Noticing our girl's arthritis was getting worse, and the light in her eyes was not what it once was, we decided it was time to let our girl rest in peace. After much research/phone calls, we decided on Peaceful Passing to come to our home. We had to schedule about a week and a half out (quite daunting to know a date was coming), and we took care of payment in advance. The day of, they called us asking how we would like to remit payment (ugh). I made flower leis for our girl and my toddler son to wear, as we wanted to have her collar, and we waited for the call that the Dr was about 10 min out...then I broke down. After the Dr came, and she was at peace, we spent some time with her saying goodbye. She was taken with her blanket she was on, and we requested for it back. When it came time to pick her up, there was no blanket (I realized when I got home). I called, and they said they would look into it. A couple days later, they said it's ready to be picked up and they found it; I got it, and it smelled strong like Tide...which we don't use. After my mind went crazy with assumptions, I called them asking for an explanation; the blanket was washed because of bodily fluids, and they sent it home with another family! I was so sad that it didn't have her smell anymore, and that they mixed that up, and didn't tell me. My trust for them really went out the window with this ending...and wasn't really impressed with their presentation (we got a white gift bag, no writing, and a tin box). Hope this helps to make an informed decision about the Rainbow Bridge Transition

I called Peaceful Passing the morning of New Year's Eve to see if they had any availability. Not only were they kind but they were quick to offer options to suit our schedule on the same day. Upon arrival Dr. Megan and her technician were calm and comforting as we took the final steps to assist out 17 year old cat to the other side. She was able to pass peacefully in the comfort of our arms with dignity. I wouldn't hesitate to use their service again and would highly recommend to others.

She didn't introduce herself, didn't ask my name, and immediately began lecturing me about one of my other dogs, Bear, claiming he "didn't look well." Bear is under the care of a top-rated general vet and the leading neurological specialist in Arizona. She insisted our veterinarians were wrong and "didn't know what they were doing," which was completely inappropriate and irrelevant to why she was here. I repeatedly asked her to focus on Zeus, who was battling cancer and ready to cross the rainbow. Instead of compassion, she made an already devastating day even harder. When it came time for the euthanasia, she struggled to find a vein and roughly manipulated his leg for nearly ten minutes while he lay there and I was sobbing. She then attempted a heart stick, but her hands were shaky and her approach was harsh, as if he were an object rather than our beloved family member. Her lack of professionalism, skill, and empathy turned one of the most painful days of our lives into something traumatic. She showed no sympathy, no gentleness, and made us feel guilty at a moment when we needed support. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not trust her with any animal.

There is so much peace knowing my sweet boy was comfortable, safe, and not rushed in his final moments. I will forever be so thankful I found Pets at Peace and for the experience. The touch that really got me was when my sweet boy was on the stretcher, she made sure to tuck him in all cozy with a blanket. 10/10, will always recommend people here when they have to say goodbye. So much peace in doing it at home, and doing it with such an incredible person. Thank you so much. Bringing my boy home was so smooth as well. The company called me about a week after my appointment with Dr. Tiffany, and scheduled his delivery to come home (I chose this instead of pickup). They treated him with so much respect as well. They chose their wording so carefully "bringing Ranger home" and never referred to him as ashe's or remains, they chose their wording so careful and considerately on the call and drop off and were so kind throughout the whole process. My sweet boy is home now, and I couldn't be more grateful for Pets at Peace and Dr Tiffany. Thank you

Apparently she got into a cat fight and the puncture wounds on her belly abscessed rather quickly. I called several mobile vets in the hopes they could come to me as my cat was incredibly stressed and fearful and I didn't want to exacerbate it by taking her to our regular vet who only had long waits and no appointments available. When I called the office manager Tammy said they didn't have any appointments available, and that the vet tech had already gone home for the day, but after we spoke about what was going on she told me "hold on" and when she came back to the phone she said they were going to come to me right away. I could tell how much she cared about my cat just from our conversation. Dr. Garthe was wonderful with my poor grumpy girl, who isn't much of a people cat. She had her calmed (as calm as an in pain cat can be) and drained and cleaned the wound, and then taught me how to care for it. Today shes eating, drinking and even playing again! Its very apparent that she truly cares about our fur babies, and I would call her again in a heartbeat if I needed her. I would give an arm and a leg for my cat, but at the end of the day the superb care she provided was incredibly affordable. I would recommend Dr. Garthe to anyone looking for someone that cares about their animals like they're their own. Thank you Dr. Garthe, and Tammy, you were an incredible assistant! I'm eternally grateful.

