I've been on the forever hunt since moving here a few years ago to find a go-to nail salon where the environment is clean, prices are reasonable, and my nails are done well. I decided to give it another try here because of new management and there was/is a special going on for 20% off all services until May 2026. This place got a facelift. It's nice and clean. I absolutely love my nails every time I go to Alex at Me Eco Nails! He's officially my go-to for a full set. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he works quickly without ever sacrificing quality--my nails always come out gorgeous and exactly how I ask. I bought a gift card for my girlfriend for this place for her to get her nails done. From the moment she walked in she realized this is not a great nail place at all. It's very dirty. The water was cold on her feet when getting her pedicure. during the time of getting her full set, one of the nails was placed on crooked. The nail lady stated it's because of her crooked finger Laugh out loud. My girlfriend has been getting her nails done at her place for such a long time, her nails always been perfect, and her finger is not crooked. they also put too much product under one of her nails and now her finger hurts. I would not recommend this place at all. It was such a bad experience for my girlfriend and I feel terrible getting her a gift card from this place. Do not go here. Do not go here again. Not good customer service-nail technicians either spoke only to each other in their language, which is so rude, or one of them would get very defensive when we asked questions. My technician worked angrily, hurting me when pushing back cuticles on my toes, and the overall quality/look was not great for $50. She dropped the buffer twice on the ground, and never replaced it with a fresh one. She never smiled and spoke in a harsh manner. We will never go back to this place. I'm sure there are plenty of other places who charge less than $50 for a mani-pedi and give you much better service for it. read more

The worst experience ever. I went there because my boyfriend got me a gift card. Really bad customer service and they were super rough. Also I asked for gel x and basically she gave me press on nails with so much product underneath it made one of my fingers hurt bad. Also the nail tech put a nail on crooked and had to take it off twice, and then tried to tell me my fingers is crooked! lol no it's not. My sister & I went in to get her first manicure post-baby today, & we were horrified by the experience. None of the numbers we asked for matched the actual colors they said they'd be in the book. Neither of us were able to get the colors we requested because they couldn't find them. The person who did my sister's nails had clearly never been taught how to do dip powder. The dip was completely coming off her nail so they just looked like big blobs. It looked as if I had done them with an at home kit. She also filed her skin 2x. She was kind and apologized, but that didn't make it all better. After I finished (dip with tips & removal of original dip), my sister, who didn't come in with any polish & didn't get tips, was still going. The person working on me took over my sister's nails to try to fix them, but they were pretty much a lost cause. It's actually comical how bad they are. Our mom instantly made a comment on them thinking it was a joke. My sister had to walk out with purple stained onto her skin because after 1 hour and 40 minutes, she just had to leave. They charged my sister full price for her dip ($45) and came up with extra charges for mine that I was unaware of ahead of time. They added charges for filing into an almond shape and they charged to remove my original polish. My manicure ended up being $63. They didn't offer us a discount or apologize for the state of my sister's nails at all. I feel nickel and dimed, and my sister basically paid $45 to now have to go get her nails redone from a different place. What a waste. I don't recommend this place at all. I feel bad that I even recommended it to my sister in the first place. read more

I have been going to Me-Eco for over a year now and have had the pleasure of having Tiffany as my manicurist during said time. Tiffany is the most efficient perfectionist I have ever met! She will never send you home with a single ugly nail. (Trust me she has redone a set of nails for me because she didn't like how they came out lol). Make your appointments ahead of time, as the employees here are very busy! The inside is always clean and inviting with TVs on and music playing too. I came here based off a recommendation. Went in for an eyebrow wax and left with an eyebrow burn. The staff was super friendly and unfortunately the experience wasn't a great one. I won't be returning. I did get a first time customer discount but the burn on my face wasn't worth it. The salon was pretty empty and I was able to walk in and get service immediately. read more

