The manager is rude and unprofessional. Called my daughter names when asking a simple question about site service we pay for. The camp ground gives special treatment to the renters of their choice. The staff seem to be a bunch friends of the manager who don't know how to do their jobs and don't care to learn. The public bathrooms are always dirty and they just keep painting over the dirt and rust. Rent keeps going up with no facility improvements to show for it. This used to be a fun place to bring the family, the people there used to be friendly and neighborly. So glad to be leaving this park. Will not be back and do not recommend. read more

Used to come here often when it was decent. Came a couple years ago during the weekend and it was pretty ghetto. The people there didn't care about the place. We were in the water and got to see a human poop float by us along the beach area. Nasty. Went again today to give it another try. Got there early and there was trash all over the beach. All the cans were overflowing and trash had blown all over. Told the workers in the store. They finally sent someone out to clean it up at about 1:00. My husband and I traveled there wants to stay couple nights but when we asked to go to see the area guy with terrible attitude deny but latter a lady showed us the area. The area was terrible as well as the management, trash everywhere, dirty bathrooms, Not enough light, if your kids wants to play next to river they definitely getting hurt because of broken glasses there. Took our new toy out and used their electrical and water hook ups. Place was family oriented. Your neighbors are close but all were friendly and said they've visited for years. Office, store and water all nearby of our spot. Staff was friendly and kept the place up. The 2 water areas we tried were set up with canopy and people get there early with boats and ski. Water is fresh with current constly flowing. Strong winds and hot weather but areas with shade and picnic tables. read more

It was clean, staff was super friendly and it wasn't that expensive. It's small not too fancy but has everything you need for a river camping weekend. It's HOT. Bring lots of water. Bring shade (pop up) If you like to fish its great and just a few minutes drive from other fishing spots If you have never been to Blythe before there's not much there. Very small rural farming town so don't expect much there. However its a great get away from the city. read more

Well, I don't really like to post negative reviews but this place has earned one. Been going there for about fifteen years. With three females in my family it was a welcome reprise from the Havasu/Parker s&!% show. Grass, flush toilets, showers and exceptional water. In the last few years it has fallen into a steady state of decline. The grass is more dead that alive, the bathrooms are a disgrace (same toilet paper on the men's bathroom floor for three days, showers are a breeding ground for germs, you have to be Wilt Chamberlain to use the toilets without a stool ... and the girls say theirs is no better). More I could say but see no sense in beating a dead horse. Not sure what has happened but if you are thinking about going there for your hard earned yearly vacation, you might want to reconsider your options. Steve M. read more

I went tent camping here for five nights the week before and partway into Memorial Day weekend with a family who'd been coming for years, though it'd been several years since they'd visited. We learned that new management/owner took over a few years ago, and it seems to be an unfortunate change based on what they said (it was my first -- and last -- time there). The grounds are fine. The grass is green despite being in the middle of the desert. The little beach along an inlet of sorts along the Colorado River was nice, though got super packed by the holiday weekend. The upkeep of the bathroom facilities, which is a pretty darn important part of camping in my mind, was pathetic. In the five nights we were there, the bathrooms were actually cleaned once (after we alerted staff many times that they needed attention). I wasn't thrilled with the bathrooms in general upon arrival, but they were tolerable (and yes, the toilets are freakishly high off the ground, as another review said). It only got worse going into the holiday weekend. Of course you expect a campground to be busy over a three-day weekend. The camp management knew this. In fact, they made us move our campsite TWICE, two days in a row, because they needed to mark fire lanes. There was nothing marked when we arrived, and it's a first-come, first-served sort of pick-your-spot place. No one ever came over to tell us, they just lazily pointed from inside the store in the general direction we weren't supposed to be, apparently. So they knew it was going to get crowded. But clearly this place is about quantity, not quality. Because by Fri/Sat, it was packed to the brim. Tent-on-tent-on-tent. We were paying for several cars/tents at our site, $25 per night per car. So they were making thousands upon thousands of dollars from all those packed in tents all weekend. But they clearly were understaffed -- even though they knew, and told us, how busy it was going to be. The bathrooms got worse and worse. One of the three sinks in the ladies room remained clogged for three days. The soap was out for about 12 hours and only got replaced after we asked. The paper towels were out most of a day, which I didn't even care that much but it was principle at this point. I asked them to replace the paper towels three times in an eight-hour period, which then they finally were. The worst were the showers. I tried very hard to not touch anything I didn't have to while in there. And by the last night, they were disgusting and clearly had not been touched by cleaning staff. There was a bloody tampon on the floor of the women's shower, and someone defecated on the floor of one of the men's room showers. I get that the staff cannot control what disgusting things people do in the bathrooms, but I also believe people will be more respectful of a place if they are treated with respect and the people working there care about the cleanliness of the facilities. We were out of there fast Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend, already wishing we'd left the day before. I can only imagine it got worse into Sunday/Monday. The people with permanent RV spots seemed less bothered, since they don't have to use the bathrooms, but we saw quite a few RV spots up for sale as well. I would not recommend tent camping here, or at least not over a busy weekend. And be prepared to have to bug staff repeatedly for basic things that should be looked in on periodically without asking. I'm not sure they would have ever replaced anything had we not asked them (politely) multiple times. Some staff were more helpful than others, including the guy doing most of the actual cleaning, but he was clearly overworked because they were understaffed. read more

