Overall the food is good. Service is a little slow but they cooking everything to order (very fresh and HOT). I did put a big order in, so y'all could see this goodness. They have limited seating so if you take a big party try to avoid the lunch rush. My only complaint is on the Italian beef. They chopped the meat up too small. Made a mess and went everywhere when I tried to eat it. The 7up cake is moist and delicious, definitely getting that again.

First time trying this restaurant. The moment I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest lady taking orders behind the counter. The restaurant itself was also very clean and orderly. Now to the best part...the food! I ordered a 6pc catfish nugget crispy with fries (not pictured because I ate it before I left the parking lot). The fish came out piping hot, well seasoned and crispy. The fries are house cut. The only critique I would have is to have my fries fried a little longer so they are crispy. Overall they were good though. Now to the very best part. Pictured here the Italian Beef. This thing was busting at the seams with very well seasoned beef, loaded with hot peppers (my request), and I also got mine dipped. I could not have been happier with this beef! I've been to Chicago for the real deal and this is the closest I've had in Louisville by far! So if you're looking for somewhere new in Louisville that has a huge menu, fresh food, and great customer service, look no further!

McGees is an amazing family owned restaurant with great food that gives that Chicago feel. I highly recommend.

Parking is limited and a little inconvenient, right along side a road with moderate traffic. That said, the service was impressively fast and I waited less than 10 minutes for my food. Food: The Hot Chicken Sandwich meal $12.99 - Comes with two sides and served on a bun with pickles and coleslaw. I got the Hot heat level. The chicken was juicy inside, you get two large tenders on a bun. The chicken is nicely breaded and the louis sauce on top was great. Even though the flavors were were on point, the bun was disappointingly cold, just a plain hamburger bun straight from the bag. Potato salad - extremely creamy looking but pretty standard flavorwise. I liked how it was sort of a mix between mashed potatoes and potato salad but the flavor was average. Coleslaw - pretty standard with a part vinegar and mayo base, leaned more toward the vinegar. Not bad The Louie sauce - very unique, like a chipotle ranch thousand island style blend, was a nice sweet and peppery combo. I liked it a lot. Smoked Wings - $1.75 each - decent size, but lots of flavor. Dry rub only, but these were incredibly smoky and sweet, never seen them done that way. The flat i had was a little dry but the drumstick was nice and juicy, I guess its a gamble. Tennesee Wings- breaded, deep fried, then sauced. These were massice, maybe twice the size of the smoked wings. I got Hot heat level again and these were making me sweat. Super juicy inside with a nice crispy outer crust though. WAY better than a spot like Indi's thats for sure. Overall pretty good spot, I'd recommend just skipping the sides and getting both types of wings.

We were able to sit, visit, order and eat, have birhday cake (which we brought), open presents and not feel rushed or pressured tp leave the establishment. Over the two days we shared, nachos (loaded with bacon, chicken, cheese, and chives) a hamburger and fries, korean bbq and hibachi chicken. All were extremely tasty, with the exception of the Korean bbq, which was just OK. We went back for the hibachi chicken it was good good. You prder at onw of the 4 counters ,pay and are given a number to pur on your table. They then bring the food to your table. The chef from the hibachi vendor came to check on us adter we were eating to see of we were satisfied. That was kind. Both days they were out of egg rolls. It feels like someone tried to make a ghost kitchen into a tourist attraction. Not a good combo. To steal from another review: who is this for? One positive though: I love that they provide sanitary wipes at each table to wipe it down yourself. Some could argue that should be the server's job- and it definitely should be, but it's nice to be able to do it to my standards.

Every course was beautifully executed, with standout dishes throughout the evening--especially the duck confit, which was absolutely incredible. One of the most memorable highlights was the BLT amuse-bouche--so unique and creative, and a perfect introduction to the meal. The wine pairings were thoughtfully selected and complemented each course beautifully. The service was also top-notch--attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced throughout the evening. For a tasting menu of this caliber, the price felt very reasonable and well worth it. Overall, an outstanding dining experience. We absolutely loved it and would gladly return.

Halibut and PEI mussels were incredible. Kalbi braised short ribs were incredible. Dining room is small, open and dim, maybe 20 tables. Music is contemporary and nice, kept at a volume that allows easy, quiet conversation. Service is very professional and respectful but not, like, "elite" -- we're still in Louisville. Cost is very high by Louisville standards at $125/person, but I'd say worth it for a 5-course prix fixe menu: an amuse-bouche, 2 seafood courses, a pasta course, a meat entree, and a dessert. I'd recommend skipping the wine pairing and just ordering your own drink(s), the pairing's a $65 add-on and didn't deepen the flavor experience for me. I also think the smoky bourbon dessert is made more for the 'Gram but it's fine, the lemon mochi cake was better. Also read the bill, even tho you'll wanna be classy and act rich when it comes. I think they add gratuity automatically to all bills (they did to ours as a table of 2) -- and that's fine, I actually appreciated it, just check so you don't accidentally double-tip (or do, but do so knowingly). Overall 610 is a lovely, quietly-chic restaurant at the top of the Louisville dining scene, leaning much harder on quality dishes prepared extremely well than on flashiness or gimmicks to set itself apart. I look forward to going back.