I decided to go to this nail salon instead bc I saw The good reviews here and I also noticed how well they do nails. When customers come in and show you a picture of what they want and at the end when you're almost finish it doesn't look like anything that you said, please just say no. So we can not waste time and money on something we did not ask for. I wanted to get a fill and a design- Halfway into the gel color it was extremely splotchy I ended up just saying no to color and leaving. Still charging me $25 for leaving my nails worse then what they were before. No thanks. I just moved to mission Viejo and came across this salon. Thought I give it a chance, but my experience was not great. The vibe in this place is not it. I wanted a black French tip style and instead I got the whole nail painted black. As im getting my nails done it's super quiet with a random lady coming in and bugging the employees for a "buff and shine" like seriously schedule an appointment like the rest of us and be nice to the employees. The first time I went in was on a Sunday just over an hour before they were supposed to close. There were multiple people in chairs getting services done, but I was told they were closing early due to the storm. Understandable, but strange to turn someone away when there are so many people still there and they obviously wouldn't be closing that soon. Nevertheless I went somewhere else that day. I went back to Me-Eco a couple weeks ago and really wanted to love it this time because it is 1 minute from my house and I love that they use environmentally friendly products. Unfortunately I did not have the outcome I was hoping for. I called in the morning to schedule an appointment for the afternoon, which was fairly easy. I told the man exactly what services I wanted and made the appointment. When I walked in they asked what I wanted multiple times then kept looking at my nails like there was a problem. I explained that I wanted the same as usual, a new dip set with a tip. This is what I've gotten for a couple years now and it usually lasts me 3 weeks to 1 month. I also like to let my nails grow out with dip and not get a tip but recently moved and had broken my nails. (This is also why I can't go to my usual nail place.) After the man and lady passed my hand back and forth between the two of them, they begrudgingly had me sit down. The lady seemed annoyed and I wasn't sure why. I was pleasant and friendly and hadn't requested anything out of the norm, but apparently I upset her somehow. She even leaned over to the client in the chair next to me, pointed right at me, and then whispered in her ear. Not sure what she said, but I was pretty taken aback and felt a little uneasy. The lady and the man then began to speak to each other and though I couldn't understand it was pretty clear they were talking about me. I had asked for a classic French manicure/pedicure, nothing outrageous. The man did my toes and the French tip was really thick. He asked if it was okay and I asked him to make it thinner. After a couple repeats of that, I pulled up a picture of a standard, classic French pedi and showed him. He then was visibly annoyed that I hadn't shown him a photo sooner. I really didn't think a photo was necessary for such a basic style. Eventually I just settled for thick tips because I was tired of going back and forth. But the worst part was my nails. The woman, who spoke to other customers around me, said almost nothing to me the whole time. She pulled out the "dip" powder and made sure to show me that the label said dip, but then proceeded to put it on with a brush. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years, I know what the differences between dip and standard acrylics are. I was eager to get out of the place, so I didn't protest. The final color was clear, not pink at all, despite her saying it would be. Then she started the French tip and I was growing increasingly frustrated. The tips were so crooked and filed down/painted to different lengths, it looked awful. I asked if she could fix it and she asked for a picture. At this point I was visibly annoyed and told her I have never been to a salon where I've had to show a picture for a classic French manicure. She then said she didn't know if I wanted ombré or not. I reminded her that she saw my nails when I walked in and I had said I wanted the same thing and had never mentioned anything about ombré. I had to ask her to fix almost all of my nails and like my toes, I eventually settled for nails that I wasn't happy with because I just wanted to leave. At this point she could tell I was upset and tried to be super nice. She took a photo of my nails and said now she knows what I will want next time. I snapped and said I won't be back. I hate to have been that person but the whole experience was just so horrendous and I couldn't understand how it was so difficult to get a clean, sharp French mani/pedi. It's also important to note that the woman whose nails this lady did prior to mine came back in while she was doing my nails and pointed out that one of her nails was already lifting. The lady got some cuticle cutters and trimmed the nail down underneath. The lady clearly wasn't okay with this solution (I wouldn't have been either, they needed to glue it or redo it) but the lady insisted that it would be fine. Within 1 week of getting my nails done I noticed that she didn't use the right size tips on several of my nails, so there is a gap between the tip and real nail, which allows water, dirt, etc. to build up and can be a health/safety issue. Most of my nails were also lifting in that time. I wanted to love this place, but this was easily the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. She did give me a "first time customer discount" but I think that was probably an attempt to keep me from writing this review. If the salon responds with the photos she took, that was after multiple fixes and it still looked terrible. read more

