    Tacos!
    Theresa L.

Taco Tuesday! Came on a Tuesday night without a reservation, around 6:30pm. Seated right away outside. Our waitress was very nice! I got a margarita coco morado, pretty purple color and tasted not too sweet, ir was pretty good! We did tacos of course, got a few different types, and they range from $2 to $4! Delicious, the shrimp is a must! But everything was so good.

    Spicy marg is my jam

New place, who dis?!? Ya gotta love Yelp. We never eat poorly (ok, it's *really* rare) and we also find new places local to us. Where else ya gonna get that kinda love? Just Yelp. Obvi, I'm a fan, lol. Onto the review - Adelitas is a great example of hidden gems (for us). Edgewater isn't far from us, but it's not close enough where we'd know about all the new places. If ya know me, you already know we sat at the bar. Yep, we did. And that's an easy way to learn about some of the cool history of a place - like we did. We shared their queso fundido - loved the cheesy gooeyness. He had their carne asada plate (charred a little too much but no other complaints) and I enjoyed their chicken enchiladas with their verde sauce (def a good choice). The portions are large as the pics show. Leftovers FTW. Pricing was appropriate, nothing that threw me. I'd def return for their spicy marg. Their bartender was great - chatty but not too over attentive and really friendly. He shared the place's history. Cheers to women owned businesses - this one is also family owned and founded by a Latina chef, Silvia Andaya. We need more passion projects. Thanks, Silvia and team. We're excited to have another great option for south of the border fare!

If it's a Tuesday and you're craving tacos on the west side of town you should definitely check out Adelitas. Easily one of the best deals around, the taco Tuesday special is a great deal to try! The food and drinks you love and enjoy from the South Broadway location are now conveniently available at their second location in Edgewater near Sloans Lake. Aside from tacos they also have your typical Mexican plates filled with authentic flavors served up quickly by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their cocktail list is pretty comprehensive and some can be made without alcohol. I recently tried the NA coco morado and it was DELICIOUS! Coconut and lavender make a tasty (and colorful) combo! Come check this place out - you won't be disappointed

Founded by Chef Silvia Anaya, this Latina woman-owned restaurant brings traditional Michoacán cuisine to Edgewater Market Place with bold flavors, an incredible agave program, and a brand new patio that's so ready for summer. Let's dig in! What we tried: Chips & House Red Salsa Chavindecas - corn tortilla with cheddar cheese, carne asada + avocado salsa Tamalitos - pork tamales in chile guajillo with red salsa, queso fresco, sour cream Queso Fundido w/ Chorizo Cielo, Mar, & Tierra Molcajete - steak, chicken, shrimp, nopales, panela + spicy tomato sauce Tres Leches Cake House Margarita Agua Picosita - jalapeño tequila, cucumber, tart grape, topo chico Carajillo - mezcal, Licor 43, cold brew, orange zest, vanilla Best bites & sips: The chavindecas gave me so much nostalgia with the corn tortilla, melted cheese, grilled carne? It's what carne asada dreams are made of. The molcajete? Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked proteins (even the chicken! trust me). And don't skip the tamales as the balance of meat and masa was chef's kiss. Loved the house marg, but the Agua Picosita stole the show. Crisp, refreshing, and patio-perfect.

Start off with saying that this place was awesome! They had the TVs with the baseball games going!!! Love the service. I sat at the bar and the bartender (a guy I think nick is his name sry lol) was awesome. Always making sure we had full drinks and chips with salsa!!! We went for happy hour which was bomb.com The ceviche was delicious... I added more lime and hot sauce to my liking ... The drink was of the hooookkkkk!!! Love the whole Mexican vibe of the place !!! It's for sure a place that I will be back too !!! HAPPY HOUR WAS AWESOME

New adelitas location - pretty solid but have a few kinks to work out. Menu is identical to original location. They have a few items in their brunch menu including chilaquiles and mole which is pretty solid. Extensive mezcal and drink menu. Service is friendly. Would go here again but I wasn't blown away. Like the mural on the wall. Fun spot to go out that's reasonably priced in today's inflationary era.

