Located in the Marriott Downtown Dallas, it's better than Starbucks and efficient service with the coffee. I was not aware this was a kiosk upon seeing it in YELP but don't let that fool you into getting your morning (or afternoon) coffee fix. I've been drawn to the Lavender Latte which has a unique flowery taste that might require some getting used to but I've grown accustomed to it. They also have cuban coffee drinks plus some breakfast tacos, pastries, and lunch items including burrito bowls. Seems like it's a popular spot here and I agree. read more

Cutest little cafe inside the Marriott building downtown Dallas. It's simply a stand but they have a great selection of coffee. My favorite is the Dulce De Leche Latte and their empanadas are AMAZINGLY GOOD. Be careful though! Their coffee is piping hot for about 10 minutes lol I have no idea what the hell they do to keep it that hot after you walk away but it'll jack you up if you're not careful lol. I like it though because it's still hot after I get to the office and I tend to be an avid coffee re-heater. read more

I had a few hours to kill and needed an AM coffee stat. I didn't realize during my quick Yelp search that I was heading to a kiosk rather than a brick and mortar cafe, but there were plenty of tables and chairs in this plaza, a glammed up food court, if you will. A yummy latte and an empanada just for a little nosh really hit the spot. This is not really the place to do work--I couldn't find an outlet for a charger. While I did entertain unplugging some Christmas lights, I didn't go that far. Great spot for a quick spot on your way elsewhere! read more

Came here for breakfast. It is a cute pop up stand in the Marriott Center. There isn't a place to sit there, but there are tons of seats around the center if you are trying to stay. I took mine to go and they gave me a cardboard tray that they give you at starbucks for four cups. I came to get an acai bowl (the tropical one with coconut is ~$8), but couldn't pass up a $1.79 breakfast taco as well. I got the bacon and egg taco and it was delicious. Very well made, the eggs were cooked well and the sauce complimented it perfectly. The acai bowl was also good but presented in a smoothie cup which was weird. Also i saw them pour cranberry juice into it, which makes me a little unsure if they are using real fruit, and remove a star. Otherwise it was very delicious. This location just opened up recently at the Plaza of the Americas building and is located in the center of the atrium right in front of Corner Bakery. They have an assortment of South American coffees, empanadas and sweets (i.e. pecan and brownie squares). I was excited to see that they offered empanadas on their menu, of the savory and the dessert variety. My favorite so far has been the "Romeo & Juliet" which has agave nectar and cream cheese. They will even offer to warm up the empanada in their fancy-schmancy revolving warmer (if you so desire). Today I ordered their Java Chip frozen frappe. It comes with espresso and java chip ice cream blended into the drink and whipped cream on top. A calorie counter's nightmare for sure. While the drink was good, it was more like a frozen slushie after a few sips and I couldn't tell that there was ice cream blended in at all. For $4.99, I would not order it again, but I will definitely keep coming back for their empanadas! read more

I am addicted to this place and generally go here every other day for a cafe con leche or some empanadas. The price is good and food clean. I tried the cubano and an arepa in my last two visits and both were impressive. It's one of the places with the shortest lines in the plaza as well, so it really helps out when you need food quick. read more

I've been getting the their white mocha with no milk, extra ice and topped off with half and half. They made it right the first time and have remembered my drink since then. Pretty solid! I now work downtown and this place is in my building. I'm a fan of the café con leche because of their addition of cinnamon. The breakfast tacos are also tasty and convenient although I'm a bit shocked there is no chorizo option. Whenever I'm in the mood to splurge on coffee, I'll be visiting here. read more

I love this spot! It's in my office building and I actively have to resist the urge to get it every morning. The best food items are the empanadas and arepas - my most favorite is the chicken empanadas. And for coffee, the caffe con leche is a traditional treat that's a little less sugary than your regular latte and takes me back to my days in Costa Rica. And the staff is always friendly. This is my second time here and I love it. The staff is friendly and attentive. They take their time with making the drinks which is a good thing because they are making sure to make quality drinks. I tried their honey latte the first time and I was surprised that it wasn't bitter or overly sweet. This time I got the hot chocolate and I really enjoyed it. It reminds me of the hot chocolate I grew up drinking. It contains hints of cinnamon and it's not overly sweet. read more

A new booth on the bottom floor of the Plaza de las Americas in front of Corner Bakery. When I try a new place out I like to try like half the menu so had a potato and egg breakfast taco, an acai bowl and an iced coffee with dulce de leches on it. The taco was a little small but tasty. You could tell it was good flour tortilla. Hate it when it tastes like plastic. The acai bowl came in a cup but had good taste and yummy chopped fruit on top. I got dulce de leches on it forgetting that I hate the taste. Otherwise my iced coffee would have been perfect. Didn't get an empanada but just gives me an excuse to go again. read more

I work upstairs from this cafe and if I could, I'd eat here everyday! The ladies that work there are super pleasant and always in a good mood. I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't like. My go-to are their breakfast tacos, chicken burrito for lunch, and the tropical acai bowl. Their skinny latte with honey is good too. Great service and great food!! The Acai Bowl is not worth your money. Too much was used therefore making it too crunchy. Doesnt even taste like Acai. Made it super fast. They handed it to me right when i paid.
