XL Meat lovers regular crust on the left and a medium gluten free Deluxe on the right
Shirley C.

Cold wet summer day on the Westcoast is typical and calls for an evening of take out pizza! So of course we order from Avalanche pizza for their large selection and optional gluten free crust! We ordered an XL regular crust Meatlovers pizza and it was huge! The crust is thick and crunchy with a good amount of chew without giving you lockjaw like some! Generously topped with an assortment of meats, you'll have enough for breakfast or lunch For smaller appetites or those with wheat sensitivities, the gluten free crust is great. It's crispy and thin, a little on the chewier side than some I've had, but nonetheless a good crust. We ordered the Deluxe gluten-free option and again it was generously topped and still nice and hot by the time we got back to the condo.

After seeing a movie, we decided on something quick and had been here before (about two years ago). I remember it being good, so much so that I planned on coming back, but this most recent experience was not great. There were a few different pizza options, so we asked the guy working what they were. As he answered, what he was saying and what it looked like did not match, he also gave us a quizzical look like, "I'm not sure, but guessing it is this". After ordering two slices, I was happy with the price of 6 CAD. We took a seat at one of the three tables. Each were dirty with salt and pizza crumbs. Both pieces were weird. One looked as if it was a mushroom pizza but also had gorgonzola on the top but not on the bottom. It was so bad, I couldn't finish it. The other piece was mushroom and bacon, however the sauce had a funky taste to it I was not able to place. I'm not sure what happened because, really, any kind of pizza is good, even bagel bites, but I don't think I can ever come back here now.

Stopped in for a few slices. Check-in on Yelp and got a sweet discount, 25%off, go get it. Got Canadian bacon and pineapple while new hot pizzas are coming out.

We ordered a 14" deluxe pizza here, and it cost roughly $28 Canadian, which I believe is about $20 USD. In all honesty, this is way too much for a pizza, but you have to remember two things: 1. Canadian food prices are higher than America's prices on average. 2. This is sort of a luxury resort, so the fact that food prices are high is not really surprising. Still, the pizza here was only okay. We ordered and we were quoted at a 20 minute wait, so we took a spin around the grounds. The people who operate the stop are reasonably nice (Australian, like everyone else is here at Whistler), though they seem a little hapless. If you want to eat some decent pizza at an expensive price point, this is your spot.

This definitely wasn't some of the best pizza we ever had but wasn't bad either. They sell pizza by the slice which was what we were after. Split a few different pieces, got two dipping sauces and a drink for $15 or so I think. The gal at the register was nice even though it was busy. We had to sit outside in the cold as this spot is very small so be prepared to do that or stand if it's winter. There are several pizza places so give em a try.

Pizza here wasn't too good. They took it out of the display case (lukewarm) and put it right on our plates. Maybe we just got a bad pie?

Supposed to be extra cheese and white sauce lol

I just ordered through door dash and my order was not correct and I did not receive my drink. The customer service was trash. The pizza is trash. I would not recommend going to this place. Save you money. It's pure trash. I asked for light sauce and extra cheese lol

Very mediocre pizza

Pizza here is very mediocre. The pros are that it's fast, cheap, and comes out fresh. If you're looking for good pizza go to Antica (great thin crust) or try Tony's. I walked by and it smelled so good!

I went for a couple of slices at the end of the night, they didn't look good so I ordered a fresh pizza. That was pretty good I have to say.

Sub par and only ate here because of a late night delivery open recommendation from Glacier Lodge. Nothing fancy. Wood fired pizza much better!

Called in a order togo and it was a very easy process. The pizza was basic and nothing to go out of your way but was reasonably priced.

Bland pizza and chewy garlic bread. It was about an hour wait on a Tuesday night. It was all just meh.

Worst pizza ever! No flavour, thin crust that was worse than a frozen pizza, sparse toppings and barely any cheese! Don't recommend.

There are so many places in the Village in Whistler to eat it was a hard choice, but we decided to…read moregive Peaked Pies a try for lunch. Others have said they aren't traditional Aussie pies and I get that if that is your expectation. I always try to appreciate the cafe for their take on the food items. Peaked Pies didn't disappoint. It is a small spot with just a few tables outside and a few tables inside. The eatery gets pretty busy so we felt lucky to get a table inside. They have a lot of choices and we settled on the ones we wanted to try. I went with the veggie pie and added the mushy style peas, mashed potatoes and gravy to the top. Mr. B decided on the Kangaroo pie after talking to the staff. He was a little leary of where the Kangaroo came from, but we were told there is a farm in British Columbia that raises them, so he wanted to try something he had never had. Please see the note below about the kangaroo. There is a correction. The pies came out and were quite large, but we must have been hungry and they were scrumptious we finished them off. Let's start with the veggie pie. It was filled with veggies, carrots, potatoes, onion, corn, celery and yams. The sauce is a coconut milk based sauce and was creamy. The Hopper, with ground kangaroo was lovely. The pie is filled with ground kangaroo, and I mean ground, it was fine meat and stuffed full with a Cabernet Merlot Balsamic Reduction that balanced the sweetness of the meat. The service was great, the staff was nice, and helpful. Great choice. NOTE: I received a correction from the owner of Peaked Pies after posting this review. The Kangaroo is not sourced from British Columbia as we were told. While the food was excellent this was disappointing to hear. Mr. B specifically asked where the kangaroo was sourced as he didn't want frozen and would have ordered something else. I wanted to let you all know I was wrong as we were given inaccurate information from the staff.

We tried a mix of savory and sweet Australian style pies -- chicken mushroom, steak bacon & cheese, steak & mushroom, plus the apple crumble and mixed berry pies -- and every single one hit. Flaky crust, hearty fillings, and packed with flavor across the board. All were FANTASTIC. We also wanted to try the kangaroo (The Hopper) and spinach & ricotta roll, but will need to return for those. The butter chicken and beef curry looked tempting, too. Extra hungry? Add a topping of mashed potatoes, mushed peas and gravy to your pie! Perfect spot to grab a warm meal after being out in the cold, or even just a quick bite while walking through the village. Simple, satisfying, and done right.

A Hidden Gem for Healthy Fast Food Lovers…read more I've been here several times now, and it's quickly become one of my go-to spots -- especially on those rushed mornings when breakfast or lunch just doesn't happen. What makes this place stand out is how well it balances convenience with clean eating. Whether you're counting calories, tracking your protein, or just trying to make better food choices, this is one of the rare spots where "fast food" doesn't mean compromising on nutrition or quality. You can eat healthy here -- like, actually healthy -- without it being boring or bland. Everything is made fresh right in front of you, and you can really see the care that goes into prepping each meal. The menu has plenty of variety, with something for just about every dietary need or craving -- from protein-packed meals to lighter options. The staff is consistently warm and professional. They greet you with a smile, remember your face (and sometimes even your usual order), and make you feel genuinely welcome. That kind of service is rare these days. The space itself is small but cozy -- not crowded or chaotic. It's got a chill vibe that makes it easy to sit down, take a breath, and enjoy your food in peace.
