting, but who the hell hands someone a bag halfway out the window without saying anything or even looking in the customer's direction? All that would've been forgivable if the food was at least the standard greasy delicious garbage that McDonald's serves. But no -- this is the first I can ever remember not being able to finish a McDonald's meal because of how disgusting it was. The hash brown I got was completely stale. The McGriddle that I shared with my girlfriend was also not only stale, but the bacon was sour and bitter. The food is hot but drive thru can take a while. We ended up here after a concert because Arby's closes at 11 p.m. - sad. But after extensive texting about what to eat, I learned that the quarter pounder is now made entirely of beef (when I asked what was it made of before, I was told to not ask scary questions). I also googled which had more meat, a quarter pounder or a double cheeseburger. Turns out a quarter pounder has ¼ pound of meat, duh, and a double cheeseburger has 1/5 pound. I was sold on the quarter pounder. My husband got a ten piece chicken nugget and asked for sweet and sour and Szechuan sauce instead of honey mustard. Good thing he checked before we drove away because they didn't give him the correct sauce, and it turns out they don't have Szechuan sauce. We were the only people in the drive thru and it took longer than usual to get our order. However, once we did get it, it was piping hot! That's one way to know it was fresh. Food was your normal golden arches quality. I'm just taking away a couple stars because the employees sounded pretty ambivalent about being there, wrong sauces, and length of wait time. read more

Probably the worst McDonald's I've had and I've had a lot. We went through the drive thru and had to pull around front to wait for our food. Apparently they needed the extra 5 minutes to make sure the buns were dried out enough. These buns were harder than a beach volleyball players butt. I decided to go inside for my togo order as the drivethru line was very long and all I wanted was a sausage egg biscuit. I ordered from the kiosk...easy enough. You get a receipt with your order number on it so you can track it on the monitor.... Except the monitor wasn't working. The biscuit was as I expected...very good. What I was disappointed in was that it took 10 minutes to get it. And that without the monitor working you had no idea where you were in the queue. read more

Rant Review on the way:: I've never been to a McDonald's in all my life and had the workers actually completely stop working for a good 3 minutes..
