So, I have never left a yelp review in my life. but my experience this morning changed my mind. Long story short... The young adult male working the first window was extremely rude and snippy towards me. Making a very snippy and rude comment the slamming the window in my face. When talking to the heavier set woman at the second window... who may of been an opening manager I assume? Didn't take my concern seriously. When I asked her for the name of the guy so I can contact corporate she said "we don't give out names" after giving me me my food... I address again what happened... she says "oh, there is oil in the window that makes it slam shut" not even taking into consideration about the rudeness the male adult at the first window has given me... she finally gave me a name... and I contacted the 1877 number on the receipt and talked to McDonald's customer service. I will be following up with in store management also today. I personally work in customer service. I'm a department manager at a common grocery store here in Washington State and I deal with customers constantly and if I were to have talked and treated a customer rudely like the guy treated me... I would have been reprimanded. Also... about 75% of the time I order from this McDonald's they get my order wrong. Most of the time I let it slide.... But in this instance. I'm not. It's a shame because this is a McDonald's I frequent on average about twice a week. And never once had an experience like this. If management thinks it's okay for their workers to treat customers who are choosing that particular McDonald's with such rudeness.... Then I will Not be going back there. So end statement. Guy at first window rude. Woman at second window huffed and rolled eyes and didn't even take me seriously when I told her about what happened. I had to ask her multiple times for a name of the person who was rude. She didn't say she was sorry, didn't apologize. Nothing. Not happy at all about this situation and I'm looking forward to speaking directly with the store owner about this. read more

This afternoon I found myself on uncle duty with my nieces and a gaggle 6-year-olds in tow, so this Tumwater McDonald's seemed like the best place to be. We drove an extra twenty minutes out of the way to visit this Capitol Blvd location because they "have an amazing PlayPlace," according to Yelp reviews. Seriously, where were PlayPlaces like this when I was a kid? Once again, Yelp steered me in the right direction with 5-star recommendations. We ordered the kids their happy meals at the fancy new kiosks, grabbed a number, then headed to the family lounge where electronic NuroErin activity tables and the four-story Obstacle house provide entertainment. This McDonald's location has really impressive ammenities. There are very sturdy leather chairs at some of the tables for adult comfort, and the aforementioned NuroErin tables have built-in LED lights with touchscreen capabilities. Wow! The Obstacle house has four levels with slides, stairs, swings, whirlygigs and all sorts of bells and whistles to provide entertainment for the kids. Wear socks... shoes must come off! And no children over twelve are allowed in the play structure. There's even a small slide and tiny merry-go-round for the littlest of littles. My nieces and their friends had an amazing time, which makes me and my husband Uncles of the Year! Thanks McDonald's for upping your game with ammenities for families. I'll be promoting this far and wide for parents and "Guncles" like me looking for inexpensive entertainment for the kids. read more

This has to be one of the very BEST McDonald's I've ever gone to. It's SO clean, the play place is new, it's not crazy busy, and the lady handling front of house is awesome! I wish I had gotten her name. She was friendly while staying efficient and professional. I never saw her not cleaning something or getting people their food. I'm very impressed. read more

I don't normally find myself doing a review for fast food, but tonight I needed to... I almost gave a 4 star for one very small reason but I see that this place only has 2.5 stars and it feels unfair so I went with the 5 star to shine the light on the good things happening here. I went into the lobby (again I rarely do that at a McDonald's since my kids are grown)... I was surprised to see how automated it's become. No smiling faces but things were hopping in the kitchen and drive through. Made my order on the giant kiosk thing and got my drink. While waiting for my order I observed the teamwork happening. Braydon (manager) was on it! I know McD's trains well and it shows. It was a pleasure to watch this young man run his shift. Communication across the board and even with the drive thru customers. At one point he celebrated with his team that that got a compliment. The respect for their boss was apparent by the staff. He ran a tight ship. The place was impeccably clean and service was fast and friendly. My filet o fish was delicious. Good job to this team, Braydon and location. read more

We visit this McDonald's often late at night after trips up to Washington (we're from Oregon). We will literally pass every other McDonald's from Seattle to Tumwater JUST so we can go to this one. The food is always fresh, the service is quick (for being late at night and cooking everything fresh), and the servers are friendly. Last night the manager on duty was dealing with a rude customer that was dealing with an Uber delivery issue, he handled it so well, and still managed to help our group with ease. 10/10 will always come back here. read more

I've been a loyal McDonald's customer for 20+ years. When I got home, I noticed that they made my recent breakfast order completely wrong, so I had to throw it out. I came back next day to order again, and report my previous experience for a refund or credit. Manager refused to make it right because I had no paper receipt. within the past couple months this mcdonald's has went severely downhill. the past 4 times i've been here, i had a missing burger 3 times. so 75% of the time, you are missing items from your order. so you have to go back, the fries get cold (which are usually only half or 3/4 full btw) to ask for your missing item. today the worker had an attitude about it, usually they apologize and bring your missing item out.... but this guy could care less. i'm including a picture of the large fries i got one of the last times i went. no fries were in the bag and i didn't eat any, this is how i received it. read more

I haven't been to McDonald's for a couple of years. Today however I had a craving for a Big Mac so I decided to order dinner for the family. I used their app which had BOGO' for a $1. We had 2 Big Macs, 4 quarter pounders, 2 large fries and 4 large drinks for $27. Pulling in for curbside service was simple and they brought out the order in a short period of time. The server was friendly and the order was correct and the food was still hot whenever we got home. It was great service, solid food, and one of the more positive experiences I've ever had. They even remembered napkins and ketchup. Sounds silly, but there was nothing they could have done to do any better as they already did a great job. This location is not good. I don't go here often, but I always get something basic. No special orders, I get things just as they are. Even though I only go here once every few months, something is always wrong with my order. Usually I'm missing something. This time takes the cake though. I ordered two regular cheeseburgers. Again, no special requests. I get home and go to eat the first cheeseburger and there is no meat. It is literally a bun with cheese and ketchup. My other cheeseburger had the meat, but the ketchup was on top of instead of inside the bun.
