I had not been to this location for a few years, used to get mani-pedi's about every 4-6 weeks, then covid, then lazy. I had a gift card and wanted a pedicure so I walked in on Sunday afternoon and found out there was still $38 remaining balance so I got the $55 all in Pedicure. The gal who did my feet asked if I wanted my nails short, I told her definitely and to please remove all the skin around the nail and of course, my cuticles. I set the massage chair, (very comfy) and listened to a podcast. She did her service ( I did not pay much attention) did the wax, took off dead skin, the massage etc and my feet felt like new! I got home and felt my toe nails.... uhhh seriously - sharp and long!!! Thinking back, she NEVER clipped my nails, just used the rotary file, nor did she file them. Maybe they do not do that anymore, I dont know? I then spent 20 minutes clipping my toe nails - see the picture for what I got - ONE HOUR AFTER I HAD A PEDICURE! The first time I went was on. My nails lasted 3 weeks. The 2nd time I made appt with the same nail tech. I asked about doing 3 layers as that's what I had done in NY. We discussed differences, ok fine. Then when it came to doing my nails, she asked me to relax. I advised that's it's hard to do because of pain from carpal tunnel. At one point she got annoyed and the my loving at me and told me to play with my phone and not watch her. If I want in the middle I would have left. Needless to say exactly 2 weeks later my nail popped off. I went in and they said i was due to have them done again. I'm sorry but I usually get 3 weeks out of a powder dip which doesn't go under the light. Instead of saying no charge, they charged $5. She didn't have enough change and seemed she was expecting more. So $7 to fix and that buff 2 more popped off. Now almost at 3 weeks I have 4 left. They all popped off. They use cheap glue to get you back in faster. I will not use them again. I was actually told by my Co worker they are the McDonald's of nail places!! read more

We were given tea or water and were checked on constantly to be sure we were comfortable and happy with the service. I would go back. We also received a discount if we did both a mani and pedi. I should have gotten the name of the woman who did my pedicure because she was FABULOUS! Okay - for starters - I normally never visit chain or franchise nail places; however, I'd been in the complex running a few other errands and saw this Happy Nails. Ah, heck, I'll give it a try, I'm here, I thought. The 20% off reopening special also encouraged me to give them a try. (Note: I did look at Yelp first and see the plethora of negative reviews, so I was a little uneasy at first.) My nails were in need of some major TLC. About 10 minutes into my services, I was presented a menu for pedicure options. I ended up selecting the middle option. I wish I would have had been given the option of something besides a basic manicure, as I probably would have upgraded. Anyway - the pedicure was FANTASTIC! She was so detail-oriented, took her time, and did a fantastic job! The polish started to bubble on my fingers during the drying process, but the woman was very patient and redid the bubbled nails. (The polish was too thick.) They have protective screens at each station and a very cool contactless thermometer-thing that you look into to check your temperature. Although they could get me in quickly and did a quick job, I question the job...not sure what shape this is on my toe and she cut my skin tried to blame ingrown toenail but the cut isn't because of a ingrown toenail (she never used normal nail clippers just the cuticle clippers). My nails looked cracked after 2 days, done by Tracy, something wrong with the top coat she used. I've never had them crack like that (see photo). No, I don't work with chemicals or colors. By day 4 it worsened, and they appeared stained so I went in to show them. They said their regular polish lasts 2 days, But guarantee their gel polish longer which is why they recommend their gel. I also showed them how the top coat didn't fully cover the polish and as it dried it shrunk leaving a line near the cuticle (see photos). They didn't seem apologetic nor at the very least offer to redo them. Is this a way to get me to do gel next time? Won't work on me! I get regular polish and I get gel when they are each necessary for their own reasons. I won't be going back. read more

Saw their new Reopening sign so I decided to take my chances. I looked at Yelp pictures and I was surprised to see the lay out has changed. The salon looks roomier compared to the old pictures with all the shields at each working station. The manager asked me to check my temperature with the touch less device and sign the service consent form. Then Tina helped me remove my old gel and gave me a gel manicure. I love the light purple color that Tina helped me pick out. I am very impressed how fast Tina put on the gel polish without getting on my skin. She also gave me an old treatment and a great massage. I like the fact that the staffs look so professional wearing the same black coats and mask I highly recommended the salon. I will come back to try the pedicure. read more

Been a loyal customer for years and I came in on a Sunday, when no other customers were here. I even came in at 9:50am because the doors were open so I was more than early. I respectfully asked if I should wait and they warmly welcomed me in, so I was under the impression it was OKAY to get my nails done. They had lots of time to help me. But then the manager came up to me and told me the lady helping me can only do my feet because other customers with appts take priority over me and I need to come back at a later date to get my hands done. It was embarrassing for me, I felt like I was being punked. I understand the appt system but wow how unprofessional and how rude to tell me this in the middle of my feet getting done. If I would have known I would have went somewhere else. No wonder they were all whispering and talking amongst themselves. I felt like they were not professional enough to tell me the Truth because all they wanted was my money. It sucks because now I have to go somewhere else and I have work in a few hours. Sadly all I can think is that their nail polish is old that is why it doesn't last? OR they don't put on a quick dry top coat. Plus, no offer of a fan or drying station like other places.