Had an amazing time with my family and friends this past weekend. In contrary to some of the comments the bathrooms were clean when we arrived and were maintained through out the day. Staff was great , helpful and friendly. Emily (staff member) helped us get our Seadoo going after we had a few issues with it. She was so sweet and helpful! Thank you again Emily. If you are looking for the party loud crazy river scene this will not be for you. This is more of a chill family friendly type of park. Definitely will be coming back! read more

My husband and I did our wedding this past weekend and it was beautiful! Not only was the location perfect but the crew who works there made sure everything we needed, was done. They kept the grounds clean and tidy as well as being pleasant to any special request we had for them. I grew up in Blythe and lived there the majority of my life and never expected to get married there. But McIntyre Park made that easy. I have been going to this park for over 20 years. No improvements have been made. The bathrooms are disgusting and dirty, the toilets are so high off the ground you can't even really sit on them. The showers if you use them you might come out with some disease. I don't think they have ever been cleaned. The manager Karen likes to yell at the customers and treats us like we don't matter. I went to discuss some issues with her, she immediately started yelling at me and told me to go elsewhere. I have no need to give her my business anymore. There are so many parks around so we uprooted and moved to The Cove. So much nicer they have a pool, laundry, game room, park for the kids to play, cable and wifi. Mcintyre has nothing on the Cove. I wish the owner knew how the management to treated the clientele. There are more empty spaces then there ever has been say goodbye to the waiting list. read more

I have been going to this park for more than 10 years. When we arrived on Saturday May 19 we found several Easy Up Frames on the beach but no one was using them. This only leaves a couple spots to select on the shore line. As we took our beach chairs and cooler over the grass there was plenty of dog shit to avoid. And the trash was everywhere..on the beach, in the water, next to the trash cans. The park was packed to the brim on Saturday and was just overcrowded to really enjoy. Sunday, same thing. Trash everywhere. Tent frames on the beach with no people using the area. Late afternoon brought multiple families with more than 20 children. The children were running through and around our set up. There was screaming, crying, throwing sand and throwing toys. There was no parental supervision and when we politely asked for the parents to relocate their kids to an open spot ( instead of directly in front of us) they responded that they couldn't do this because it wasn't safe for the babies. We left this place. There is no park rule enforcement. Grounds are filthy. There are extremely rude park users that have no respect for others. This place has become totally trashy with plenty of riff raff to spoil a visit. read more

Visited on December 2014 Place have the potential, but it is not maintained well. Bathrooms and showers were dirty and not maintained. We arrived about 6pm, it was hard to find our parking spot and needed help from other campers. The spot was behind another RV and we needed to ask him to move his car so we can park (All campers were very nice and helpful). No table. Will not stop at this campground again. read more

I have been going to McIntyre Park for over 15 years. It is such a wonderful RV park. Their campsites are clean and the grounds are very well maintained. There is a small camp store with a few necessities. The sandbar and boat launch ramp are within walking distance from the campsites, which makes it very convenient for people with kiddos, etc. who need to go back and forth from the sandbar to your RV. I would highly recommend camping here, although I would almost rather not share this secret gem and keep them all to myself! :) read more

Made an online reservation for a boat run two months in advance and get a call a few weeks later saying that my reservation is cancelled as they were already booked but did not update their website. Cant comment on the campground as I am not able to camp but from the experience so far I will never give these people any of my money. Be very cautious when booking online.... read more

Clean RV resort. It's older but well kept. Lots of grass and trees and the camp sites that are near the river are all grass and perfect. The staff was very friendly and even gave us a intertube plug when we realized we forgot one. Dog friendly as long as you don't have an aggressive type dog. No fire pits but you can bring one as long as it is a foot off the ground. Good location and a lot of fun! read more
