Well it's McDonalds. I think everyone knows what a McDonalds is like by now but I just wanted to hit this one up cause we were in Canada and they had poutine. McDonald's in Canada is so much pricier because they don't have a dollar menu. The McChicken was like $5. We ordered the poutine for maybe $6. Honestly I expected a bigger portion. It was alright. The fries are the typical McDonald fries. The gravy is kinda gross but I like cheese curds a lot so I enjoyed that part. The whole meal mixes weirdly cause the gravy makes the fries very soggy. Maybe poutine works better with thicker fries or smth but this version of poutine left me very unimpressed. Otherwise, it had everything you expect from a McDonalds. read more

There are not many places in Whistler that are open late for food. We needed some food late one night after a long night of drinking - and so McDonald's fit the bill. Outside of a burgeoning Mc Flurry addiction and the occasional post drinking munchies, the only thing that takes me to Mc Donald's is international curiosity. (I see you Mc Kabab, Tel Aviv) Traveling to British Columbia, I could not pass up my shot at a Mc Poutine! It seems no matter where I am in the world visiting Mc Donalds, at least for me, is a result of a heavy night of bar hopping and need of a 24 hour spot to address the midnight (or 3 am) meal! This time was no different. These guys couldn't have been better, I am not sure how or why they dealt with us (and with such ease) but they handled 6 rowdy Americans harmoniously chanting "Mc Poutine, Mc Poutine" as loud as we could, later encouraging 3 french travelers and our cab driver to join us. Got us in/ out and happy and headed back to our hotel. The Mc Poutine you ask... did not disappoint. read more

We had to wait 30 minutes for two burgers, two fries and two drinks with a few cars in front of us. Only McDonalds in the village so it will be busy and they do have a drive through. Once you get inside the entry way is narrow and it's a bottle neck trying to order as they have the self order line mixed in with the regular order and pick up line so it can get confusing. The wait is what it is and the staff are friendly despite it always being busy. Washrooms are clean and when it looks super packed inside don't despair as there are more tables to the right side near the washrooms. read more

It's McDonald's. It's cheap. It taste the same here as it does in France and China. The only time I would go to this place was when I was tired and needed a cheap cup of coffee when all the other coffee shops were closed. It's fine coffee. I guess. I must say, I am so glad Whistler made them blend in with the rest of the village. The location is at the end of a building in the Market Place. Probably the best McDonalds I have ever been to. Open 24 hours, full of customers all night. They let us stay in the corner and hang all night because we had no hotel room during the Olympics. I must say the guys who work here are phenomenal. One in particular would talk to the customers, clear their trash and clean their table. This guy would talk it up about snowboarding and partying and his crazy graveyard shift. Its awkward to say this - but I had a great time at Mcdonalds. We asked for a caramel frappe which did not taste like the mcdonald's we are used to. We requested the lady that worked their at night shift to change it with a soda and she was rude in saying that we couldn't change it as it would be a loss to mcdonald's. I asked her which world she loved in, if something didn't taste right all food chains in US replaced it with no questions asked and she said "oh that is US and this is canada, here we can just replace it like for like", well lady your like is gonna also be shit like the one you gave us. After a day of boarding in Whistler and Blackcomb, we felt that we deserved to reward ourselves with some hot fudge and caramel sundaes. So we came to this McDonald's. the Chocolate Raspberry Pie caught our eyes, so we also got a couple to try since we don't have them in Los Angeles. It was pretty good. I think I like the Banana Creme Pie from the Hawaii McDonald's better, though. However, we could not leave without getting some chicken mcnuggets and a couple of large fries to share. I actually really enjoy McDonald's food. I used to go to this location 2-3 times a week. The past 2-3 years the service has completely deteriorated to a point where I refuse to go there. They just don't care about their customers. I do understand it's McDonald's and I should have any expectations but these new managers and staff are atrocious. The presentation is ridiculous, there's absolutely no care on how they put the food together. They are rude and condescending. I'm so disappointed. The wifey says the chocolate raspberry pie was pretty darn good. They don't have that in L.A. The McDonalds M has a Canadian leaf in it. Kinda cool. All in all, typical Micky D's. lil pricey though maybe it's because it's near the resort. read more

The 2 star rating is as a reference to this specific McDonalds. I.e. I know exactly what I'm getting and would generally give them a 3 stars but the new layout (new to me anyways - I haven't been to this McDs in a long while) sucks. Very difficult to line up (like cattle) and there's nowhere to wait. Whoever designed this one should be fired. read more

This was the only place open at 3 am on the way home from Pemberton Music Fest 2016. Of course the staff didn't seem to be prepared by the long line up of stoned kids and hungry adults who didn't want to eat on the grounds in fear of losing their spot for Pearl Jam. I got some coffee, bummed some WIFI while waiting for a cab to take us to creekside and some fries. Slow service understandably given the volume, however, we got the correct order which was appreciated. read more

I have never experienced such poor customer service from any other food establishment. I am a 27 yr old female, i visited this location on a trip to whistler and I was disgusted by the way i was treated here. I went through drive through, paid close to $40 for my food and was given the wrong bag with 1 meal in it. At the time it was approximately 3am so I went inside to deal with the matter, the security guard working there told me to leave and I said no because I was not given the food that I paid for! He told me again to wait outside and again I said no, at that time he took my arm, put it behind my back and aggressively pushed me out. I will not let this inexcusable behaviour go ignored. A huge thank you to the staff that was working October 25 at about 1:30am. It was the end of an excellent day of drinking. We were getting our grease filled pre-bedtime meals. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that there were minion buckets, and I got it in my head that I looked absolutely silly carrying my bag of food and required a bucket. But alas, McDouble's do not come in a bucket. I was drunkenly infuriated, how DARE they not give me a bucket to carry my hard earned meal home. I needed this! After a friend (clearly more sober to handle the situation) inquired with a staff, they handed me over a bucket with smiles on their faces. You guys totally made my night!! You went above and beyond and made a drunk lady very pleased. I cannot thank you enough, and wish I could remember the names of the people that helped (I tried, but turns out reading names and remembering them while drunk is hard).
