Second coffee this morning, I stopped here on the way to an appointment. The restaurant is just off the interstate and easily accessible. The young lady who took my order got it right and I had my coffee ready to go. A quick stop at the soda fountain for a few ice cubes and I was rolling. Every table is dirty. No napkins available to clean tables yourself. Ketchup packets and trash on almost every table. I don't expect a fine dining experience at McDonalds but clean tables would be nice. read more

Worst customer service ever! Girl working the window wouldn't take a penny because she said she already cashed out the order. Like she couldn't make change for a whole dollar when the order came to 10:01. This happened around 7pm on 8/12. Avoid this place and go anywhere else! read more

As a business this place is a real clown show. For some reason this place makes fast food work seem like brain surgery. I've ordered quarter pounders made with the regular burger patties. The other day i ordered 20 pc nuggets and walked away with a bag of 4 hamburgers. i called em back to let them know and they were defensive in the worst way. The interaction was so bad we just ate it. This is what happens when you hire the cheapest labor and treat people like the garbage they sell. read more

Big Mac was not worth it the service is very slow Mc Rib had too much BBQ sauce it was a mess. The employee cleaning the tables with the same rag and on the phone by Bluetooth Spanish chubby lady. I ordered a large coffee and as I was leaving McDonald's I took a large drink of it and realized I had just swallowed chemicals mixed in with the coffee. The coffee was lukewarm and was obviously mixed with some type of cleaning solution. When I told the woman behind the counter she smelled it and agreed and kept trying to snatch the coffee out of my hand. When I asked her what she was doing she said she was trying to take my coffee so she could get me a fresh cup. I told her that I had already swallowed the chemicals and I wanted to know what the cleaning solution was that I had just swallowed. Another employee asked if she could smell the coffee and as I lifted it so that she could smell it she snatched the coffee and took it to the back of the McDonald's before I could stop her. I started yelling asking what where the chemicals in the coffee that they had just served me. I just drank it and I need to know what I just swallowed. As this was happening I could see the employees grabbing all the coffee pots and coffee ground holders to the back of the McDonald's where I assume they were trying to dispose of any evidence of the contaminated coffee. They pointed me towards the front door where they had the number for the corporate office but at that point I was more concerned with if I had just been poisoned I just wanted to know what the chemicals were in the cleaning solution that was mixed in with the coffee. Within a half hour of consuming big coffee chemical mix I was throwing up, dizzy and saying spots before my eyes with a horrible headache. I ended up in the hospital emergency room for the rest of the night. I'll be contacting the Iredell County Health Department to make sure that they are held accountable for their actions and that nobody else has to experience what I experienced at this McDonald's. They were more concerned about covering up the situation in the health of their customer. This interaction happened at the McDonald's in Troutman North Carolina on September 8th 1924 at 4:20 p.m. I don't care about suing these people. All I cared about was my health and they had absolutely no concern about the contaminated product they had just served me. Their behavior was disgusting. Do not go to this McDonald's if you care about your help because they do not. read more

We swung by McDonalds Drive-thru before heading to Charlotte. Loved having this location right off 77! Don't have any complaints! Order was accurate, service was friendly and fast, food was hot and tasty! The bonus was that the meals that my sister and I both ordered were actually cheaper using their 2/$5 deal, then adding on the $1 drink and medium fries... so without even asking, the employee rang in the cheaper option vs. just ringing us up for the meals. Saved us $2-something! That was so nice of her! read more

Mixed Results Had to run down to Lowe's the other day to pickup some items for work and decided to run through the drive through at McDonald's. Had driven by several time and it was always so crowded I was afraid of slow service. Gave it a shot anyway. I was mistaken about the slow service. The way they have it set up is with twin lanes for ordering funneling down to just one to pay at the first window and pick up at the second. It actually went faster than expected. That said, would have been nice if they had gotten my order right. read more

So it's 6:00 on a Sunday.. line wrapped around the building almost twice and the inside is locked. Called and spoke to the manager Brittany who informed me it was a safety hazard to have the inside open because of how busy they were... well if the inside was open maybe the drive through wouldn't be as packed.. HORRIBLE customer service. read more

Me and my girlfriend went here to have a small food break. Place was nice when we entered. We soon found out how poor this location is in general. Awful customer service, many people asked for refills for the ice, dr pepper, and straws but they never bothered to refill it, also an employee was vaping in open sight. Overspill at the drink counter and full trashcans alwell as an awful spill at the other side of the room. Definitely not coming back to this location. read more

Staff was friendly for the most part, service was poor. I ordered 2 vanilla cones, got to the window to pay and take my order, the gentleman took my card, processed it and handed it back, then proceeded to hand me a soft drink and a bag of food. When I let him know that wasn't my order, it took about a minute to have someone come help him. She asked what my order was and I repeated 2 vanilla cones, about another minute goes by and she goes to hand me a bag of food, again, I calmly told her that's not my order. Another 20 or so seconds and she asked, are you the one that asked for one cone to be in a cup upside down? Yes, I replied. She then said, "oh we never rang that up", then hands me the two cones. Hospitality and fast food establishments are especially feeling a strain from being short staffed, so I try to be as understanding as possible. read more

