Probably my 100th or so McDonald's restaurant, I've been to two dozen countries and most of the states and I like checking out the spots in different countries for the other menu offerings. Today was a quick stop for a breakfast snack before hiking. As you can see in the picture my sausage McMuffin was hastily thrown together with a piece of cold, unmelted, cheese. Food is good, no concerns. Diet Coke never tastes like Diet Coke, it tastes like Seltzer so I no longer purchase. I tried several times over a year, so gave it a good try. It's overdramatic, I know, but I will never forgive this location for forgetting my four piece chicken nuggets, then refusing to refund me or give me the chicken nuggets after. Even when I submitted a complaint online and provided all the information they requested - reciept, time of order, name of the employee who handed it to me - McDonald's just said 'sorry you weren't satisfied with your service'. As usual, McD's delivers here. Friendly quick service at the drive thru. The two McChickens we ordered were fresh and hot, the large fries right out of the fryer and crunchy. Price was right, food as expected. Would return here again. McD's packaging for a long time has been earth friendly. A little disappointed in their new 'freeze' concoctions using plastic cups. Where to begin when we pulled up to give order code for mobile app I stated I'd like to order another Oreo pie on a separate order and was told no. Further more 35 mins waiting for a burger that should have been in the bag to begin with in a vehicle for that long with babies not kids screaming but babies for something that should have been made to begin with but nope had to wait for the orders taken after the issue was stated oh The great part is even after they left it off the order and it was reordered at the front register they sure made sure to smother that bad boy in all of the fixings that were stated in a food allergy concern. I am a McDonald person. I love MCD! Sadly the Woodland location is not putting out good quality products regularly. Cold fries, black sesame seeds on my quarter pounder bun, and burnt buns on my chicken sandwich. The food prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Asked to fix my order and got an eye roll. I am the Varsity volleyball coach at Columbia Adventist Academy. We had a match against Wahkiakum HS in Cathlamet, and our match ran a little late. As our busload of athletes and coaches (about 25 of us) were looking for spots to stop and grab a bite to eat we elected to stop at this particular McDonalds. We checked the door, and it was locked and the only thing that was opened was the drive-thru. Well, unfortunately our bus is not allowed through the drive-thru. Luckily for us, one of the gals working there, had overheard one of our players mentioned they needed a bathroom, as she was emptying their trash receptacle outside of the restaurant. She was gracious enough to say that because we were hungry and cold, that we could come in and order our food. They were in the process of cleaning, but they accomodated us and filled our orders! That was such a classy move by them and we all appreciated their kindness and excellent customer service! If you need to stop at any McDonalds, stop here and show them some love because this simple act of kindness needs to be rewarded, so others can experience their excellent service! Wow! Did I really just say that for McDonald's? I don't even know where Woodland is! This is probably one of the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to; I stopped in on my way from Seattle to Portland. When you enter, there are brick walls, new tables, flatscreen TVs and free wireless internet. This was also one of the newer locations with a coffee bar where you can get cappuccinos, lattes and smoothies. In the end, when I got my breakfast sandwich I was reminded that McDonald's is McDonald's. Your standard greasy fair that feels like a lead balloon after you have eaten. Still, makes for a good rest stop location and a very quick bite to eat while you're on the road. Right next to a gas station and Safeway. read more

5 Stars for a McDonalds? Am I crazy? Perhaps.... This McDonalds serves as a perfect stopping point for travels home from Seattle to Portland. The location is located in a Safeway shopping center parking lot and has a very new and well kept feel to it. The prices at this McDonalds are on the lower end of the McDonalds pricing scale which is also a plus. The best part though is they have large screen tv's to enjoy, very clean restrooms, free wifi and an incredible amount of AC outlets to charge your electronics. It is very clear that the owner of this McDonalds cares about their store and designed it knowing who their target customer would be and excelled at this. Kudos to this McDonalds. The staff also did what was expected very well, they quickly greeted, served fresh food quickly and were polite and welcoming. Nothing incredible about the service, but for McDonalds no complaints at all. read more

Took my grandson here for lunch, to find a man sleeping in the dining room. I called it took them ten minutes to come and wake him up! He has a cup that looks like it came from the trash. No exactly a comfortable feeling. Workers keep delivering food to cars in the drive through and look and him and keep walking. There was even a Lady wiping tables and glanced at him and kept cleaning. Manager in green shirt came out woke him up and told him he needed to keep moving that customers were getting upset. He got up filled his Coke and went to the other side of the restaurant. Now he has been in the men's room for at least 15 minutes, who knows maybe sleeping in there. He still isn't out I really think that with all of the employees that I'm seeing someone should follow up on this vagrants where about's. He is now out with his cup that he put in a plastics bag (for his next visit) takes his backpack from under a table and left the building. In the future I will using the drive-thru! read more
