Officially I can say Me-n-Eds is dead. I don't know if they are struggling, but I know one thing. You can't charge $20 for a pizza that use to cost $12 dollars 5 years ago. Their large is a size of a medium and it is embarrassing when you are charged $77 for 3 large medium sized pizzas. Do not go here if you want to get your money's worth. Taste is still ok but, you need to buy 5 $20 pizzas to feed 7 people. read more

We don't eat much pizza. Maybe once a year. I had my annual hankering for pizza so my wife and I stopped at Me & Ed's in Hanford at Grangeville and 12th Ave. We decided to split a small pizza made as a "two way" pizza. We chose a split of Garlic Chicken and the special Combo (not the All Meat Combo) and it was delicious. Well packed toppings on a crispy crust brought about groans of gastronomical pleasure. We might not make it another year to our next pizza. We ate in after ordering and the wait seemed long but we noticed a ton of pizzas being picked up and another ton being sent for delivery. So, they probably were quite efficient with their oven space. The large interior is reminiscent of an earlier time when more people dined in as opposed to pick up or delivery - back in the days when Pizza Parlors were a fun dining experience filled with families. This is the last time I'll order from Me-n-Ed's. Their pizza and service have been consistently average for a long time but the occasional gaffe has become commonplace. Tonight I ordered two pizzas using the app. The app was terrible and most of the links were broken. The only way to order was using coupon items. If there wasn't a coupon for the item you wanted, you couldn't order it. Anyway, I placed the order which was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. I walked in exactly 30 minutes later to pick up the pizzas and was told I'd have to wait in the rather long line to pay despite having already paid via the app. This is apparently a security measure; however, it defeats the purpose of ordering and paying ahead so I don't have to stand in line when I pick it up. Well, when I get up to the counter I'm told my order isn't ready yet and they haven't even received the ticket, meaning they hadn't even started my order. They told me they had 18 orders ahead of mine. Not 18 pizzas, 18 orders. They also couldn't give me an estimate as to when my order would be ready. In the end I had to wait an additional 30+ minutes for a total of 75 minutes from the time I placed the order. Their attitude toward the whole situation was basically, "oh well, you're just going to have to wait." No apology or anything. In addition, one of the pizzas was clearly fresh out of then oven and the other was cold and hard as if it had been sitting around for a while. This was the last straw. I've always loved their pizza but I ordered it tonight and the crust was so hard it hurt my teeth. It was inedible so I ended having to peel off the crust and just eat the toppings. Never enough cheese! Today, they gave me wrong pizza and instead of making a new one like they said they would, they gave me an OLD cold it pizza! The guy with glasses that took my order seemed upset and I think the manager needs to make another evaluation on this guy. Worth the Stop! I was hesitant in stopping here but I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. We stopped in and ordered a couple pizzas and sides we opted for the large pepperoni with the thick crust and it was on special at 12 bucks a pizza. Price was great and the pizza is a good size. The crust was not cheap and the cheese and toppings were quality. The didn't skimp on them either. The garlic bread was quality as well. They have a spicy ranch that I've never seen and that made it all pop. You can always gauge a restaurant on lettuce. The salad was awesome and crisp. I hate when you get that worn down warm lettuce that ruins the salad. If you're in town or a local give them a shot. read more

I ordered about 20 mins in advance but yet my order has to wait for the other 10 orders to go first because the staff like to complain about how they could be doing better things in life. DoorDash comes in and they have to wait 45-60 mins for a pizza, thats only if the staff are motivated to do their jobs! When is management going to improve their process? As I had discovered that I loved the Pollo Alfredo pizza I had from Fatte Alberts, but was not willing to spend that kind of money again, I decided to check out to me and Ed's pizza parlor near my home and see if they had something comfortable at a lesser price. They had something called a garlic chicken pizza with white sauce, which sounded pretty close, so I ordered it to take out. Their version of "small" was anyone else's version of "medium" I did not really want that large of a pizza just for myself, but I ordered it anyway figuring I can eat leftovers for two days. When I got home with it and opened the box, I was immediately disappointed, as practically a quarter of it was nearly burnt crust. The pizza itself had very little chicken on it for the price, and so little sauce that I could barely taste it, so the pizza was dry, and other than a large amount of garlic, it was nearly tasteless. You can even tell looking at the box how dry the pizza was. I only gave it two stars because the staff was friendly and quick. The food didn't even deserve one star. read more

