Consistently the Worst McDonald's Experience Every time I come to this McDonald's, they take my order, then have me pull forward "for a short wait," and I end up sitting there for 30 minutes--today included. All I ordered was two meals, nothing complicated. While I waited, I watched the entire drive-thru line get served and an entirely new rush come and go before I got my food. Let me be clear: this isn't the employees' fault. They're doing what they're told. The real problem is management and how this location is run. It's clearly a systemic issue when this happens every single visit. Other McDonald's--sometimes with longer lines and fewer workers--can get me the same order in under five minutes without all the chaos. The pull-ahead system here is broken. It's frustrating and honestly feels like they're just trying to make their numbers look better on paper while ignoring the actual customer experience. If I could leave two reviews I would. Zero stars for the counter people and 5 stars for the people making the food. I went in to order and the person had an attitude because I gave another customer a napkin for her Latte that had spilled all over outside the cup and I had extras in my hand. The customer left and the lady slammed the napkins on the counter and rolled her eyes and stomped away. Got home and the food was fresh and hot. Nasty coffee never know if its going to be hot, watered down, so strong it will remove rust, take for ever to get though the though at non rush hours. Constantly messing up orders. Food quantity is well just bad. My grandkids always want a happy meal chicken nuggets they always have a bitter taste and have never received a order that was hot. Have tried 4 other McDonald's and they are all the same. Oh and don't bother going in the store you can stand by the POS and have employees just look at you and not bother to help you these want to to use the electronic order board. BS If I'm paying over $3.00 for wilted fries I want to talk to a live person. The staff has to be from the rejected group of folks that could not find work anywhere else. I can't believe this kid/ young folks are what our country will be relying on as the future workforce. They gave me 8 pennies once as they didn't know a nickle and 3 pennies was 8 cents. I finally have convinced my grand kids Culver's is soo much better and the custard is better than the junk toy in a happy meal. Also Culver's stave is so over the top great!! Honestly the only good thing about this McDonald's is that they are open late. The employees are generally not friendly and a few are straight up jerks. Skip it! You would be better off getting late night food at Kwik Trip. Update: I just went to this McDonald's today and the two employees working the windows were awesome!! Super polite, very friendly, and very hard working... amazing job during the dinner rush!! They might actually turn this place around and I think that's awesome!! I went through the drive through and I was trying to place a second order for my friend and they said that they have a policy against it and we're very rude about it, I've been here multiple times and have never heard about this policy I don't recommend coming here because the food is always cold and the service is horrible. @McDonalds if you are looking for the worst location to analyze and correct, to turn around business and fight negative stereotypes, this is it. The owner should be embarrassed and employees ashamed. Every six months or so I forget how bad the service is here and come back only to be reminded how bad the service is. This time it has been a year since I've been to this s hole. Usually I'll go 5-10 miles out of the way to the Main St or Meadowbrook locations, and the food will still be warmer when I get home. And that is if it's there. Which it won't be when going to this location. #checkyourbagtheemployeesdont You'd think in the 25 minutes from ordering to getting the bag that someone who "works" there could count to 4, but you would be wrong. I went there at 1 AM after I a very long day at my work and nobody was in the drive-through, there were no cars in the parking lot, and they didn't answer their phone... Would rate 0 stars if I could, I ordered two hours before close and was asking for an Oreo McFlurry for my friend and the reply was " we have no ice cream" which you know I understand the machine might be hard to clean maybe 30 minutes before close but two hours ?? I ordered the 2 for 2.50 mix and match and got a cold cheeseburger with dried meat that's probably been there for hours and the Mc chicken was ok. Every time I go to this location, I wait forever for my food, but today was the last straw...went inside to order a large unsweetened iced tea and a small fry. After 15 minutes, I asked for a refund. This McDonalds has gone down hill big time. Everytime we go we have to spend 10 - 15 minutes waiting for our food. No one knows what they are doing and the management is pretty useless. Tonight we went through the drive thru, we ended up with cars in front of us and cars behind us so we had no choice to wait. We waited almost twenty minutes and finally just drive away. This organization is completely useless. Last night takes the cake, with the theft of our money. We have had nothing but problems with the West Ave, Waukesha, WI location for a while now. Last night, we ordered food for 10 people, through the mobile app, as we had all been at the hospital all night saying good bye to my husband's grandmother. When we arrived to pick up the food, we parked, entered our stall number, and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually we called the restaurant to find out where our food was, and were informed by... some young kid... that this 24-hour location, was closed because they were short-staffed. He informed us that we would have to call corporate to get a refund. So we called corporate moments ago, to get a refund. They informed us that they were not equipped to give refunds, and that I would have to call the store. So I called the store, and guess what... they informed me that they were not authorized to give refunds, and that I would have to call corporate. So we did, one last time, and were informed that everyone who works for the McDonald's organization are morons, liars, and thieves. Congratulations, you're losing, once loyal, customers. Last night they shut the Uber app off. So I called to ask why, they said they need a supervisor to turn it on. Understandable, so I call back 10 minutes later and ask to talk to the supervisor. Turns out the person who told me that originally was a supervisor and just too lazy to turn the app on and didn't want to work. These people want $15 an hour and won't even turn the Uber app on to send out a Big Mac than lie and get rude with customers who call them out. Worse location ever. Family member played in a band up the road. Stopped here after since we never got to eat dinner. Drove through the drive through, they tell us there closed. It's 24 hrs?!?! Called the location. Girl that answered told me they are a 24hr location. I'm not sure what it is about this particular McDonalds, but I've gotten food poisoning twice in my life, both times here. The first was 9 years ago when I went in for a late night hamburger. Thirty minutes after I ate it, my stomach said it didn't want it in there any longer. After that episode, I didn't go back for years. About a year ago, I began eating there again. A few things caught my eye...for example, the hot apple pies have a "use by" time stamp sticker on the box. I was served several that were hours past their use by time. I was also served several that had no time sticker on them, but did have the residue from a ripped off time sticker. hmmmmmm. The last time I ate there was a few weeks ago. I ate a McChicken Sandwich. Thirty minutes later...well..you know the rest of the story. I haven't been back since and am not likely to in the future. Our order is almost always correct and when its not, they let us keep what was messed up and remake it with no questions asked. Management has gotten better, my favorite managers are chad and this lady who always has her hair up in a tight bun who works feverishly to keep the place a float. read more