Dr. Ryan Pearce is a licensed DVM who safely performs in-home euthanasia and is proficient in palliative care, pain management, and humane end-of-life protocols. Throughout the process, Dr. Pearce was professional, considerate, and incredibly patient, even helping me locate my cat while she was hiding among moving boxes. The arrangements were deeply respectful of my grief; Dr. Pearce prepared a quiet, comfortable space for Princess and provided a pink pillow and blanket for her transport afterward. I highly recommend this outstanding veterinarian for this challenging but necessary service.

Making the decision to say goodbye to my French bulldog, Rambo, was one of the hardest things I've…read moreever had to do. Rambo was my baby, and I was absolutely dreading this moment. With a decision like this comes so much doubt and guilt. You question whether you're doing the right thing, whether they might somehow pull through, and the emotional weight can feel overwhelming. On September 21st, 2023 Dr. Ryan Pearce lifted that weight from my heart. From the moment he arrived, he approached everything with compassion, calm, and professionalism. He gently explained just how sick Rambo truly was and gave me reassurance that choosing euthanasia was an act of love, not failure. He answered every question we had, never rushed us, and gave our family the time and space we needed both before and after Rambo passed. His wife, Jessica, was just as thoughtful and kind. She later hand-delivered Rambo's ashes in a beautiful wooden urn. They also provided two paw print molds, one for me and one for my mom along with several stamped paw prints. One was even framed and sits on my dresser to this day. Although I may have read about these keepsakes on their website while searching through my grief, receiving them felt like the most meaningful and comforting surprise. Being able to share those pieces with my mom meant so much. Two years before losing Rambo, I had used another in-home service that was good but Dr. Pearce and Jessica were truly exceptional. Their compassion, attention to detail, and genuine care made an unbearable day more peaceful. On February 11th, 2026, we chose them again because of the experience we had. It was time to say goodbye to Cinco, my sister's dog, who my mom had taken in and cared for. Cinco was 16 years old and had outlived all of our other dogs. Losing her felt especially heavy for my mom. There was something about her being the last one, the one who had been there through everything, that made the grief deeper and it still is. In a time when it feels like you cannot possibly make it through the pain, Dr. Pearce's kindness and steady presence helped relieve some of that weight. That kind of compassion stays with you. We are forever grateful that both Rambo and Cinco were able to pass with dignity, love, and gentleness. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Selena, Jeanne and Tyree

From the moment I got on the call, they were caring, kind and patient through my tears and brain fog. They made scheduling easy, payment convenient and had it all set up for me so all I had to do was be present on the day of euthanasia. Our veterinarian was Tali T in Phoenix and I HIGHLY recommend her. She was patient, explained everything with care and attention before beginning, and allowed me to pace the appointment. She didn't rush me at all. I also loved that she didn't seem to try to fill the space or give me sentiments. She sat with me in my grief. It was such a wonderful gift. Tali went above and beyond by clipping my girls hair and putting it in a keepsake jar provided by her and helping me to make nose and paw impressions with materials I had purchased. She helped me tenderly place my pup into her final resting place in my yard and slipped out quietly so that I could have my last moments with her. About 3 weeks after my pets death, I received a hand written note in the mail from Tali. It was such a kind hearted, wonderful note. I don't know how I got so lucky to have this angel by my side through my pups death, but I am so grateful I did. She (and the Blue Pearl Hospice Team) helped me do the unbearable, and for that I am eternally grateful.

This is the first time I've said goodbye to a pup in our home. Not having to drive Benny Boy to the vet in anticipation of what the appointment would be like - a white sterile room with cold floors..... made such a difference in saying goodbye. He sat on his blanket, in his favorite spot, and with his head resting on me the entire time. The kisses he gave me during the whole experience were so very special to me. He wasn't scared. He still felt love. Dr. Elena was squeezed into a small space, sat behind him (which wasn't done at the vet's office) and I don't think he knew she was even there, she was so gentle and non-intrusive. She was reassuring and gently would explain what she's doing and what Benny Boy was experiencing - and that his breathing and movements were all normal. All I had to do was look at her with a questioning face, and she knew what I was asking. Having my other pup, (Blue) there was also special.
