Fount is a super cute spot with really good breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos themselves are well-made, but what takes it over the top is the salsa that they serve with it which makes it delicious. I didn't see many people ordering the tacos, but they do deserve to be highlighted as they're really good. Big shout out to the vegetarian bean taco as I'm not a vegetarian, but enjoyed it more than the egg and bacon taco. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was also very charming, and it felt very countryside chic which I thought was really cool for Dallas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was so many different seating options available which I appreciated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff seemed a super busy, but they were still friendly and nice.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really liked Fount Board & Table. Super cute spot for charcuterie boards and coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the vegetarian charcuterie board and a couple of lattes, and everything was really good. The board itself was not only tasty but also pretty -- perfect for sharing (and photos). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little place to hang out and have something light and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came here mid-afternoon for a coffee and pastry. Although they were out of chocolate croissants, I was very impressed by the coffee. I got a vanilla latte and thought it was excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere in here was nice and moody and would make a great place to work/read while enjoying great coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would like to come back here for more coffee and try some of their food items.

Very tasty for a basic black coffee.

I woke up starving because I worked out late so I didn't wanna have a heavy dinner. I just opted for a protein drink so naturally this morning I was very hungry, but I also had to take Luciano for his walk. He was waiting patiently so where was I gonna go grab breakfast with my hair all disheveled, no make up, Lululemon leggings and a long sleeve Harley Davidson T-shirt? I remembered this place on one of my walks with Luciano. I went on Yelp to see if they had online ordering for pick up and they did. I ordered a Cortado and the jam eggs toast with the prosciutto to pick up by the time I walked down there, my order was ready, and they handed it to me as I waited on the front porch with Luciano. I was able to drink my coffee on my way back and now I'm sitting enjoying this delicious breakfast and not feeling guilty at all because I walked for it and it's mostly protein. This was a win-win. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place smelled amazing and it was so cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today is a very bleak dreary cold extremely cold day and inside was delightful so I definitely wanna go back one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm with a date and enjoy a cozy romantic breakfast.

My favorite coffee shop in Dallas! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's so beautiful and moody and whimsical.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've had a tea, matcha, and coffee from here and enjoyed them all. A true gem.

WHAT I ORDERED: Brown Butter Hazelnut Latte (Iced) and Olive Oil Latte (Hot) PARKING: Limited street parking. INSIDE: Limited coffee drinks on their menu but the staff is friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It had old school vibes with dim lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] THE DRINKS: I wish the brown butter hazelnut latte had more of its flavor present as it felt lackluster. The olive oil latte was an acquired taste, it was interesting for the first few sips and one that you should drink before it cools down.

Cute and yummy, the perfect combo. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We decided to try brunch here last weekend because it looked unique being a bookstore/coffee shop/restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were sat promptly and our server was with us immediately even though it was busy. Two of us ordered coffee and really enjoyed our drinks! Mine was the choco strawberry (recommended by our server) and it was delicious. I'm determined to recreate it. For food I'm not sure what the dish I had is called (steak Benedict's?) but it was delicious and I cleaned my plate. The roasted potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and well seasoned. Our server checked on us constantly, kept out waters full, and kept the table clean by removing empty plates as we ate. It was great! Highly recommend giving them a try :)

I decided I needed a new coffee spot to try on this raining, gloomy day in May. So I checked out Fount, right across the street from Whole Foods Market in Uptown situated inside of a historical looking olive green home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As you walk inside, you feel super comfortable and cozy with the dim lighting and smell of coffee beans, people quietly chatting, on their laptops, or reading.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came in and was greeted by a lady who suggested the Tuna sandwich or the Spicy Soppressata, so I tried latter with one of their house specialty coffees....the Brown Butter Latte, hot. The sandwich had a slight kick, was super herby, on some buttered and toasted focaccia and it was delicious, just enough to not uncomfortably fill me up because I still had things to do. The latte was very rich and deep. I would definitely come back. Prices are a little steep but worth it for a self-care day.

I wanted to love this place. The jammy egg toast photos were calling my name, the photos looked awesome. The menu says prosciutto (all Yelp photos show prosciutto), but it was served with salami, and they did not inform me beforehand. Salami is generally less expensive ingredient too. Also in lots of the photos it looked like a round (more homemade and larger) loaf. It was tasty, but still pretty disappointing. When I went back to the counter to correct that it was served with salami, they mumbled "oh, I guess we didn't tell you" not an apology, no compensation, nada. They were super dismissive. If they had offered me a cookie (or anything) I probably would have brushed it off. My toast was served on a small slice of square toast. For $17!!! Also the garnish was an INedible sprig of lavender. A garnish should always be edible... other photos show this entree with a fig. Sadly Yelp does not attach photos to reviews if you post the photo after the review and I was having wifi issues, so that photo loaded separately, but it is the gallery of photos here on yelp for this business under my name. I just moved here from San Francisco and I am generally immune to high prices, but this was way too expensive for what we got, not to mention the crappy service. Hubbs got a pretty tasty grilled cheese, but also tiny, and served with nary a chip or anything. For $13. (look a my photo, it is dwarfed by the medium sized plate) Another major gripe was that every single table was occupied by a person on a computer, 60% of these people had zero evidence they had even purchased a thing from here. There should be time limit. If I spend $33 for food, let me have a table to sit and eat it. We ended up asking another table to move their stuff so we could sit down at the large 4 top they were hogging with laptops and papers. Pretty disappointing. I don't like the feeling of being ripped off.

A quaint and beautiful cafe nestled in the State Thomas area of Uptown Dallas!! My brown butter hazelnut latte with oatmilk was so soothing and delicious. Not too sweet and the sea salt topping was a brilliant touch. I like that this cafe offers ample seating options which allowed me to grab a table for a few hours and work on a Monday afternoon. Will definitely be back! Street parking is available. There are plenty of seating options. The cafe also offers tons of food options so great if you are planning to be here for a while.

Such a cute hidden house style coffee shop! This is better than white rhino or foxtrot in the state Thomas neighborhood. We didn't try any food items, but we each got the $7.75 brown butter hazelnut ice latte with oatmilk. I wish I could have put this as 5 stars but they weren't really transparent with the oatmilk up charge. When asked they said they don't disclose it. I have no problem paying for extra toppings/substitutions but do feel slighted when a store is not honest with it. Will say at $7.75 this is a pricer latte, but the quality is there unlike other stores that do charge similarly.

Such a lovely place! Very intimate feeling and feels very much like a cozy coffee shop just slightly elevated. Happy to see they had a black bean taco that was vegan! Would love to see some vegan charcuterie options in the future. Had the strawberry tea which was so flavorful and highly recommend it!!

I loved this coffee shop. I have been to this area many times and have never realized that this is not just a charcuterie place but also a breakfast spot! The cute little house had great seating and some of the best lattes I have ever had. I am picky with matcha but this one was done right. Good service and plenty of street parking available too.

I told them I want the order to go, but I'm gonna sit down and eat some of my food in the restaurant like first I take half of my food home with me and only eat half in the restaurant. If you're looking for a restaurant where the atmosphere is just as enjoyable as the food, San…read moreMartín is absolutely worth a visit. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! I remember the gourmet Eatzi's phenomenon when the chain had a Houston location, which has been closed for almost 20 years. Although I've read Eatzi's may in fact return to Houston, I'll believe it when I see it. What I've always liked about Eatzi's is the high quality and variety of cuisine on offer. For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods.
