This place is a disaster. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is BAD. Run by a bunch of teenagers who are always screaming and swearing and blasting music in the store. Very unprofessional. They are extremely slow - covid is no longer an excuse, I have been inside the store recently when they surprisingly were letting people in and they had 10+ employees, but half of them were just standing around dropping N bombs in front of every customer in the store. Average wait at this drive thru is easily 30 minutes, don't be surprised if you wait even longer. This location needs help very badly! read more

Im not a McDonald's fan... I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.. me and my girlfriend went and ordered some food which came to $30.. it was only a few things.. not only that but we waited 30 minutes to even get out food.. when we finally got it we went to go sit at a table every table was dirty and I mean DIRTY... we had To clean them ourselves.. so we sit down on the table 2 mins later and our food was cold!!! I went to McDonalds on 7/5/2018. My group was 2 children, my wife and myself. My bill was for $16.26. I am absolutely infuriated by the disgusting condition of the restaurant with unclean tables, refuse on the floor, ripped-up vinyl seats. My little grandchildren (4 years old noticed it as well. The restaurant interior included a man who was passed out, sleeping on one of the tables at 7:30PM, and people outside smoking, while blocking the entrance. In fact, the experience was overall disgusting and depressing. But, we persevered ... only to wait for 1/2 hour for our sit down dining. But when one of the other customers told me that the ice machine was broken and then the restaurant staff did not even give me cups, I lost it and just left my 4 meals on the front counter, while telling the manager of my awful experience. PS. The AC system was not working well. I will never go to a McDonalds again and my wife said the same. read more

Half the time the order is wrong. Half the time the order is stale/cold. The food is so overpriced that youmight as well have gone to a sit-down restaurant for good, hot food. 100% of the time your ass will be waiting for service and/or food longer than ever necessary for a drive-through. 100% of your money will be wasted. Worst and Slowest McDonalds EVER! Nice new McDonalds with rude, vulgar and lazy staff. I went in with my children and got ignored for 10min while employees goofed around a talked about the "F" word. When I finally got impatient and decided to leave, an employee said "I can help you". When I responded that it would have been nice to hear that 5min ago, I got a rude response. Soggy Fries at the Water Park.. I've not given one cent to this establishment since my previous post. Ive switched my coffee in the morning to another spot as well and as a result I no longer go to mcdonalds everyday for coffee like I used to. This one location has created a loss of daily business company wide simply because I couldn't go there on the weekends and just got use to a competitor. That aside, I missed an exit for the East Greenwich location which is staffed with very hospitable competent people. I told my kids i'd bring back happy meals so for that reason alone I buckled and went back to Wakefield. So on rainy days, the drive-thru window is a great way to take a shower. You just roll your window down and the water off the roof line pours down and douses you and there is no avoiding it unless you opt to go inside which I did. The person who took my order had their arms crossed waiting for me to give my order. I said hi how are you but received no greeting in return. No biggie, I don't expect it there but I cannot allow myself to act that way as well. The manager was by the window yelling at another employee about a milkshake and yelling to the back that the "tv order screen was all crazy!" My two happy meals were given to me without error however my two cheeseburger meal was just a bag w soggy fries in it. No cheeseburgers in the bag. Although my order number was yelled twice as if it were ready. I guess you order and just pray you don't have to go back for the multitude of missing items you might have. I mean it never gets any better there. Where is corporate? Does ownership read these? Why is the customer support never answered or replied to? If I could quit my job to come manage this place I would and the town would declare a day in my name if I did because I know I'm one of many who loathes having to give this place any money at all. I've been stopping here recently for my morning coffee fix. One measly dollar for any size hot coffee or a medium ice coffee is a deal I can't pass up. Sure, call me cheap, but at least I'm using up all the change I have in the console of my car. The coffee is ok, they occasionally put regular milk in it instead of the skim I ordered, and sometimes the drive through line is long (depending on the time of the morning I stop by), but overall, I don't think it's any worse or better than the Dunkin Donuts up the street. Unless I hit the powerball, I'll probably keep on using this place for my morning caffeine on the way to work. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. This McDonald's is the complete OPPOSITE of FAST FOOD. You will sit in the same spot in line for far too long. I have waited in 30-45 minute lines before I get to order on multiple occasions and then you have to wait even longer in line to get to the window for your food. It's infuriating. Not once have I had FAST service here. There is a horrendous line and wait time every time I come here. I don't know why I keep trusting this location will be any better each time I return. It makes me so angry because McDonald's is my favorite fast food chain. They have 2 drive through order lines but only one is ever in operation. I don't know what the deal is, they must be understaffed or just take way too long. The food is never hot either. Employees are kind but wait time and food quality is terrible. You're better off going to Burger King next door where there is barely a line and they are FAST. read more

