We have always enjoyed the annual lobster special, love the Nee England clam chowder and their Rueben sandwiches. They are a great company. First let me say this is a great place to eat. Yeah its a sports bar atmophere but not quite as noisey. Very wheelchair friendly. Easy access and plenty of parking. Bathrooms very easy for wheelchairs. Sunday NASCAR and football on numerous TVs. Staff is friendly and attentive. Wife and I travel 65miles a couple times a year for our favorite meal..the Crunchy Fish. 2 huge portions of mild white fish fried in Panco crumbs for the best texture. Nothing like it that we've had anywhere. Now some critique for the owners... NE Clam Chowder needs more potatoes and clams. Flavorful but needs more depth. When packaging take out dinners please mark the sauces and dressings. Last take out we got 3 ranch dressings and no tarter. Also I ordered veg medley with my meal but only got plain steamed broccolli. I like broccolli but it was not what I ordered. Could have used some lemon butter or other seasoning on it. You can do better. You have in the past but a few misteps this time. We will be back to try you again and hope for better service. I do recommend trying thi add place. Very personable service the servers really make sure to take care of you. Typical pub ambiance with plenty of seating. The food was very good. I had the french onion soup and others in the group had the shrimp cocktail and everyone enjoyed their meals. My one gripe would be the margaritas. Went downhill, but was never great to begin with. Went a few times between 2016-2019 not really my call, but went along. The food was very subpar, and overall restaurant layout has always been a nightmare. I get it, it's not a 5 star Italian restaurant, but there's such a thing as space management. Jeep Beach in Daytona, and we chose to come here for the Boy Scout fundraiser event... seems the restaurant does a lot of community events. Nice. First off, the menu is extensive! There were so many options it was so hard to chose. Since I knew I was going to do a review, I decided to have appetizers for dinner... I chose the Russian Reuben Bites, a bowl of the Clam Chowder, and some wings with the "Lucky Leprechaun" sauce - which I was told was basically a combination of all the sauces except for the Garlic Parmesan. My friend had the Bloomin' Jalapeño Burger. Secondly, service was amazing... from the gentleman who greeted us at the front and our server who checked on us multiple times and allowed me to sample a couple of the brew selections. I settled on a fruity beer which was light and refreshing. There were so many choices the name escapes me, but it was something tropical and uncommon like guava... papaya... regardless, it was good...! Thirdly, the decor is total pub decor with a ton of TV screens which says "locals hangout..." Finally, let's talk about the food... The clam chowder was New England Style. Thinner than some I've had and not as hearty. I took a point off for that and the appetizer which I'll talk about next, however the soup was very buttery-creamy, and the couple of clam pieces I did find were sandy which always speaks to some freshness. The Russian Reuben "Bites" was one large potato cake with corned beef and cheese on top. There was also a drizzle of Russian dressing. It was like a deconstructed sandwich with a potato cake base. I liked the corned beef, but I really wish there would have been more dressing as the potato cake was very dry. Lastly, the chicken wings. Now, I lived in Buffalo, NY for 3 years, and they, unfortunately, have the wings I compare all wings to. So these wings were a little on the smaller side, but still overall filling. The sauce was a mix of flavors which worked together. Dip into the dressing which cooled things down just a bit. BTW - my friend loved her burger. She said it was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. She chose the coleslaw which she stated tasted fresh, and the waiter confirmed they make it in house. She's pretty sure it's a mayo base, which we both favor over Miracle Whip type dressing. I will definitely come back again, if only to try something else from that large menu... They also have Blue Plate Specials during the week, so will have to try one of those out as well... They really go above and beyond! Gina is amazing, be sure to ask for her. She was so helpful and knowledgeable with the entire menu. Without even asking she went over their entire protocol for gluten free orders. Separate space, specially marked utensils, dedicated fryer, dedicated freezer, pasta water pots just for GF and GF colander. They even allow kitchen tours to show you how they operate. There were so many options to choose from. Chicken tenders, fries, fried shrimp, pasta, and more. She reviewed regular menu items that could be modified for GF as well. I asked about fried fish as I have a shrimp allergy and while they currently do not have that as an option (they are working on a batter) she said we can bring in our own with a phone call and 24 hours notice! They truly go above and beyond for their customers. Okay, here's what we ordered for me, I am the only GF person in our party. Chicken tenders app with ranch, 1/2 dozen raw oysters, french onion soup without croutons, pasta alfredo with blackened chicken and a side Caesar without croutons. The kids got wings and fries, husband got a lobster roll, grandma got a Reuben. Everyone loved their food. Took home lots of leftovers. We definitely over ordered but it was worth it with all the options to try. They do have a GF peanut butter pie. But we will have to try it next time because we were so full. I cannot wait to come back. I'm sure the owner would have stopped by the table had he been in, it's just that kind of place. Gina even climbed into the booth behind us to deliver food with gluten around me and not across me! I highly recommend. While I don't have symptoms when I ingest gluten I'm still super careful. Let me start by saying the owner, Chris is quite a nice guy. He was very careful to seat us safely and to make sure that our preferred football game was in our view. However, I wish the server was as good as the owner. She didn't keep her mask up over her nose which was a little annoying. We came to see the game and have some appetizers. They recommended the smoked fish dip which wasn't bad. Unfortunately I've had so many other excellent ones that this one paled in comparison. It was a little heavy on the mayonnaise and pickles. I stopped by for lunch while I was running errands. I wanted to try McKennas because they had buffalo shrimp. I got a lunch portion of shrimp tossed in medium buffalo sauce.
