This place is a bit over priced imo as the greens are not maintained to the quality they are charging. Especially when cart prices should be the same for 1 or 2 person riding but only the good golf courses recognize that charging one cart fee just makes sense. The staff could also be friendlier as not everyone is a pro golfer. Besides the golf etiquette that needs improvement here, the food in the kitchen was about what you can expect from a golf course kitchen, nothing special but tackles the hunger. The range was fun with some good people and the course overall was not the easiest so still had a good time. Man is the hole going up the hill on the East Course the toughest one I have played so far.

Heard from other golfers I've played with that this place is a "gem" and I have to say I agree after playing a full 18. The weather was perfect for me at 95-100 degrees in the afternoon and the views were amazing. The pro shop folks were nice and welcoming. Grabbed a souvenir ball for sure. Pace of play was great throughout the round. Nice challenging course all around and some slow greens. Need to add some weight to my scotty after seeing how it fell short a few 30 footer plus putts. Overall I want to come back with more friends as this was a very memorable outing for me. Nature + Golf was a plus!

We finally had the chance to try out Blue Rock Springs Golf Course in Vallejo, after a high recommendation from my wife's friend - and I'm so glad we did! This course is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. We played the West Course, and it was fantastic, with well-maintained fairways and a layout that made every hole enjoyable and challenging in the best way. I can't wait to come back and experience the East Course next time. For anyone in the Bay Area looking for a quality round of golf, I'd highly recommend Blue Rock Springs. It's easily one of the best courses around.

Really enjoyed the round here.Greens were well maintained and fast. Interesting but challenging layout.Rental clubs ( Cleveland's ) were fairly new and affordable. Scenic vistas as well. Will come back when in

Easily accessible East Course from SF leads and undulates near the quarry. Two parking lots. Fairways are approachable up and down. Greens are undulating. Rough is cut low enough to play OR hides your ball. Not much OB or carries, and there are a few holes where thicker rough is essentially jail. Very reasonable rates, nice cafe and friendly staff.

A couple of Sundays ago my friend invited me to play on this course for the first time. I looked up the course online and noticed it was a fairly short course at under 6200 yards from the tips. He made the reservation for the east course (there is another 18 holes on the west course). I also noticed that the slope was 127 which meant the course can be challenging even from 6100 yards. When I arrived I noticed that there were 3 parking areas. One was close to the entrance, the other was on a short hill and the third is closest to the club house. At first I parked up the hill and found it to be very quiet with no monitoring. As I was looking down I noticed an opening on the lot closest to the club house and drove down to get it. Other yelpers have indicated people have had their cars broken into on the hill. For the course itself, the east course was located on the other side of the main road and was reachable through a tunnel. The course itself played pretty tough. The fairways were tight in some places and in pretty good conditions thanks to the rain storm a few days before. The greens were tricky and ran at moderate speed. I did enjoy the course and would love to play out again. I shot a 79 but I think I can get it down to 75.

Played 18 holes, and barely finished before sunset from a 1:20pm tee time. I played the west course and it was $32 for the tee time and I got a beef burrito for $10. The burrito was good. I walked the course and although it was a little hilly, it wasn't that bad. The views were pretty good on top of some of the hills and the course was in good condition, especially for $32 for 18 holes. If you're in the area I would recommend you book a tee time!

just an fyi...my car cam recorded this individual scoping out BR parking lot to possibly break in an grab anything. drives older BMW suv.

Love this East course and its layout. Tee boxes are healthy and cut, fairways set your ball high and wide enough for off the tee errors, greens are big with undulation but their speed will vary from green to green. BR uses color schemes for their pin placements (red=front, white=middle, blue=back). The challenge is the swirling winds. make safe choices to avoid blowups. btw...keep your items hidden in your car. had an individual inspect my car looking for a reason to break in. this guy drives and older bmw suv. I wish the golf staff kept an eye out or hidden cameras. this wouldnt be the first break-in in this lot and definitely not the last since the golf staff and city wont do anything to prevent or even prosecute.

I visited to get my distances dialed in, and got assistance after with an email of the report. Turns out it was a single video of someone else. After several days of waiting, I finally got a report with some data. But Carry and Total Distance were not available - whether via browser or the Trackman app. Then I was told I had to have signed into the their bay when I was onsite. But when I arrived onsite with a buddy, we both said we need help getting set up and thus we thought we were - turns out that wasn't the case. Seems to me that if you know Trackman this place may be worth a try. If you don't, you should learn before you go or risk the chance of not having key data available after the session. Unfortunately, with all the back and forth and the fact I never got the 2 most important data points I wanted (the reason I signed up was to dial in iron and wedge distances) I would reconsider going here. When I suggested that all employees become proficient in Trackman and asked what they thought I heard nothing back. Probably worth a try, but, buyer beware. If I were the shop owner, I would have offered a return session on the house. This never crossed their minds. Too bad.

I thought I would jump on the review train and let everyone know that this place, despite being a 9-hole course, is one of the most well kept, friendly and welcoming course in the area. Every single thing that people have complimented is absolutely a FACT. But what isn't being said is what this place is doing for the game of golf and the golfing community. I have played golf (not very well) for 40 years. I had taken about a 13-year break and lost interest until Father's Day last year. My son-in-law, who had never swung a club, wanted to go try out a range. We dug my clubs out of the shed, cleaned them up and headed to Skylinks. I had never been, and just remembered how drab the place looked a few years ago. We showed up, walked into the club house, got a bucket of beers, a bucket of balls and headed out. I was blown away by how friendly and customer-oriented the staff was. We both had a great time, hitting the sticks, drinking some beers. The next day, the son in law bought a set of clubs and later that week, we brought our wives with us and they thought the atmosphere was great. That weekend, we played a round at Skylinks. No pressure. So much fun. Since then, we have both taken to golf. We have played multiple times after work. Played a host of courses in the area. We played in a charity tournament. We have even played in Hawaii and Mexico. Thanks to Skylinks, I am officially a golfer. And, I couldn't be happier.

I wish they had one similar where I live in the North Bay. One thing I noticed was all the parents bring their kids to hit some give golf a go. This place seems very kid friendly, especially when the bouncy houses are open. There are an abundant amount of bays at the range, so there is room for everyone. I like the self dispensing machine. Just tap your card, select your bucket size and whack away. I also liked the bucket w/ extra plastic tees...just in case your bay is missing the tee. Music was a nice touch as well. My only gripe...the range was too busy with signs, flags, 1000's of balls all over the grass. It was a bit of a distraction in trying to find the flight of my ball at times. Very small issue. I didn't go into the "clubhouse" so I have no idea what that was about. The food truck wasn't open. This place still rocked though. Odds are I won't be back, but I will remember this place fondly and wonder why I haven't seen another like it anywhere else...especially in the Santa Rosa area.

A few of the machines were broken, so after the machine took our points with no play we approached the counter and were credited via the play card. There were racing games with cars and motorcycles, shooting simulators, street fighter/mortal combat style games, asteroids, pac man, air hockey and more. The Fast & Furious racing simulator is the best, power ups, nitro packs, the setup of the steering wheel and pedal felt real, the interface was super engaging. My husband and I went head to head and it was incredible! This game is literally the reason I picked Scandia. Miniature golf too, we did both grounds - 18 holes each. We had a grand ol' time. Our daughter and I usually venture to Scandia for her playdates and for her play, but this time was amazing since I got to play too esp play what I wanted to play without compromise.
