Waited for 6 minutes in the drive thru to order without a single car in front of me. 7 cars went through the line that arrived after me but were in the other lane. I would have just backed out and left but had a load of hay on and not a great visual to back up safely. Finally gave up and just drove to the window and ordered. Ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich. The top bun was sideways and falling off, went to fix it and saw a black hair right in the middle of it. Thank God I didn't take a bite. Sweet tea tasted like water and the whole thing was thrown in the garbage. They have a number listed on their window and their receipts if your experience is "anything less than wonderful." Not surprisingly it goes to voicemail which is full. So no help there. Waste of money, inedible food not handled in a clean manner and staff is lazy and rude. read more

(Permit me to say that I know that there are bigger problems in our world than horrible fast food, but I want to complain anyway). As frequent McDonalds customers, we (usually) like the spicy crispy sandwich. We ordered two meals. (We decided to use the drive-thru because of time constraints). As soon as we got on the freeway, we realized that the colas we ordered were no good. (No syrup) The sandwiches were served in foil bags instead of the usual boxes. The sandwiches were oddly dried out as well steamed and gooey! It seemed like they might have been made ahead a long time ago. The "spicy sauce" was a comical small dab in the center of both sandwiches. $20 + and completely inedible. Well, we wanted to bring this to the attention of the restaurant's management by making a complaint, but we discovered that we were not given a receipt. Ok, did they intentionally leave it out to make it difficult for customers to complain? It seems likely, especially by reading some of the reviews for this location. It goes without saying, we'll never return here. For those interested, our order was placed on 4/27/23 in the area of 6:14 pm. read more

Becoming very frustrated with whoever pours drinks and does not bother to push the designated buttons to identify the drinks. This has happened twice now in three days at this same location. I ordered a diet Coke and a regular Coke for a reason. One person in our party can not drink a sugared beverage. When I was given these drinks without the markings I asked the server which drink is which. The first young man said to test them! Really, in a pandemic you expect us to play an "identify the drinks game" by testing each other's beverages? Turns out BOTH drinks were regular Coke. So we paid for a drink that couldn't be used by the individual it was ordered for. That same afternoon I called the store and left a message describing my concern and requested a manager to return my call. Still waiting! Now today same thing happened. Same drink order and another server says he thinks one drink is the diet but can't confirm it. I explained we had this problem just three days ago. Just shrugs his shoulders, says he didn't pour them, and no offer to pour fresh drinks to get the order correct. If this is the attention to detail you put in to basic drink orders, I'm afraid of how you handle other issues such as sanitation and food safety. Neither of these people would refer my concern to a higher up to fix the issue. This should be a simple training issue to correct. I'm very disappointed in the Lone Pine location. Ordered two sausage mcmuffins, a sausage burrito with mild sauce, and a medium strawberry banana smoothie in the drive thru on 10/17/20. We paid for our order just fine, picked it up at the second window. My husband asked for mild because he didn't see any in the bag, and the girl at the window gives him hot. When he said he asked for mild and she given him hot, she flipped him attitude and argued with him saying he'd asked for hot. I get it, you're cold working the drive thru, with that frustrating plexiglass in the way. Still doesn't excuse rude behavior when you make a mistake. read more

This particular location had the unfortunate honor of reminding me why shamrock shakes are disgusting. I have to try them once every couple years because I am attracted to green things. But every time I do, I realize that not everything green is keen (I just coined that phrase by the way). So it's back to brown shakes for me ... Worst McDonald's I've been to. On my way to Portland their ice cream and shake machine was broken and they must've fixed it just as I was pulling out of the parking lot (saw customers walking out with shake), and next day on my way back from Portland was told same thing. Also had to wait for counter help (understaffed) and their bathroom literally just had stacks of napkins to dry hands, very disorganized and dirty. read more

Worst service I've ever had at any fast food place. Pulled up the girl didn't even say welcome or anything literally the first words out of her mouth was what do you want. Paid at the first window and all that guy said was what I owed and close the window on the no pull forward no thanks for coming by nothing. Get up to the front or order is all wrong they're trying to give me someone else's food then they shorted me a couple of french fries and tried to tell me that now I owe them money because they didn't charge me for them. The manager came up took my money gave me some fries didn't give me my change back until she realized I was sitting there waiting for it handed me my change and close the door my face without saying a single word. Most expensive McDonald's in the area. Probably a franchise store with these prices. The only upswing is that the men's restroom has the rare "urinal at the end of the hall" type layout instead of the much more common "urinal next to the sink with no side shield" type. read more

Went through drive through at 5 pm tonight. Pulled in to the left order line as it was empty. Sat there for probably two minutes and I finally said hello. Then a very very faint voice said I have been waiting for you to order. I politely said sorry that I could not hear her. Put order in and drove through to pay. Pulled up to the window and the gal taking the orders was shaking her head like the people ordering were idiots. I paid and mentioned to her that I think there is something wrong with her speaker as we sat there and couldn't hear her. She gave me the evil eye and I didn't say anything more. Went to the McDonald's down on the port of Hood River and ordered a big mac,a quarter pounder,and two medium fry's.the buns on both burgers were burnt and soggy and the burnt buns were all smashed in the corner of the box it comes in and the fries were cold and no salt what so ever.wont be going there anymore and neither does a lot of people I have talked to. read more

NEVER go to the McDonalds at the turn to go up the hill to Maupin, OR. I will never go here again. We haul a 37ft fifth wheel, while getting gas at 76 station next door I went to Mc D's, lobby, manager standing outside telling people that the lobby we is temporarily closed so I walked up to drive up to order and was refused service because " I WASNT IN A CAR"!! NEVER been refused service, but there reason here is so unbelievable its funny!! Lost our business forever! We stop at this gas station many times a year. Today was the last straw!!!!! I ordered 2 of there yogurt cups, with the fruit, and granola, 1 for lunch 1 for dinner, while I'm at work, well she only put 1, no biggie it happens, but the fact I got go gurts (comes in happy meals), and I have the receipt to show i paid for the yogurt cups this is extreamly frusterating, as it's not the first time, I have ordered food, and gotten something tottaly different, and no knowledge of it, until later on, like ordering there strawberry cream pies, and getting apple. I waited 10 minutes for a burnt mcmuffin and hollow mozzarella sticks the size of a baby carrot. Although I sometimes enjoy a greasy McDonald's menu item the food presented to me was inedible. Not to mention the restaurant was messy and the bathroom was ,as well. I came here for a pit stop and to get some coffee. I have and enjoyed McDonalds coffee at home, however, the coffee here must be a different bean cause this was just terrible.
