I was initially a little worried to come to this location given all the awful reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Most of the reviews were commenting on the staff being rude, however, the man who served me at the drive thru was very kind. Additionally, my order was perfect and tasted exactly like a perfectly made Mcdonald's burger. The cashier had an attitude and messed up both our orders. when we asked her to fix them she stormed off and said disrespectful things abt us to her coworkers and the MANAGER. McDonald's is McDonald's; foods the same at pretty much every location. The service is what varies restaurant to restaurant. I wouldn't call wakefields McDonald's "fast" food. And that's if they actually give it to you. Seriously, unless it's past 10/11, avoid this place and go 20ft down the road to burger King. If it's past 11, well, sucks to suck I guess, and good luck. Went here with my friends, many things happened. They messed up my friends orders. Called one friends number but the food in the bag was my other friends order. When we called it out and asked for it to be fixed the person working the counter gave a lot of attitude to fix it and give us what we paid for. After about 15 minutes of waiting I got my food, but no drink. The worker kept going back and forth and I asked nicely for it. Finally got the drink and they walked away as I asked politely for sauce. The people working in the back were staring at me while I was standing there waiting. I asked for sauce please and I got yelled at by the person working at the counter. During our time there she was also rude to other customers. I went here for breakfast this morning and was ordering at the drive through when suddenly the menu screen went to the order summary. I was still ordering so the conversation is as such: Me: can you put the menu back up? Employee: what? The menu is right there. What do you want? Me: it's not... Employee: I can't put the menu back up. What do you want? Me: you can't put the menu back up, lol? Employee: no, I can't put the menu back up. Me: lol, ok bye. Not only was the employee consistently rude throughout the conversation, the pretension that I, for someone unGodly reason, had the entire McDonald's breakfast menu memorized, as if I was the one working there, was demeaning. Went to this McDonalds hangry and with it being our last option, as it was 1am in the morning. Went here earlier today. Nicest looking modern McDonald's I've ever been in. All updated with touch screen ordering. Pretty cool. It takes longer to order your food here than ordering from a person. I ordered food from the touch screen. No issues. However the girl who works there says their ice cream machine and slushie maker are not working and asks me if I want something else. I just got sodas instead. Also the screen order and table number marker says clearly that they will bring over to you. The girl simply yelled out my order number expecting me to get it. Normally I wouldn't care if that happened if I was by myself. However I was with my toddler and would have made it much easier for me so I didn't have to bring her up and carry all of our food while holding her. Also I ordered a 6 piece nugget and got 5 nuggets. Based on previous reviews appears this McDonald's needs some more intervention by management. read more

Zero stars! Ignorant manager didn't bother to check order receipt before angrily accusing me of trying to get a free side of bacon. I had ordered two sides but only gotten one. Instead of checking the order history or just listening when I attempted to explain why I returned to the window, the manager "Samia" endlessly cut off anything I tried to say and aggressively accused me of trying to get free bacon. It was bizarre. There was one young man who was calm and polite and printed the receipt to show that there should have been two sides in the order. This is literally the worst McDonald's I have ever been to (service wise. food is usually okay). Living 5 minutes from this location, I often went to this McDonald's and almost every time, I had a bad experience. When they say "Open 24/7" they're lying. Went here once around 11 and was told they were closed while looking at the sign that says "Open 24/7". Went another time late at night and as my friend was ordered a BURGER the drive thru worker continued to tell her they "ran out of chicken". She had to argue with him for a good 2 minutes until she changed her order to a big mac and he finally understood. Also that time they got the order completely wrong when there was literally no one else even there. I could literally write a novel about all the bad experiences I've had there. read more

TERRIBLE TRICKSTERS my husband & co worker put in the same order 5 days a week @ this location. 1 bacon mcgriddle meal w/lg og, 1steak muffin meal lg og, 6 xtra hash browns & a lg coke. They put the core on the meal (the cokes only a $1) so to ask me to pay xtra for the oj they didn't put in my tab- then rang up bagel instead of muffin which is more$ and switched it out for a muffin. Then they made me pull around to wait. The girl came out w=an attitude handed me the bag n bright my oj back in the bldg! I went in and got it. Got outside & noticed they didnt add my 20% off coupon! Went in again. After much hullabaloo she said 20% off my order would be $7 & proceeded to remove 2 hasbrowns & the coke. For a total of $26.60 which is exactly what she charged me the 1st time & wouldn't give me the new receipt! This place is a disaster. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is BAD. Run by a bunch of teenagers who are always screaming and swearing and blasting music in the store. Very unprofessional. They are extremely slow - covid is no longer an excuse, I have been inside the store recently when they surprisingly were letting people in and they had 10+ employees, but half of them were just standing around dropping N bombs in front of every customer in the store. Average wait at this drive thru is easily 30 minutes, don't be surprised if you wait even longer. This location needs help very badly! read more