I had to change my color multiple times before being forced to do all white due to the fact that the colors were not matching what they were displaying. They told me 15 min wait which resulted in over 30 minutes. The woman helping me kept getting up and leaving my in my chair stopping the service MULTIPLE TIMES. Update: went back today and I was not thrilled nor was I too upset. To start it took her and hour and a half just for a regular gel manicure. I get impatient when it goes over an hour because in my opinion it's unnecessary. The salon is absolutely beautiful but I've had two different nail stylist and it's been OK. Very cute place and the people who work here and very friendly. The nail lady took her time and I always appreciate when people don't rush me. Only complaint I have is that I wish she did one more layer of polish since the color was still a little light but not her fault, I was in a rush so couldn't sit much longer. read more

Okay so grab some popcorn for this review. Called before going in, told them I want a refill and pedicure. Came into the nail salon and was the only customer (I wonder why). Anyways...There was two employees, so I was confused why they didn't just do my refill and pedicure at the same time, but hey, no big deal. Pedicure was fine. Here comes the good part; I asked for a french manicure, very simple. Pink underneath, white tips. So she does the white tips and it's patchy and crooked and my toddler daughter would've probably done a better job... so she was already picking up the top coat. I asked her if she seriously just wanted to put a top coat on that. She said "yes done". It looked HORRIBLE. I told her it needs to be removed and redone. We filed the white off and had to redo the pink. So she starts again to try and do the French tip, I tell her again, it's crooked, it looks horrible. She tells me "ok I leave it like this". I told her I asked for French, not for a solid color and I'm not paying for something I didn't ask for. She told me "well I have appointment now so I can't do it". She gets on the pedicure chair, props her feet up and starts watching videos on her phone. "If you can do better, do". So I told her okay, I'll do my nails myself. I completed my French tips myself and was charged 110$ I'm shocked I actually paid but at this point I just wanted to get the HELL OUT OF THERE. I'll attach a picture, of me doing my nails. Also, the other employee never offered me any help neither. Instead she was just watching me do my nails. She asked me "you like to draw your nail?" I replied "no, if I did I wouldn't go to a nail salon." By the way, I spent a total of 5 hours in there and will avoid this place if it's the last nail salon on this planet. Definitely will be back Update as of 02/15/2020: I got my nails done just 2 day's ago and they started chipping. I contacted the owner who quickly responded and made an appointment for me to get it fix. Upon my arrival, the staff was vigilant and prompt. Greeted me with professionalism and friendly smiles. I got a dip manicure the and a regular pedicure. i had a horrible experience. i've been going to nail salons all over the oc getting the same thing, and this was one of the worst. i do not recommend coming back here. their service is horrible and they burned and cut my nails. my nails are still soar, and have never hurt after getting dip nails before. to top it all off, they had ANTS all over the floor and claimed to be so clean and sanitary. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure here last week. This place isn't much different from any other manicure/pedicure except that they look a little fancier. Massage chair was meh. I've had better and worse. The evening of the manicure, a thumb nail chipped so I went in the next morning and they were very apologetic and promptly fixed it for free, even refused a tip. I didn't realize until later that they used a different color on my repaired nail. The next day half of my other thumb gel nail fell off, I then easily popped the rest off like a Lee Press-On nail. read more