the service was bad, i called an order in and they told me 20-30 minutes. I got distracted with my kids and ended up going in after 45 minutes of calling in. Once i paid they said pizza was in the oven and i had to wait about 5 minutes to be ready. after about 15 minutes i go to check to see what was going on and they told me just a littler longer. I had Me n Eds in Coalinga last week and I was so disappointed in how much topping they put on it. It looked like the commercial. The disappointment is that Hanfords don't look like that. I payed online and had my husband pick up the pizza, I am 8 months pregnant so didn't want to go in myself. Soon as he gets there they tell him they need his id and his card to verify. We payed with my card so he asked just for refund. I noticed there was no refund, so I called and they put me on hold. I was on hold for 10 mins so I went to restaurant myself to pay or see about refund and they said they never made the pizza and my refund will not be on my card for 5 days. My personal pan pizza looks pretty sad. I asked Abby (the cashier) about it and she assured me this is how they're supposed to look. I guess if you order a pizza don't expect for the pizza to be covered in the toppings you ordered.... hope you'll be in the mood for bread. This place is a joke. Staff behind the counter is rude and condescending. The lady made fun of my name before she realized I was standing there. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes and I didn't even leave my house until it had been 30 minutes. I asked if it was ready and they said it hadn't even gone in the Oven yet. Then the staff went and started talking shit about how these customers think their food is going to be ready in 30 minutes and how they hope we don't "starve to death." Beyond frustrated with my experience this evening with this location. Called and placed an order at 6pm for 2 pizzas. Was told it would be 30 mins. I showed up a little before 6:30pm and paid. Stepped to the side and waited for my name to be called. At 6:45 I was still waiting. No one acknowledged that I was still waiting so I asked two workers if my pizzas were about ready. They looked around for a minute, then said "we don't see your pizzas." Then went about their business. Found the girl who rung me up. I asked her. She looked around for a minute and found them still in the oven. She said they'd be out in a few and walked away. Finally got my pizzas at 7pm. No apology. No sorry for your wait. I've eaten here about 5 times since I've moved here. The employees that work here have always been super friendly! I've always enjoyed the pizza here, the crust has a nice little crunch to it and it hasn't ever been over cooked. You can tell they actually take their time making the pizza and don't just throw it together. Their prices are pretty reasonable, they always seem to be having some kind of special for a large. We usually get the special because it's such a great deal. $11.99 for a large 3 topping pizza. You can't beat that! I usually get the salad bar when I'm here. I think if you're going to pay for a salad bar it should be unlimited, also you shouldn't have to pay extra for ranch. They have other salad dressings out that you can use but you have to pay extra for ranch? I don't like the plastic silverware and paper products they use when you dine in. I think that's fine for take out deliveries but not when you're eating in the restaurant. Also they call your number when your pizza is ready and you have to go up and get it. It would be nice if they brought it out to you especially since the times we've been there they've never been super busy. In the end I'll definitely be back because of the great customer service and great taste of pizza! read more

The ovens have a ton of build up below them like the place hasn't been cleaned in a month. We paid a dollar per ranch and then we opened the bag it was in and the containers had opened there was just a bag of ranch. Not too shabby for what I've discovered is a chain pizzeria. From the service to the side dishes, Me n' Eds is on point and a far better option than Round Table, Pizza Hut and Papa Murphy's. Sadly, there are no locations north of Fresno. The combo pizza had a lot going for it: fresh-tasting ingredients piled high, some spicy elements and a crisp crust. One of my wife and I's biggest pet peeves is a soft, soggy crust on our pizza, but this was the good kind complete with a bit of that cornmeal rub. I ate twice as much as I set out to. Can't say the same about the spicy wings which were squishy and undercooked. The counter girl was hinting that I should get the cheesy garlic bread instead but I'd already had garlic bread at lunch. Honestly I called in an odd dear at 11 am and was told it would be ready by 3. I get here at 245 and they say it will be ready soon, it's now 323 and it STILL has not even been put in the oven. Seriously we called it in to avoid this. And we weren't the only ones experiencing this issue. Seriously need to get it together. read more

My mom lives near this location and when I'm in town I always have a pizza from here in years past I would highly recommend this place for a great pie. So I was in town visiting and had to get a pizza. Before I called to order my mom told me ask for them to put sauce on the pizza. I thought this was an usual request so when I ordered I followed my moms instructions they lady on the phone asked if I wanted extra sauce I said no so when the pizza arrived I must say the sauce that they say was on the pie was gone. Worst pie ever I would rather order Pizza Hut or domino's than this place ever again what a waste of money. I hope whatever they are doing now they fix it and go back to the way it was. Pizza is good but the sides are not. We got some wings and Caesar salad. The wings were small, flavorless, and pretty much a waste. The Caesar salad was a joke.