Great place for a variety of thoughtful, tasty Mexican dishes. Pros: - delightfully friendly and attentive service -You can mix and match street tacos -Margaritas are hand built so there is no gross neon marg mix. -their in-house hotsauce it FIRE!!!! -respectable portions - nice ambiance No cons really - it's a bit pricey. Not so much that it would turn me away but enough that I would try to go during happy hour or in taco Tuesday. - I'd love to see a few more taco choices.

Huge portions and tasty margs! The Al pastor burrito with the chipotle mushroom cream sauce was the perfect pair. Thursdays are tamale days, so it's suppose to be cheaper but I think my tamales were still $14.

Happened upon this place on our way home last night. Didn't know it was 'Taco Tuesday.' There was a minor 20min wait. We were seated at the bar and served by Alan. He was very attentive. Ordered 1 carne asada, 1 carnitas, 4 pollo and 3 veggie tacos. Everything was delicious, although my favorite was the carnitas; my husband really liked the veggie tacos! Food and drinks were served quickly. This would be a 5 star review, except I knocked it down one star since it's super loud inside.

Upscale, fairly expensive Tex Mex restaurant. 3 taco plate was good, not great. Carnitas were disappointing with a lot of grease and fat. Tacos were fairly cool when served. Service was good. Large bar. Friendly staff. Worth trying again.

    Shrimp tacos

First of all, they do a happy hour every day of the week, and their house margarita is a double shot of tequila. Delicious too! While the shrimp on the shrimp tacos wasn't seasoned much, they added a smoky, tangy sauce that was amazing. My husband had enchiladas with a mole sauce done really well. Service was good, vibe was casual. I'd go back when in Denver again!

    Salsa flight

Was on my way into the Edgewater public market when I realized Adelita's had finally opened and opted to go here instead. When I arrived the restaurant only had two other parties but it quickly filled up within 15 minutes of me sitting down around 4:15 pm on Taco Tuesday. The entire team was working together to ensure the satisfaction of every guest. They were all actively engaged. Donny was a phenomenal server and had a lovely aura and presence about him. He was there to refill my drink and touch base often. I started with the salsa flight and it arrived within 5 minutes of ordering. All three sauces were solid. The kind of salsas that get better the more you eat them. It was taco Tuesday so I tried the veggie, pollo, and pastor tacos. All of which were good. Not mind blowing, but for $2 each, they are more than a bargain. The tortillas were a little bland but the overall tacos were yummy. I would definitely come back to try more again. They also arrived within 5 minutes. And then, lastly, the Flan. I like to think of myself as a flan connoisseur. This was very good flan. As good as the one at La Diabla on Larimer which I feel sets the standard for good flan in Denver. And the total for my girl lunch? $25.99. That's it. These days that's a steal for 3 tacos, chips and 3 salsas and large portion of flan. Will be coming back with the girls next time!

Camarones , carne asada and al pastor.

Great Mexican place. Higher quality than your standard family Mexican restaurant. We started with the house marg and three salsas with chips. Good variety in the salsas and chips made on site. Then we had the queso and three tacos. All very good. Taco tortillas are small especially considering how much they put in them. All very tasty and come with spicy salsa. Ambiance is comfortable with a big open space and lots of windows. Host and server were friendly and food came up pretty quick. We'll be back to try other menu items!

Food was not that good. Rice was plain white rice! Sauces were too sweet. Beans don't have flavor. Rellenos were rubbery.

My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

We started with what might be one of the best bruschetta apps: grilled, charred bread topped with blistered heirloom tomatoes (those vibrant yellow and red ones!), creamy burrata (or whipped ricotta-like cheese), fresh basil, and a gorgeous balsamic drizzle. The contrast of the smoky, crispy bread with the juicy, roasted tomatoes and that rich, peppery cheese was so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend sharing this one! Frankie's cocktails were spot-on too. We went for the perfect pink marg with Tajín rims refreshing, citrusy (heavy on the lime), with just the right kick of spice from the rim. They were dangerously drinkable and paired beautifully with everything. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.