My grandpa is in town. He doesn't like to cook, he prefers to grab stuff to eat at fast food restaurants. I'm not a big fan, but for him, I made the acceptation. I can't remember the last time I was physically inside of a McDonald's. This location was modern and up to date. I was impressed on how well the inside looked. Very clean and modernized. Staff was super friendly. Our food was brought to the table. My grandpa ordered a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. I ordered a #1. Basic food, but everything was up to the standards as far as "fast food". Great location, great staff, clean business. Nice job everyone. read more

I will never return to this location. I have been a loyal customer for 7+ years. The young lady at the drive through was extremely rude. She couldn't get her Card machine to work. So proceeded to jam my card in it aggressively. And when it didn't work she slammed her fists on the drive thru window stating " I don't even have the patience for this right freaking now" then said one sec I gotta get your ice cream cone. Basically threw it at me. It broke off in my hand. It was full on melting clearly it had been made 5 mins prior when I placed my order. Very very unprofessional. With people like her working there. I will never return there. And I hope whomever reads this reconsiders also . read more

Visited the McDonalds on hwy 21 in Troutman today just a little after lunch rush. Food I purchased was just a simple filet of fish which I've never before seen overcooked but this one was dark brown served with almost non-existent tartar sauce on and old hard bun. Fries were old and cold. I will never eat there again. Wasted money. read more

Such a bad experience, first off we sat there waiting for about 5-10 minutes for the girl to grab us two bags of ice. It shouldn't take that long for it. Then she starts yelling back and this guy comes up (Pictor) finally. They hand us the first bag and hands the second and quickly shut the door. The second bag they not only Handed to us upside down basically but it also wasn't tied because of Pictor. So now we ice all over the car and our seat. We drive around and wait awhile longer for them to bring us the other bag and Pictor comes out and hands it to us, rudely. read more

I ordered a DOUBLE quarter pounder with cheese and a small fries for $7.34 and when I got home all I had was a double cheeseburger that was stone cold. I only live a few blocks from the restaurant so it wasn't that it was a long drive home. Not like I will be able to get a refund if I called and I'm not going to go back out. i went through the drive thru, my kids were in another car behind me. I payed for my order and theirs. When my kids got to the window they said i had payed for the car behind them and were forced to pay for their food. I had already left and my phone was off so my kids couldnt call me to come back and fix it. When i went back next day i was told to "prove it", Today, i get asked to "pull up" so i can wait for two coffees. You want $15 an hour but cant make 2 coffees fast enough to hand them out the drive thru window? Im sick of being told to "pull up" when all they need to do is "step up" and do their jobs. read more

This location has gone down drastically in the last few months. The employees are rude and look like they rather be anywhere else. The food quality and order accuracy are a joke. I get that your location pretty much guarantees you customers however, you should still provide decent customer service. Even when I order from the app I receive some sort of attitude from the employees or the order is completely wrong. How can you read it back correctly yet, fix something totally different?? I refuse to return. I will just go back to driving to Mooresville to one of their locations at least I know my order will be correct. read more

Apparently at this location there IS no pandemic. All employees wearing masks had it under their nose. 2 with no mask at all. I was just at this location at 2:15 pm on Sunday November 22nd. Clearly the supervisor does not think this is important. I wonder what other health and safety measures this manager and location overlook? read more

Have been here a few times. Not very friendly. Fast but not good quality. Have had fries not cooked, orders placed correctly but not followed multiple times. I have had orders where I requested everything fresh to getting everything NOT fresh. Tonight I ordered a 6 piece nuggets, a large fries and a filet of fish. Got the old fries in a half filled container. I went back and got it replaced only to come home with the filet of fish replaced with a mcchicken. The one on signal hill or the one off east plaza drive is better. read more

I explained to her that her body language and attitude clearly told that she hated her job.. She became so defensive that it was a waste of breathe speaking to someone with lack of intelligence. I admittedly left and cursed at her as ignorance gets on my nerves. I had to come to terms that it is Christmas and some people are just naturally bitter. I hope that the store owner provides customer service training to the staff. The way she reacted could have caused additional issues and a good ole dragging. This is a very good kraut dog, loaded, really loaded with zesty sauerkraut. The wiener seems about average, probably around 1.6 ounces. Dairi-o's weiner is 100% beef in a natural casing, providing a snap when bitten, and is made to their specifications, they do not purchase a national brand. Like the other newer locations, this is a bright, clean spot up-fitted in retro diner style - open and spacey,plenty of sunlight from the numerous windows. The lot and the drive thru are easily entered, and the lot is spacious.
