We are both lap swimmers and we needed some fuel ! Inside the Shell gas station is their chicken and burgers. They are also very busy! The gas here is Shell. Pumps were working well and the area felt safe and well kept. They have a clean restroom located on the outside of the farm market building, super convenient, especially when you're on the road. That makes a big difference during a long drive. And also there's a tacos stand nearby on the street.

However, there are other great restaurants off the same offramp. Including La Fortuna bakery. The name bakery is a bit of a misnomer. While they do have one in the back, it is in the back through three or four different rooms before you get to it. Between the street and there you will find a full market and in the very front is one of the best quick grab and go Mexican restaurants. That's what this review is about. Call them ahead of time, so it's ready when you pull through to pick it up. Excellent food. Consistent throughout. And friendly service.

It is located to the left of Loves gas station ( off highway 5). My classic roast beef was good..Plenty of meat. She tried the new French dip Royale. I had a couple bites but I didn't like the cheese on it and onions were somewhat mushy. The fries were stale. Disappointing because I have always had a consistently good fast food meal here.
