Had an oil change with a coupon. When I received the bill the total cost was about 65% higher than the coupon price. I could not read, understand the statement and the extra charges because they used regular prices on the statement and then they say they deduct the coupon at the end. They acted like it was no big deal and they understood to bill when I asked for explanation for but I didn't understand anything other than they stuck me with this and that to jack up the price. $34.99 coupon, walked out with a $58 bill.

Saturday March 21, 2020 - March 25, 2020 I had been thinking about buying a new car for a while. Specifically a Toyota Camry LE. I went by McGeorge Toyota to get an appraisal on my Kia. Explained pretty clear what my needs were ie: what I would accept for my trade in, how much I needed my car payment to be etc... The salesman said he could probably get me in a Corolla for what I want and initially I was open to that. Then I thought and said "I have a 15 year old grandson who is 6'2 285lbs so I think the Camry would suit me better. A Little time went by and I just suggested that he call me when they finished with my appraisal because I had other things to do. I told the sales person we would go from there once I knew how much I would get for my car. The salesman said, "are you going to pick up your big ass grandson?" Completely out of line! We hadn't spent more than 30 minutes together so why he thought that was appropriate I have no idea. A few texts went back and forth and they were not good either. He was pretty much like, are you going to buy the car or not. Needless to say I wasn't going to give him a dime of my money. Plus, he couldn't or wouldn't answer any of my questions and I don't do blind business. I was so taken back by this brief but horrible experience I called the General Manager Bob Farlow. I Left a message on his voicemail to please give me a call the following day because this day was almost over and I needed to go to work. Towards the end of the next day I hadn't heard from Mr. Farlow so I called again and left another message. I then get a phone call from the finance manager Gregory George. Mr. George wasn't any better than the salesman, who I unfortunately don't even remember his name. When I mentioned I really wanted to speak to Mr. Farlow to express my feelings about my experience and the unprofessionalism of his salesman. He said Mr. Farlow was in meetings and I could talk to him. I said fine. I told him about the comment the salesman made about "my big ass grandson" and he pretty much made an excuse saying he didn't hear him say anything and if he did he would've gotten up and said something. He also said he isn't saying the salesman didn't say that, he's just saying if he heard it he would've said something. To me he was making excuses and justifying it. I said "ok fine, that's not all. Let me tell you what he texted me, hold on I'm looking now." He pretty much cut me off and it was evident and he didn't want to hear what I had to say and I said such. But he insisted that if I wanted to talk about it he would listen. However, it was irrelevant and we should just move forward. These are not his exact words but this is pretty much how it went. So out of curiosity I'll let him explain what was going on and he said he could get my APR at five point something. I told him I needed to look at my insurance and a couple other things and I would get back to him. Absolutely no intention of getting back to him. The next day I received a text from the salesman apologizing. My recommendation would be for no one to go to McGeorge Toyota and be treated in such ways that a person should not have to deal with it. Especially when one is spending thousands of dollars. See my review on Haley Toyota on Midlothian.

2nd ETA - When Shane saw my updated reviews, he felt the need to text me at 6:30 am not once, but three times. Completely unprofessional and also uncalled for, especially with the smiling and laughing emojis. Please do yourself a favor and avoid working with Shane as he is not only unprofessional, but very childish. Had he not ignored me when I text with a simple follow up question, I would not have felt the need to change his review. I will be reaching out to a sales manager to discuss the inappropriate behavior on Monday. ETA - Shane was great when it comes to buying a car from him, but don't expect answers to any questions you may have after the fact. He tells you please reach out if you need anything and ignores you until his calendar tells him to text you again. Really unfortunate, but to be expected from someone who wants to sell you things I guess. Worried only about his commission and not his customers. I worked with Shane and had a wonderful experience! He worked hard to make this an easy process from beginning to end. He was prompt about answering my questions prior to coming in and had vehicles I was interested in ready and waiting for test drive. He made sure to give me a good trade in value for my vehicle and helped accommodate my budget for my new vehicle. Shane was the true definition of a professional and worked to get me into the car I really loved! Even with a mask on, you could tell he was smiling. I love my new car and certainly recommend McGeorge! Ask for Shane!

This is the worst dealership I have ever visited. Regardless of what you ask, you always feel like a burden to them. Would never come here.

I bought the service package and I'm doubtful that anything was done. And when it came to certain things that needed to be done outside my service package, the price was enough to make you think it's time to just get rid of the car. I just can't seem to trust these people. My experience: I had an intermittent issue, I brought the car in and they said it was fine. It happened again a day after I got my car back. The next available appointment was several weeks later. I book my appointment and several weeks later I bring my car back. This time the car is acting up up to the point I drop off my car. The service advisor checks it out while I'm checking it in and says it's working. I could tell he thinks it's user error but he said he would "pull the codes." (Strange that he didn't mention he pulled codes the first time) He calls me 30mins later and said they found nothing. I get the car back and it's still acting up. I ended up going to the VW dealership on the other side of town. Come to find out, they are busy but they have many appointments available and I was able to get one within 3 days. Once again, the car is working fine when I get to the dealership. The service advisor said that it's ok, they would pull the codes. I get a call 30 mins later and the service advisor tells me they found a problem! I feel like the only thing west broad VW overlooked was that the issue was not user error.

I asked each dealer to provide written quotes so I could compare everything clearly and consistently. I detailed the exact specs/trim I was looking for. Prior to sending that message, about a week previously I did visit this dealership in person and completed a test drive. They were friendly during this visit, and I liked that they left me take the vehicle out by myself with no time constraints. Following that visit, I received multiple follow-ups, every day, over the next week across texts, phone calls, and emails (all on the same day). While I understand the importance of follow-up, the frequency felt excessive--especially since I had not responded or engaged further. When it came time to give me quotes, communication didn't align with my request to handle things in writing. Instead of receiving a clear written quote early on, I was asked to discuss details over the phone. I had specifically asked to keep communication via email to stay organized. The initial quote I did receive was for a vehicle with over 7,000 miles, which I later confirmed was a manager-driven/demo vehicle. The mileage was not disclosed from the outset, and the pricing was not competitive compared to other dealers offering actual new vehicles. After that, there were attempts to reconnect and reset the conversation, but I never received a clean, written quote on a new vehicle that matched my requested configuration. Just a request for me to call them on the phone and talk. I already had six quotes in hand from other dealers on vehicles with 0 to 15 miles, with all but one of them cheaper than what they quoted for a car with 7,000+ miles on it. In the end, I chose to move forward with another dealer who gave a great quote the first time in writing, included an accessory package as well, and made it a simple and straightforward process. I trust these folks are nice people based on my initial interactions, but folks are usually nice when they are trying to attract a sale. I appreciate the effort to follow up, but overall the experience didn't align with what I was looking for in the buying process or respectful of the information I provided to all dealers to give a level playing field (give me your best quote upfront then I'm making a decision the next day).

In our case, we had an unusual set of transportation needs. We were looking for a high-end RV to support our plans for cross-country roadtrips. Suffice it to say that our needs didn't match the typical run-of-the-mill item in Gary's inventory. But, leave it to Gary to find what we were looking for... A beautiful, previously owned, low-mileage, pristine condition, Mercedes/Airstream RV! Who could have imagined?!? It has proven to be the ideal vehicle for us and we love it!. This is a great illustration of the lengths Gary will go to in order to make new friends and satisfied customers. We managed to conclude a transaction for the RV quickly and easily. Gary and the other members of his team were very helpful and wonderful to work with. Gary is very personable and plain-spoken in helping to find the right vehicle at the right price.