Only reason this is getting two stars is because the food was hot and fresh. Otherwise the service was slow and two coffees were undrinkable. One we asked for milk and the other skim milk and we got two coffees with cream. In the trash they went. Also my wife ordered a combo and they failed to give us the hash brown. I went here at 9:30pm one night only because I had a mobile order from the other day that I didn't know how to cancel, so I figured I would just follow through with the order...anyways this girl Olivia was so pleasant at the speaker and when I told her the situation with my mobile app she was very patient and said "No problem just pull up to the window and we can fix it". I was 3 cars behind in line so while I was in line I ended up fixing the issue on the mobile app myself and by the time I got to the window I had put in a brand new order that she would then have to start fresh. She was still very pleasant/friendly and then said "I'll be back I have to go make your burger, I'm the only one here" I was so surprised when she said that because I know if I was the only one working doing everything I'd be stressed out and probably taking it out on the customers honestly ha but she was AWESOME! I went to this mcdonalds today and was overly unhappy with my food. I ordered a two cheeseburgers and they put the wrong shit on the burger, on one of them they only had cheese, burger and ketchup, on the second one they put a rotten tomato and lettuce. Went to McDonald's today cuz my little brother wanted to get something from there. Went in and almost everyone's order was wrong or messed up. A guy received a cheese burger with no meat and another guy ordered 2 plain cheeseburgers and apple juice and didn't get it until he asked for it again. Also the lady who was cashing me out gave me an attitude. I showed her my phone that had my order on it. She told me she's not allowed to take my phone and I understand that but can she at least read it??? My mom is deaf and if she walked in and showed her the order thru notes on her phone and the lady said something to her (to which she wouldn't be able to understand) my mom would've walked out. This was possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had. First, the representative taking our order was downright snotty. She managed to screw up several things on our order, incorrect flavor milkshake, incorrect fish sandwich, not to mention the fries were stone cold. So, I don't complain a lot. And honestly I usually don't put the effort into filing a complaint, even if I have one. But this is probably one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I went to McDonald's (24-hour drive thru) to get some fries. When I pulled up to the drive through, there was a chair blocking each one. Normally I would just turn around because that must mean they aren't working/they must be closed this time. I park in their lot, and what do I see? Several employees just hangin out there. So I decided to call and just see if I was missing something. The employee who answered the phone was nice at first, but when I explained the situation she told me I was wrong, twice, and hung up on me. I just thought wow, what a lazy person. You're one job is to service people that come through the drive thru, and it wasn't even late! It was 11:30 at night. I have no sympathy because I also come from a 24 hour profession, so get over it and do your job. I don't expect them to be pumped they are working the late shift at McDonald's, but you can't just fuck off at work and not do your job, and get paid for it. Actually I guess you can. read more

While on our way home from a trip, my friend and I stopped at this McDonalds. We ordered 4 McDoubles and 2 fries and 2 diet Cokes and received only 3 McDoubles, but that was the least of our troubles. We went through the Drive-Thru around 1am and saw friends in the lane next to us. After ordering, we pulled up to the first window and were greeted by a very nice woman and asked her to pay for our friends behind us. She was great! She made small talk with us while we waited for the line to advance and even helped us identify what our friends behind us had ordered. When we pulled up to the second window to receive our order, we began recording the reaction of our friends behind us with my friend's smartphone. While recording, we were interrupted by the woman at the window who insisted we stop recording because "it [made them] feel uncomfortable". My friend tried explaining that he was recording the car behind us and not the crew or window, to which the woman replied "fuck you, put the fucking camera down". We were completely blown away. I asked the woman for her name and told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She replied by saying "fuck you drunk motherfuckers" and the agressively handed me our food and beverages. Still shocked and aggravated, I told her I would be filing a complaint about her and told her that we were not drunk, we were just trying to film our friends reaction. She replied with "I don't give a fuck, get the fuck out of here" at which point we left and pulled over to enter the lobby to speak to a supervisor. However, the lobby was locked and the employees inside refused to respond to our request to speak to a supervisor, so instead I am writing this review. I have never been so appalled by the service I have received anywhere, ever. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I hope the employee at the second window can be identified and reprimanded. I don't advocate for anyone losing their job, but this is absolutely unacceptable. I have been coming to this McDonalds for years and have rarely visited the Burger King nor any other restaurant chains near by. That will not be the case going forward; I will likely never visit this McDonalds again. This is the first review I have written for the company and I'm sorry to say this will be the last one, because they have lost a loyal customer for good. read more

Since this Wakefield, RI locations store manager and area General Manager have chosen to ignore me (MULTIPLE times too) I guess posting a review is my only recourse. Back on September 19th, I experienced very rude treatment from the drive thru order taker and then another staff member when I paid for my food. Then when I got home, I discovered my order was prepared completely wrong and also sloppily put together in the bag. I actually called the McDonald's customer service number the following day. They told me they would forward my complaint to the store manager. The manager, who had just taken over that location, called me and apologized. I believe his name was Joe? He took my address down and promised to send me coupons for a few free meals. Well, after a month passed by I still never received the coupons. I then called the store and actually talked to the area General Manager. He apologized, said the new manager was on vacation, and that he would mail me out those coupons right away. Guess what? The coupons never came again. So, I called again and that same General Manager apologized once again and said he would send them. Well of course, they never came once again. STRIKE THREE!!! The saddest thing about this is that I am a manager at a restaurant and I pride myself in "making things right " when a customer is disappointed. My review is just one of hundreds of bad reports that this location has received. If the new manager and GM's goal was to clean this place up, they are failing miserably. read more

Today, 10/19, I walked in, there was nobody behind any of the registers, and I was the only customer. So..I waited...and waited....and waited and then I walked out. As I was leaving, someone asked, can I help you sir? I replied, no thanks and went home and made myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
